While my visit to Kroger today wasn't the most memorable, I appreciate the convenience and selection it offers. The store itself has a lived-in feel, and while some areas could benefit from an update, it was still clean and well-organized. I particularly appreciated the quick and kind cashier. Overall, it's a reliable option for grocery shopping, and I'd definitely return in a pinch

Amazing deals if you get a plus card. It's pretty well stocked most of the time. Building up points help you save on gas at their pumps, In fact, I think they are tied into some Johnny's pumps as well!

Clean I had no waiting I needed a price check and the lady was nice and did a price check for me and also let me know there was one by the pharmacy if I needed it. I was in and out parking was great It was snowing but the parking lot was cleaned up. Has shopping carts regardless of the cold.

I'm an instacart shopper. I'm at this Kroger multiple times a week. That being said, I hear from the managers and even the staff "sorry everyone called out today." Okay I get that. No need to announce it to your customers. But I hear this kinda thing at least once a day when I'm there. My question to the management is why are they calling out? Like why don't people want to come to work for you?Another thing annoyed me earlier as I was checking out. There's an employee with glasses that monitors the self check out lanes. Her body language screams attitude. I can understand having an attitude one day. Maybe another day. We're all human and all have bad days. But every time I'm in this store, she leers at me like I'm stealing. Today for example, the self checkout needed to be reset because I dropped a can of tomato paste. She slides over to the terminal, gives me a dirty look, and then proceeds to review the video footage right in front of me like I'm a criminal. She then says "How many cans of tomato paste did you get?" And I replied "4. If I was gonna steal something, it would be the locked up baby formula and baby body wash since this store locks up stuff that mothers need to keep their babies alive" and she stared at me walked away. It's a 59 cent can of tomato paste.If the Instacart batches weren't good from this Kroger, I wouldn't step foot in it.

The staff is always friendly, and helpful. They keep the store very clean. There are a lot of things they have a wide selection of, but there are some things you would kind of expect them to have that they either don't carry at all or have a surprisingly low selection of.

Store is clean and well stocked. Stocking is kept up throughout the day. Store is crowded during normal rush hours as the only Kroger left in are area.

I haven't been inside in a while but that's because of their amazing pickup system!Out of all the stores we have tried, this Kroger has quickest pickup, best sub policy, and easiest check-in. We've also never had broken eggs, squished bread, or bruised fruits which always seem to happen when we go elsewhere.Staff is also helpful, quick, and polite, too.

Do Not Work Here!!Even if you are working full time hours, they'll have you as part time so you can't file for unemployment after you leave employment at Kroger.They have lost my business due to their lack of support for their staff.

Jackson, Michigan argyle store. The store is okay. the pharmacy is a joke. I'm assuming Kroger management does not really care about customer service, otherwise they would fix the problem of medications never being ready

This store needs a lot of help with their pick up. 1 month ago I placed a pick up that was supposed to be ready 5-6 pm. I showed up at 6 and my order wasn’t ready, there was no communication and they said they still had 2 hours on it. I asked for the manager who came out and barely offered an apology. Had there been communication, it would have been fine.Then today, my order was supposed to be ready at 3, I got a call it would be ready at 4. Selected I’m on my way at 4:30 and got a call saying it was not ready. Got a call saying it was ready at 6, arrived at 7 and have been waiting for a half hour with no one explaining why the order is so late when it’s already 4 hours late. Unacceptable in terms of customer service.

Gave 1 star because unless their hours can be hacked on their website, they are actually closed although it says open today. Gas is WAY too expensive to be kidding around now!!!!!

EDIT: Since making this review they have seemingly ordered a bunch of brand new smaller carts! Much appreciated Kroger! Thank you! As such I'll add a couple stars to my review. 🙂 I go to this Kroger location often and can usually get everything I need. But there are a few issues that cause me to go to a different grocery store when possible.First of all, you should never expect there to be any carts inside the vestibule. Nine times out of ten you'll have to go back to the parking lot to grab one. So I recommend just grabbing one before you even enter the store. Also, I'm pretty sure they only have one, maybe two of the smaller shopping carts, which is unfortunate as I find those perfect for my shopping trips. So I'm left to usually use a basketSecondly, the variety of food isn't near as good as you'll find at Meijer. Obviously Meijer is quite a bit larger so I can't fault them too much for that, but the prices compared to Meijer are often much higher which makes Kroger not very competitive.I will say, Kroger does have some decent sales but there are a lot of them you can only take advantage of if you have the app on your phone. They have a lot of "buy 5 save $5 mix and match" type of deals but I find those too difficult to keep track of. Keep an eye out for the weekly digital deals as those are usually a good way to save quite a bit of money.Like most stores, they rarely have any regular checkouts open anymore. I prefer self checkout anyway, but if you are someone who likes to have an employee scan and bag your groceries, prepare to wait in line for a bit.For some bizarre reason (shoplifting I guess?) sometimes the carts will literally lock up on you as you are leaving the store. So if you have a cart full of groceries you are left stranded until you transfer them all to a new cart. And remember, you'll probably have to go to the parking lot to find one. Meanwhile there's a line of people behind your locked up cart trying to maneuver around you to exit the store.Don't even think about returning bottles here as there's only like 4 machines and once they are full it takes forever for staff to empty them. If you must return bottles here I highly recommend going first thing in the morning or at night to lessen the chance that you'll have to wait in line or worse, wait for them to be emptied.I'd also like to add that in some aisles the music is absolutely way too loud. I can't imagine taking a child here who is sensitive to noises. It's especially bad in the freezer aisle with the frozen vegetables.Overall, it's your average Kroger store. It's fine for a few items if you live nearby, but if you have to do a larger grocery haul or you don't live close, skip it and head over to Meijer.

