Absolutely a must go! Great variety of apple cider donuts, including classic, maple, caramel, vanilla, pumpkin, plain, blueberry, etc. They were all flavorful and fresh! Their apple cider is also very good. The service was great! They're located behind the Subway, so make sure you don't miss the entrance!

This was an awesome stop on our way through. The donuts are fabulous and so is the cider slushies. We also got some awesome fudge and some awesome mugs. Plenty of good nick nacks along with great snacks. Bought some freshly picked awesome corn on the Cob outside as well. Highly recommend if you have not been. Great testing spot with outdoor seating and a great little ride for the kiddos.

This is a great stop for families! Amish baked donuts, pies and other bakery goods. They sell fresh picked seasonal Michigan produce. Their specialty is frozen apple cider slushees. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and a cute gift shop selling all kinds of Michigan products! Highly recommend!

The Apple Barrel made the pies for my wedding! They were AMAZING. great to work with and the pies were delicious. We taste tested pies from different vendors in the area and the Apple Barrel by far had the best! I highly recommend their pies! They taste great and are reasonably priced!

I have eaten some good doughnuts in various places but the chocolate glazed doughnut I got at Apple Barrel might be the singular best doughnut I have ever had. Cute shop full of various good and souvenirs, courteous staff.

The most amazing service we've had in ages! So friendly! The cider slushies were exactly what we needed as we shopped! We ended up taking home apple cider, apple cider doughnuts and a ton of stocking suffers lol ohhh and a windchime I fell in love with! ❤️

I love this place. My mom used to go every week. They have really good apples! Doughnuts, cider and everything else is super good too. I love all the decor and everything else they have. Staff is ALWAYS super nice! They were packed today and everyone had a smile and they were super nice and very very patient. I drove like a half hour just to go there and will again when I need more apples! Worth it to me. They have such a variety of everything. They also have pumpkins and mums.

I try to stop in whenever I pass this way. They have great cider and donuts. We love the fudge, and all the variety of flavors. They are always friendly. They also have some great Michigan made or themed gifts.

You need to go to Apple Barrel Cider Mill if you want fudge, taffy, donuts, apples, maple syrup or honey.They have great products, a very nice store, and even show they care about low operating costs and society by having on-site solar.

Wonderful little cider mill just off the expressway. I stop frequently for hot cider in my travels. Wonderful gift shop as well. Need a unique gift but have no clue. You need to check them out.

Always get the hot apple cider there and the caramel apple frosted donuts. Also their peanut butter fudge actually tastes like peanut butter rather than pure sugar 👌🏻

This place has the best fudge at even better than great prices. Their donuts are amazing! Don't forget about their cider slashes of course. I also love their book selection. I have gotten quite a few cookbooks from here as well as a book on Ghost Hunting in Michigan. I love the variety of other foods such as: jellies, honey, dip sauce mixes, etc. Love this place!

We randomly came here while in town. The place is hidden between some buildings, but the donuts were really good!I give it 4 stars because they didn’t have gallons of cider as advertised, and the lady wasn’t the make friendly.

Oh My Heavens! Amazing blueberry donuts. Correction...ALL the donuts are YUMMY! Neat little craft/decor selection. Bought a bar of goat milk soap. Decent selection and price which I found of most of the products being sold. Nice seating for having coffee.

They press cider on site! Yummy! The scent of apples and baking apples fills the air. The cider and pumpkin doughnuts​ are devine and always fresh. My favorite treats are the apple pies and apple pocket pies! The flavors are bright!They carry unique gifts, including old fashioned toys, jams/jellies, flavorful dip mixes, handmade crafts finished or kits, puzzles, "Michigan" gifts, and a nice collection of unusual cookbooks. My granddaughters favorite cookbook is the "Disgustingly Delicious."
