Like a lot of Goowill 'thrift' stores in the area, the management has gone completely clueless with the pricing. I've attached photos of two items on the shelves with the price tags visible. Covered glass candy dish with a chipped rim on both the lid and he bowl... $40! Second is a silver plated pot metal tea pot, badly bent and $60! Their excuse? 'We use Google lens to price items.' 🙄

Enjoyable visit. We were greeted when we enter the store which was well stocked and full of smiling associates willing to help.Check out their color of the day for 50% off items.There's a back rum that we're unaware of that has photos, furniture, and larger items for sale.Shoes were located on top of each of the racks so was a little difficult to try to find exactly what you were looking for.

I came into the Goodwill on Mechanic Drive in Jackson Michigan and I met two of the best Guest Services Workers you could find at any Goodwill in the state of Michigan Maddie and Bree the assistant manager are two of the best stop in at this location and be sure to thank them for their hard work they do a fantastic job.

The prices in this store are unacceptable. Picked up a couple of things that were marked $2.29 that sold in regular stores for $1. Ask her if they'd come down on the price. She looked at me like I had three heads. There's no reason for used items to be priced higher than what you can buy a brand new one for. They got quite the good deal going on there. And yes that last sentence was dripping with sarcasm.

The prices here are more expensive than antique stores, eBay and retail stores. Makes absolutely zero sense given that their inventory is entirely donated to them. They also send their good stuff corporate to be listed online instead on the salesfloor, so what you see on the shelves is the literal scraps, yet they overprice it. Greedy. This store stinks.

I'm not sure why it has changed, but the pricing on non-clothing items has skyrocketed. I used to be able to pick up great things for my home at great prices. Now, I look at the prices and put them back on the shelf. The stores under this umbrella of "Central Michigan's Heartland" are some of highest prices in Michigan and surrounding states. When I ask about prices at the store, I'm told the changes are because of "Corporate" policies.

To me the Goodwill Stores are like going Treasure Hunting sometimes you find some really Good Deals.There are 2 Goodwill Stores the Original at one time they had their Headquarters there.They moved their Headquarters. The Store is still there and the staff are friendly and prices are Very Reasonable there.Then Goodwill opened a New Store which has been open for a few years. Their their staff are mostly friendly and some not as friendly. The prices are usually a little high. And today it's surprise me because they wanted to me to leave my Backpack in a basket. I said is this a New Policy Manager said we're trying. So I asked her, what happens if a Backpack gets stolen. No answer.All I found in that store today was inexpensive wall clock.If that's your New Policy.I just won't be going to that store anymore.

Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. Having only 2 dressing rooms was a huge problem the day I was in there. One lady had a cart completely full of clothes pulled up to the dressing room and was trying on everything in her cart. Even poking out with just a bra on with teenagers right there. While another girl was trying on dresses, but still looking for more to try on at the same time. When I asked if she was done, since she wasn't actually in the room, she said no. A fleece jacket that my son wanted was $7.99, which seemed kind of high priced for Goodwill, but other than that, the store was good (not great but good).

The prices are a bit confusing and high. I thought I had about $20 worth of stuff, and it was over $40. Very small selection of kids' clothes. Larger kids' clothes are tagged as adults and cost more. More expensive than other good wills and other area shops.

One of the better Goodwill stores. Unfortunately, that’s not that big of a compliment. Prices are “okay” for most things. This store follows the new standard I’ve seen for book pricing though, which way too pricey in my opinion, especially for childrens books. Out of the 2 Jackson Goodwills, this one often has a bit better selection of items overall.

The manager there I believe her name is Amy gets 10 Stars 10 out of 5 she's the best she keeps the store nice and clean and stocked full of everything! And she's always pleasant when I come in with a return and that means a lot to me thank you Amy! ( gosh I really hope that's your name ... LOL)

This place is out of its mind with the prices. Goodwill is supposed to be a way for those less fortunate to get clothes for cheap. It's an insult to the community to price some of the things in this store so highly even with the rising prices it's extraneous. They have the lost focus on their initial mission.I suggest trying Saint Vincent, or other second hand stores as goodwill has become more of a reseller than a second hand store..

The store is fine, if a little bit dingy. I was confused as to why a Christian lecture/sermon was being played over the loudspeakers, but it was a Sunday morning, so maybe it won't be that way every day? Just a tip, if you prefer not to listen to that sort of thing. If you do, have at it.

Hard to make a good review when the management forbids entry to an entire class.Your "No Weapons" sign doesn't keep guns out, just the ones being carried lawfully and certainly by individuals trained to respond to the very threat you're trying to mitigate.I urge you to review your policy with an unbiased and factually based approach. Maybe, consult subject matter experts (like attorneys and law enforcement).

You can say what you want about buying clothes but when you're buying for children and you're on a budget and even buying for yourself this is a great place to purchase slightly used clothes in good condition and claim at a very reasonable price plus it goes to help other two were in more need than we are my hat's off to Goodwill Industries

Nice, clean, and well organized. Like most thrift shops, it is hit or miss. Goodwill has raised its prices, and as others have noted, they get this stuff for free. Sometimes you can buy the stuff cheaper on sale at a retail store. That does not make any sense.

As much as I like Goodwill, with offering people jobs and all, the pricing on USED goods has gotten rediculous. It is far from "Vintage" as they try to pawn it off on the West Coast.The folks at this location do a great job at keeping it organized and running (Goodwill's saving grace), but pricing on items company-wide, is moving towards the beginning of the end for them.

Mask protocol NOT FOLLOWED !The last 2 times I was here, people were walking around with their masks worn improperly. When I bought it to the manager's attention, she made excuses.Today of about 20 customers, 4 were not wearing masks properly/ around chin/below chin INCLUDING AN EMPLOYEE!Their disregard for safety is reprehensible!

prices are going skyrocket...most the nice stuff is posted to there online store..which is a RIP off..higher then what u could buy on ebay..the manager at this store is rude as can be..this guys is a millionaire and ripping people off, and paying employee minimum wage. no longer enjoy going there...prices seem like they pull them out of thin air...this is a legal scam..pathetic
