The first time I took my poodle here we didn’t have any issues. The second time, I requested a groomer there and got someone else. No big deal at first, but when I arrived the groomer appeared to have a bad attitude and was not friendly. I get people have bad days but for me leaving my dog there I think i should be dropping him off to someone with good vibes. When I picked him up the groomer did not even talk aside from telling me how much to pay, had me pay then brought my dog out. Didn’t allow me to see the dog before I paid. If I did I wouldn’t have left a $15 tip.When I got him home I noticed he had razor burn on both sides of his face, which one side was bleeding for a good 20 minutes & started again the next day also. :(He also has uneven hair all on his body as she shaved him and also missed parts. Some hair is longer than other parts of his body.His hair left on his ears was half brushed, I brushed it out no problem but for what we pay I don’t believe my dogs cut should be half done. I know he’s a big dog and a poodle so he did have some knots on his body. But I did mention this when dropping him off, therefor if the groomer did not want to do him or didn’t feel like it I should have been told and happy to take him else where. I also asked for him to have some color, the groomer asked what color I told her. He did not have any color to his ears like we discussed and she did not even mention anything to me about itOn top of all of this, when he got home he peed for a good minute and a half soon as he got out of the car like he hadn’t gone the entire 5 hours he was there. Just be aware when taking your big dogs!

I take my boys to A Tails A Waggin and I won’t take them anywhere else! Walter is my chihuahua and he’s an old man who doesn’t like many people. I take him there to get his nails done and he loves the girls there! He always comes home with a spunky little attitude for his age and it’s so cute to see that something like grooming can give him so much joy. Jp on the other hand, that little man i just ask for a mohawk on top and shorter on the sides. I don’t know much grooming lingo so forgive me, but they always know what I mean and what I like. I’ve never been disappointed with how my boys look afterwards, let alone how they are treated. Leaving my babies with strangers is something that has always scared me but the people here treat them more than just a dog. I appreciate you guys! Can’t wait for my next appointment (the boys are excited too)!

When I got Teddy back from this groomer and looked him over at home, I noticed he had RAZOR CUTS around his legs. Then he started bleeding from the rectum. His poo was bright red. I rushed him to our vet, and the vet asked if he'd just been groomed. She thought he had "stress colitis" due to a stressful time at the groomers. He was put on medication, and now, a month later, is doing well.Ted is very very docile, by the way.But the owner had me sign off on a form that said they could not be responsible for any accidents due to his age. Then, the same owner groomed him too close, and cut his skin.If you take your dog there, don't sign any waivers. They need to take responsibility for the care of your family pet!Also, they never requested or asked if Ted had his vaccinations or rabies shot. So be sure your dog is up to date so they dont catch anything.It was a sad experience, as I had trusted them with my little guy.

They always do such a good job grooming my best friend. Full grooming service and they treat their customers pets like they are their own pets. My dog always comes back smelling fresh and clean . They always give a themed bandana around her neck , spooky theme has started .

Andrea does an amazing job on our 2 Bernese Mountain dogs. I've tried numerous groomers and she out performs them all! Well brushed, trimmed and smelling fabulous. We are beyond pleased with her diligence on these very large, massive Fur dogs. Our Murphy is 165 pounds and she greets him like a long lost friend. Which is not the greeting we have receive at the groomer we used to use. They dreaded him walking in the door, because how big and how much fur they had to brush. We are thankful beyond words we found her- compliments of the CAHS Furball.

Horrible experience, absolutely would not recommend. They just shaved my dog. My ask the breed and not cut to the breed ? I asked when I dropped off to make him look good. This is what I got. Upon calling yesterday and making them aware I'm unhappy . Lisa made it clear she didn't need my business. I'm calling the license in lansing on this business. I'm considering small claims . When picked up at appox 3 pm after dropping off at 10 am. Which I had to call to see if he was done. I'm informed he might need to go potty. He pulled me out the door and 1st thing he did was go potty. If you love your animal please read reviews before going to this place. Social media is a wonderful tool. Use it before deciding to visit businesses. I wish I had. You did not tell me in advance this is how he would be groomed. I would recommend to everyone. Do research and decide if your going to the right place .

I've been to here a few times now and have not been disappointed. They always do an awesome job grooming my Papillion and making him smell good. I was worried to bring him somewhere because I didn't want anyone to butcher his hair, but they knew exactly what to do. Affordable and fair pricing, also! I will definitely be back.

My German shepherd/Husky mix was super nervous going to the groomer for the first time, but the staff was amazing with her and by the time she was done they said she did amazing! Definitely going back again!

I've been using this groomer for over six years. They are very good with my dog and make him look spectacular, even though he is very vocal thru his groom. I would recommend Tails a Waggin without hesitation.

i brought my shepherd in and they did a wonderful job on her. i’ve taken her to other places and they leave a lot of her hair there but they took off a perfect amount and she looked like a puppy again. it may take awhile but they take there time and do amazing work definitely coming back and 100% recommend taking your doggies there.

