No self checkout. Slow regular checkouts. All other DG stores have self checkout except this one. My mom was here a few weeks ago and some weirdo flashed her because that sex shop is across the street and next door is that mental health facility segue. Employees did nothing and didn't care. Just laughed. Store was dirty and pouring with overstock. This replaced the store next to the old Kroger (now Aldi) and it's only like two or three years old and now just as dumpy and dirty. Pity. Lol. Dollar general clearly doesn't care about their stores or maybe its the management. Everyone here needs fired. Tons of prices up that aren't even right. (expired sale signs).

No wonder you're hiring.Walked in to buy a prepaid gift card waited 10 minutes before I had to yell to get somebody to come out of the office that was talking on the phone to her boyfriend. Literally could have robbed the store blind but I'm a good person.

Worst store I've ever been in. So much unboxed merchandise it's blocking half the store inventory. If I was a district manager, I fire whoever was in charge of this store! It is TOTALLY out of control. The store needs shut down until it's cleaned up.

I go here very often because I have kids and it's convenient and close. Every time I go in, the shelves are almost empty. You can't even walk through the isles with a cart because they have to much inventory on the floor instead of the shelves. Half the time there isn't a cashier up front and I'm waiting, even though they see me and need to "ring the bell"

Hello, I spend a lot of money at Dollar General store #07858 and was thrilled to have one of your wonderful stores opening up near me. Since this particular store has opened, Ive encounterd many rude employees. Some are nice, but not very often, most are just plain old RUDE. I hate this when I have my cart, ready to check out, wondering how will I be treated today? Last week a new employee was just horrible. I thought about writing you then about this young lady, but decided to give her another chance. So today Wednesday March 22,2023...This same girl was at the counter when I entered the store...never greeted anymore by any of your employees. when I got up front to check out, the same treatment, no hello, did you find everything ok...anything. Just a scowling face of a young girl obviously not wanting to be there, let alone look at the customer. I greeted her, but not a word was said back to me.....It really hurt me. Last week she made a rude gesture to me that bothered me, but I let it go, but was shocked. Now again today. I understand that is is new, and it will take time for her to learn the job or may even be shy ..but thats not it with her, she just has a really BAD attitude. Today I saw her name tag. It was at 4:01 pm that I was at your store. Thank You.

I have advised on numerous occasions that their cooler prices are wrong. Still not fixed which is annoying and I will start walking further to Meijer3-13-22 updateNice to see prices are still not marked correctly AND management doesn't care. Was also nice to be told "prices change daily" and if that's the case it needs to be posted. Avoid this store

It's a brand new store and stuff is still heaped up all over, I feel like they don't have enough employees or should have a specific stocking crew to take care things. I just don't like tripping over stuff. Employees are always great though.

For me it's a very convenient place to shop. There's one around every corner so it saves money with out having to drive another 15-20 miles. I enjoy this one the most. It's closest to me and all the employees are so friendly and helpful. Everytime I bring my mom (she's 86) they go out of their way to help her find items and to help her check out. You can't find people like that any more.

Tamara or whatever her name is steals while she’s “working” looked over and from my side view seen her slip something into her pocket, she then proceeded to give me a dirty look and talk badly about me to her coworker when she realized I seen her I don’t think she should be trusted by any employer

practically live in this store. one stop shop. just about anything you need. its much nicer in the new store eveything is put away and organised. Great job guys!i love the staff at this store. hardworking and friendly. i would of have given 5 stars but for when you pull out onto the Ave you cant see the traffic comming from the west because of the trees in the next lot, hopefully theyll cut it back instead of poison.

Checked out the newer dollar General on east Michigan. Very well organized and much larger building. Very clean but expected as its new. Prices were low as expected. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly... Will recommend!

Shop here often. Wasn’t satisfied with the greeting tonight. “You only have 6 minutes”Was all they said. Just had to get one thing. Don’t feel like they put the customer first. Only worried about getting out of there.

Dollar general on michigan Ave in jackson Mi. Very unorganized and employees had most of the shopping carts full of stock and unavailable to customers. We had to move boxes to get to merchandise we wanted to purchase also an employee dropped a light bulb and left it broke all over the floor and went to another area of the store and never cleaned it up she dropped it when I was walking in and it was still there 20 minutes later when I was leaving. Also store was very dirty and looks like it has not been cleaned or sanitized in months. I recommend not shopping at this dollar general.

Store aisles are crampt and often not wide enough to go down. Its decent to grab milk/eggs/bread so you don't have to go to meijer. Staff is nice and tries.

This place was very busy and the young lady work at the front counter, Catherine, was an absolutely amazing employee! If I ran a business I would hire her in a heartbeat.

I like most of the prices at DG, but you guys have really got to work out the clearance items. Each time I shop, which is at least bi-monthly, I check out the 50% off items and almost always purchase some. No matter which location, I have not yet received 50% off from the sticker price on all items. Quite disappointed and may not go back.

Places filthy stocked with carts all over the place full of s*** unloaded no prices on half the s*** the staff's real rude never have Mountain Dew even after they have it delivered a day before the place is a total s*** show I've been in there several times and I've stopped going

Places always kept up management and staff is point pleasant going to get in and get out if you don't know where something is they'll be glad to guide you to it I like shopping at Dollar general because it's convenient and the service is good most employees are polite and kind and helpful

They had the items I wanted on sale and at a price I liked. I got what I wanted and was out in very little time. Oh, the cashier was very polite and had jokes.

I forgot a bag there tried looking up the phone number but it wasn't working. I asked my husband to stop and see if he could get my things but they said no. Maybe the cashier should let you know how many bags you have. I really thought it was all in one bag. I will never go to this Dollar general again.

I went in to the dollar general on east Michigan ave today and I was going to purchase a hat and there was a sign that said all gray dot apparel and accessories, winter gear ect were 50% and the hat had a gray dot. I got up to the cash register and it didn't ring up on sale and even though a worker forgot to take the sign down, she wouldn't give it to me for that price. Just lost my business.

Small, cluttered, and unkempt pretty well describes this store. Most times the staff are helpful, but there have been times when the staff have been snotty.
