A wonderful full line hardware store, AND they make and sell dry ice. I've only been there once looking for dry ice on a cross state drive from the Detroit area to w st of Chicago. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The dry ice prices were very competitive. I will definitely go back in the future.

Yes I stopped in there just to look around and they were so friendly and helpful I ended up buying some stuff I did need . And I can say there prices are extremely fair. The same items I bought I had checked some of the bigger stores and these folks were cheaper on all items . I will definitely be back for my paint. Thank you for opening out this way !

They need a BIG SIGN, cause it is a really nice store. Lots of inventory and propane gas. Quick and polite service. Did not know they were there till someone told me about them selling propane gas.

This place really saved me! I was in from out of town on a welding job and forgot a few things. I went to the 4 other welding stores in town and none of them had what I was looking for, a v-wack. Of those 4 stores only one person even knew what it was. The gentleman in charge of the welding supplies here immediately knew what it was and had a bridge cam in stock that did what I needed. This store is new and very modern inside. The employees here were all amazing. I returned here on a second trip and was given the same high level of service as my first.

Never in my life have I tried to go to a hardware on a Saturday and it's not open I have also seen Ace Hardware commercials on TV advertising a product I show up and they don't have it unbelievable

Best place in town to get hardware needs. The service is the main reason I go there... only thing that would be better is if it was open later and on Sunday... but hey... that's only because it's so conveniently close.

I like the store and definitely want them to be successful but I can't understand their business hours. I need supplies when I get home from work and on the weekend. They close way to early on weekdays and are closed on Sunday. They are missing so many customers.Their check out process needs to be improved. I was rang up at one register and then told to pay at the other register which took several additional minutes to ring me up again? Their staff is friendly and willing to help they just need to streamline the process.I love the welding supplies so I'll be back if they are open.

Best service that I've had in 25 years easy. Remember when you would drive up to a gas station pump and and fill your tank and asked you if you could get you anything else as he checked your oil and the rest of your fluids? That's how this store is run absolutely amazing and I fully intend to give them all of my business.

Great customer service. Helped me find what I needed, super personable. Much nicer than getting lost and/or ignored at Home Depot or Lowes. Ship-to-store is super convenient, finally was able to get a sliding screen door to fit my abnormally large slider! Only downside is that they have weird hours, would be nice if they were open after 5pm.

I get my propane refilled here and they are always on top of it. I also purchased a generator from them recently. Very helpful. Got the wrong cord plug originally but got that corrected.

Baker's Ace has a great assortment of items and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I'd been happy with the service, but on January 18th I heard one of the staff talking with a regular customer about how Jackson isn't growing except into a "cesspool" and I'm afraid I'm pretty put off by that. if that's how you feel about the community where your small business is located, where your customers and employees are from, then I'm going to consider taking my business elsewhere in the future. Even though you're the most conveniently located to my home, and have been very helpful in the past, I don't appreciate that sort of attitude about our community. I'll be happy to take my business in town to Casler or Hammond hardware, who have been in Jackson for decades, or even to Lowe's. Thank you for your help in the past and I hope you have a more positive attitude about building a better community in the future.

This Ace "IS" the place. I stopped in after starting in Lansing and searching ALL their competitors and then locally, in Jackson, for 2" 60 grit grinding pads and quick connects. Brad Gordon and his team were right on the money, knowledgeable and friendly. They had what I needed. This will be my first call or stop when I'm in need of anything for my projects. I recommend you stop in when you're in need.

I was excited to find that an ACE had moved in close to home. Have visited them several times and have never been disappointed. Am always able to find what I need and for a good price, too. Staff is friendly extremely helpful. I will continue to shop there for my hardwares.

People are fairly nice, no complaints about the people at all. If they don't know the answer they'll find it for you. It's the only thing that earned them a second star.The place is run really poorly though. Slow to deliver online orders (glacial, order on Sunday and it probably still won't ship two Mondays afterwards) and slow to deliver from warehouse (1 week plus) to store. Prices on shelves don't match the stickers on the items, neither match the point of sale system, and more often than not none of them match online. You might as well send email to a black hole, you will never get a response and probably for the same reason.After spending thousands of dollars there in the past few months, I'm probably going to go back to buying from anyone else, probably online from one of the many other Mom and Pop Welding Shops. It's too bad, because I think they have potential.

These guys are my go to for all things welding and gas. Good selection of parts and consumables, knowledgeable staff etc. bought a new hypertherm plasma cutter and could not be happier, took my old broken miller from the early 90’s in on a bounty program and saved me big money!