Outside: Parking spots are plentiful and the building is decorated with nice simplicity. The outside was well maintained with steps leading up to the building.Inside: As soon as you walk in the superstition that it smells/ looks like dog melts away with a sweet aroma and clean floors.Service: When you first come in you are greeted by nice workers and a friendly cat that accommodate you right away. By the looks and delicacy of the grooming that I witnessed they take good care of the pets during grooming and treatment when brought there

I got there and she was immediately put into a crate (which wasn’t an issue). They didn’t have any of my information saved from our previous visit. After 4 long hours I had to call and see if my dog was ready to be picked up. I could hear her in a distance barking and scratching at the crate. They then told me “we’re not done with her yet” I got a call not even 20 minutes later that she was done. He hair was cut very poorly. I picked her up and they didn’t even know what to charge me. “Well what did we charge you last time” she was in the crate again when I got there and was crying to get out. She bolted out the door because she clearly hadn’t gone to the bathroom. He even came home and drank 2 bowls of water. She’s also been itching since her visit. Her first time there prior to this visit she had clipped her quick. Will not be returning.

Andrea was a wonderful groomer who took my Moose in and gave him a great haircut! She listened to my concerns and she was very careful with instructions. Moose came home relaxed and smelling wonderful!

Wife came home after getting the pooches hair cut, for $50 he came home looking like he was mangey. I will add it took pretty close to 5hrs. He's about 12 inches tall, 18 inches long. Also cut his ear to where they needed to use surgical glue?? Will not ever return there for sub-par service. Will also make sure none of our friends with fur babies make the same mistake we did

I never take my dog anywhere else! We took him to someone else when we first got him. He became aggressive, was nervous and would pull away on his leash He didn't even do that at the vet! When he started growling and snapping after grooming, we knew it was time for a change. He loves getting groomed here and all the attention and belly rubs he could ask for. They have calmed him down and he now pulls toward the door instead of away. Clearly, he had been mistreated at the other groomer. They do a great job and are timely. I have recommended them to several people and would again to anyone who asks. UPDATE~ The last time I called they had moved from their original location and was sold to a different groomer. I tried to make an appointment and left a voicemail I did not get a call back. I called again and this time I did get a return call. The she identified herself as new owner, was quite abrupt (I thought maybe she was just busy) and when I asked for an appointment for my dog, it was more than two weeks to get him in. At that time I explained to her my previous call that wasn't returned and had it been part of the time would have been over by now. She told me she was only open two days a week and she was the only groomer, she didn't know what to tell me other than call someone else and hung up on me. I see in some more recent reviews they are open M-S and have other groomers, IDK if the original groomer is back, if the new owner has hired others or what. I loved the original owner and if she has taken the business back I would definitely bring my dog in again, but if not, then I will continue what I have been, and have someone else do his grooming. Nobody has ever been as good as the original owner and would bring my Angus back in a heartbeat!

I've been taking my Charlie to Rachel at Tails a Waggin for about 8 years and have never had a problem he comes out looking fantastic and yes they are busy as should be for such a kind caring groomer...I recommend this groomer to everyone I meet . THANK YOU Tails A Waggin !!!

I started taking my puppies here when they were four months old. The ladies worked at getting the dogs comfortable with the sounds and smells of the place. They have always been kind to my dogs and do a fantastic job! I would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

Our puppy, a goldendoodle, was in desperate need of grooming and he looks sooo adorable now. Rachel did an amazing job on him! We are so pleased and will be back and telling all our friends! Prices are reasonable and facility is so nice and is so clean. We won’t take him to anyone but Rachel now!

We have been taking our dogs to Deb or years. She and her staff have always treated them with love and kindness, even when one was very ill (he has been gone several years now). His surviving sister is 15 years old, nearly blind and deaf; but still likes going to this place because they treat her so well. They do a super job of cleaning and cutting in a caring and compassionate setting. As another reviewer noted, they do everything out in the open! A powerful statement that they literally have nothing to hide from customers. Try them (call for an appointment, as they are busy) and I'm sure you and your pet will both enjoy their top notch treatment.

Today was Sonny’s first visit with Tails a Waggin and it couldn’t have turned out better. Sara was patient and attentive to us both and calmed my nerves about being new there.He was ready sooner than expected and looks and smells fantastic. Sonny seemed relaxed and comfortable with Sara. THANKS

My puppy has become somewhat aggressive with nail clipping and I couldn’t handle it on my own. I took him in on my lunch break for a nail clipping. They were quick and efficient as well as very confident in spite of his aggression. I was very happy with how they worked with him! Definitely going back as needed.

First they never call you back when you leave messages. After 3 weeks got in. They cut my dogs dew claw and to use surgical glue eventuallyhad to have it surgically removed. His hair wasn't cut like I wanted. And staff was rude as hell. I won' be back.

I called Monday evening and talked to Shawney (I’m sorry if I spelled your name wrong) My dog Chino is always terrified to go anywhere and the last place I tried to take him to I couldn’t even get him in the door. Shawney offered for me to bring Chino in 10 minutes before they opened the next morning (today) to see if it helps get him in the door and get his nails trimmed. Everyone was so kind when we came in and Shawney was absolutely amazing with Chino !Thank you so much for a great experience !

Will never go back have made 3 appointments to only be called back two times to cancel after making appointment a month before the day I was suppose to take my dog in. They don't care about service I said why you guys always cancel my appointment I guess I go somewhere else. They said ok that's fine
