The website says open until 10pm. Google says open until 10pm. I got out of work at 9pm and arrived to this store at 9:25. Lights were still on, employees were inside. But when I walked up to the door it was locked and they shooed me away. If the hours online are correct, then the store was closed early for seemingly no reason and you lost a potential purchase.

Hello, store usually has the items I need. Management may need a little more training as it believed that store returns don’t include sales tax. I let it go because the return was small but hope they are not following this policy for other returns.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. It was DISGUSTINGLY dirty, smelled horrible but as a mom of a toddler in diapers.. what choice did I have? Hurried up and bought wipes, and asked if I could use the bathroom simply to change my daughter. The attendant (skinny, long brown hair) told me she "wasn't allowed to let me in" and then ignored me. If you're a parent and need to change your child, for the love of God don't go here. The attitude was almost as disgusting as the store.

This is how childish this buisness is. Instead of damaging out the items they place passive aggressive notes calling people who can't afford tampons and go to desperate measures nasty. It's one thing to be professional and do your job its another to act like a child and shame others that aren't as fortunate to have access to feminine hygiene

This location is usually a mess. Lots of boxed inventory in the aisles not being put away. Today I am sitting in the parking lot from 8:05-8:30am after the opening time of 8am, and there is no one here to open the store. The poor cashier is waiting outside in the cold with no vehicle to wait in or leave. Ten other customers have come and gone since I've been waiting here. There is a DG supply truck parked along the south side of the building. The Aunt Millie's truck (Perfection Distribution, LLC from Fort Wayne, IN) also came and left.Everyone has a bad day every once in a while but this store seems to have chronic issues.One can only speculate why.Dollar General posted profits over $10B in 2021 and 2022. It can afford to offer employees better wages and benefits to attract the right employees needed to successfully manage and operate stores.Corporate leadership, it seems that you may have forgotten that your frontline workers are literally the legs you stand on.

To the rude young gentleman working the cash register. You were very rude and disrespectful to the woman that walk up to you. She politely asked if you were open and yes your light was on so using the excuse "well im busy counting money right now" that is not how you speak to people. Everything you said to her was intentionally rude on your part the whole time and that is why mor people in the store spoke up on her behalf. You easily could have told her just one moment please. You need to be fired for how you spoke to her.

The biggest issue with this store is not stock or merchandise, it's the constant change up in employee's. Then some of the employees should be getting help filing for disability not working behind a register. One lady is very rude, mean mugs the entire store like she hates being there, could just be special, since that is the main quality of people you hire. Regardless if you could keep any employee or manager over past 5 years maybe you would deserve a higher rating. If your employees don't want to work there, what makes you think your customers will ever prefer to shop here?????? Smh 😒🤔 seriously all the good ones get fired.

One older lady always smiles at you and greets you. (Yes she wears a mask but you know and can tell she smiles.) Sometimes the line can be a bit long but does not tend to take to long waiting. They keep items well stocked.

I love shopping in this store. I could spend an hour just walking around looking at the merchandise. Really like the 2 for $1 greeting cards. Staff has always been friendly. They're usually very busy at this particular store though, and are slow to open the second cash register. Still, I wouldn't go to a different Dollar General.

This store is always a mess. Customer service is next to none. Tonite, I could barely get down the aisles because of loaded carts in the way! Could not get the product and clerk was unable/unwilling to help.

Very rude employees!! Disrespected and mistreated. Followed around and stalked thee entire time I was in the store. Talked about and pointed at. Awful!! Apparently they never learned how to be professional at work or just descent adults in general. This is what's wrong with the world today. And who's teaching our youth. Sad.-disrespected

I seem to always find something that's useable at home. This time it was glass vases for my son's wedding dinner. Their short and wide, perfect for holding silverware! The cashier was super kind and helpful. One downside though, the floors looked as though they could use a good mopping. All in all, a good experience shopping.

Okay so I typically get really friendly service and the staff, when not overwhelmed by understaffing, is very helpful and courteous. However the store is dusty, over packed, unorganized and just depressing. The staff boosted this review by two stars.

Worst shopping experience ever! The cashier was rude and didn't know how to operate the register. The card machine wasn't working properly and kept saying card read error, my card works every where else and had money on it. She literally refused to help or even figure out what was going on. She humiliated me in front of the other customers, so much so that the guy behind me got frustrated and paid for my order. I will never return to this store!!!!

Worst place I have never been treated so bad I stood patiently in line for 20 min with only one worker didn't complain when I get to check out I was told I couldn't use more then one of the same coupons I said ok i have 3 separate orders they told my that they could do that and gave me my coupons and walked away from me like I wasn't a customer as I was there shopping with my daughter we live in separate homes but we cant have separate orders

Stores are constantly hard to walk around in and the wifi normally does not work when it is needed for doing the shopping orders because getting data in there is near impossible.

I am usually happy with DG, but lately I haven't been able to use my digital coupons because of their machines only letting the number entry pop up for 30 seconds (or less), after that you can't use your coupons!!! What's the point of spending all that time "clipping" coupons if you can't even use them?! I lost out on over $4 in savings! They definitely NEED to fix this problem or I might as well go to Walmart! I'm only giving 3 stars as this upset me greatly! If they fix this, I'd give them 5 stars but at least 4.

Always a delight going in here. The staff is always so helpful and personable. The food is great! I suggest the sous vide egg bites or the mozzarella and tomato panini sandwich. Keep up the great work work!

I really like Dollar General. However sometimes they are short staffed and sometimes there's a long wait. And I did notice unfortunately that there generic brands do not even match up to any of the name brands. For instance I usually get Excedrin but I was getting the Dollar General off brand Excedrin and it did not work. So I just stay away from the off brands.

I go here for Code red 3 for $3 which is way better then Walmart i can admit that however you always are completely sold out of the code red, so what is point of having best deal on product i want but never have it in the store for me to purchase. This is like my 10th time this has happened seems like pepsi or someone at store would notice! Order a ton more to make the store more profitable on items they are selling out of, lack of meeting consumers demands is why you get 1 star and your a block from where I live. Sad really... No one has any common sense anymore.

If I could give this store a -10 I would. The prices on the items are not the same as what the scanned price is. They advertise "specials" but when you go to pay for your items they say... oh those are not the right ones on the sign!! WHAT! And the customer service reps are very rude.. they talk down to customers and refuse to open another register even if the line is very long. Then if you need a price adjustment the cashier will pick up the phone call and call someone in from outside while the lady coming in to change the price is cursing all the way in. It's a very unprofessional place oh and let's not talk about the "digital" coupons that NEVER EVER work... this Dollar general on Wildwood Ave in Jackson Michigan is by far the worst I have ever been too

Tried returning Dollar General brand diapers and couldn't without a receipt. Even though the diapers are store brand. Also the employees stand in the parking lot and smoke right next to cars with their windows open.

This is first time I've ever encountered behavior like this at this store. I purchased a graduation card yesterday, and when checking out, the clerk was very indifferent, looking almost mad about being there. The clerk Didi gave no eye contact, smile, or anything. I asked her nicely if she was feeling ill & she answered "no, I'm okay" in a very monotone voice, still no smile, eye contact, nothing. She just handed the card & envelope to me, without putting it in a bag. I even had to ask her for a small bag to put the card in! The other clerk then put up a sign closing that lane. I do hope she's okay, but she definitely was either having a bad day, or she needs to find another job... Customers don't want to be treated like this.