Place was clean and stocked well. We were able to get in and out of the store quickly. Only a couple cashiers open but we found an amazing one; SHRON! She was pleasant throughout the whole transaction, engaged with us when we ask questions, and was a pure delight. She definitely deserves a huge pet on the shoulders and recognition for a great job done.

Can you imagine if their advertisement didn’t have the period punctuation? That’s how I first read it. “heroes sacrifice victory” 😬This location has almost completely switch to self check out. To those who care, make note that they do not clean the self check out stations after each use.The store will likely have what you need... Unless you actually need a person to help you. I’ve interacted with over thirty individuals who work at that store and only one was really pleasant. None of them acted like they wanted to be there in any capacity. Most will avoid doing their job wherever possible. It’s awkward if you actually need help. So if you’re self sufficient— this is your store

I ordered this cake 16 days in advance .. this cake looks absolutely nothing like the picture online this is how I got my daughters birthday cake she cried when she seen this I spent 40.99 for this cake and have to go and buy things myself for this cake to make my daughter feel better ... I will absolutely will not order another cake from krogers again this will be the last time ...

I enjoy the store it's the Black female security guard Tulucyki she constantly follows me she doesn't like that I come in later close to close .I have reported her Kroger gives me credit I don't want credit I want her to LEAVE me alone she repeats the time over and over following me she has been right on my heels . This time my son dropped me off then came in couldn't find me went up to her to have me paged. When she seen it was me she said ALOUD RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SELF CHECK OUT(I LIKES HIM HE BRINGS HER IN EARLY OH YAY I LIKES HIM OH YAY ME LIKES HIM I was so embarrassed my son was too he had no idea she was going to act in such a manner . I believe The management there are intimidated by her because of her masculine appearance and her loud voice her mannerisms leave a lot to be desired .! I certainly would shop more there if I knew she wouldn't be. BECAUSE I love Kroger there coursty desk employees are harsh also there's a young black female that has treated me just as bad again manger standing right there and allowed her to degrade me and I just wanted to pay a bill I had come im 10 minutes before before her desk closed and she was upset and told me I should have been there before thei and if I didn't write fast enough it wasn't going to sent and everyone near heard it they heard by her that my payment was late and is that all I'm going to pay I asked her to plastic she continued and when i tried to get the attention of the manger standing there I was telling her what she was doing to me she interrupted and said what did you tell her?? If you don't shut up you're payment isn't going through !! I said your not going to take care of this ?? Will she did do it I didn't try her I immediately took it over to another manager and she looked at it and it was fine. .I don't know how they allow these types of employees to do this I can't be the only one!! Kroger has issued me $27 dollars a couple of times that's not the point though I just hope they can find better people! I like Kroger I've been going there all my life and I'm 68 COME ON KROGER JACKSON NEEDS YOU!!

It's 12:30. Only one bottle machine is working. There's a long line of people trying to get their deposit. Customer service says that there is only one person who can fix the machines, and said person is unreachable. It's time to either get an employee to manually count bottles or stop charging deposit. It's also time for training management and maintenance department leadership to be able to first notice and then resolve the issue and promptly get us refunded.

Items marked less than charged, RUDE STAFF...went in to buy some flowers and there was a big yellow sign in the bin with a SPECIAL price, went through check out and flowers rang up $9.00 more each, the cashier Jeanne was so rude, she went over and yanked the sign out and said " that's the wrong price, you want em or not, she actually should have sold them to anyone who wanted them if the price was advertised as such, called corperate, not because of the price issue, but because Jeanne obviously hates her job and doesn't want to be there, and if it were my company I'd want to know, NO MORE KROGER FOR ME.

Do not use your food stamps an order food for pick up. They forgot 8 totes an never refunded me. I tried calling an emailing an they told me 30 days an it's been 30 days I've heard nothing. This was a 500$ order. They got over 150.00 in food stamps an I never got my order.

Most of their workers are rude, & not helpful. There's about 2 or 3 cashiers that are ok. The older lady in self checkout with very short hair.... Should not be in the retail business. The older foreign lady in the deli section is ridiculous. If you don't want to deal with people, then find another job. There always out of produce to. Prices are high as well. There's never any shopping carts to.

Kroger keeps their shelves stocked up. Unlike Meijer's keeping the stock on their shelves low on stock, creating a False sense of a shortage and Panic Purchases.The produce is fresh and stocked. Bakery items are stocked. Along with meats being stocked up the prices storewide are better, in general too.The only thing to keep in mind, if it looks busy when you come into the parking lot, then be sure to grab a grocery cart, if you see one near you, out in the parking lot. Because Kroger may not have any available inside the entrance. Happy Shopping.!

I normally shop at the Dearborn and Royal Oak store but I stopped at this location since i was visiting family out here and it was very clean and not a lot of traffic but my issue was the bad meat I bought and the fluid from the meat leaked out the packaging and thru the bags and onto my floor of the car ughh .. come on now Kroger gotta do better ..

I love this store. It's always clean, well stocked, and inviting. Some of the employees have my heart, seriously so kind. Their organic selection is the best around, which I really appreciate in general but especially right now for avoiding yucky pesticides that may compromise our immune systems. Thank you all for everything!
