Rigoni's Bakery is home to a perfect UP pasty and so many chewy, tender, sweet cookies! Breads look incredible and the specialty pastry items like the bear claw are Yupper style.The pasty is filling and hot. Potatoes, beef and onion are wrapped in a warm, browned blanket of baked flour-love. are almost always hot and ready. You can order frozen ones with other ingredients, including the beloved rutabaga! The decor is a simple small town bakery with staff that smiled for miles! Stop in a get something they make sweet or Pasty! Great selection of regular sodas and specialty flavors! Thanks for the smiles and great lunch!

Simple but wonderful! The base pasty (beef, potato, onion) is excellent. Hot and fresh from their ovens, so enjoy them right away. Also an amazing bakery with breads and sweets stuff.

My mom brought me here on our little vacation, and I am glad she did. Everyone in my party got a pasty. They got me to try one, and honestly, it wasn't for me. They really liked them though. They were hot and the pastry was cooked well. I know they're a local favorite. Just not for me and that's ok. We also tried the apple turn over and almond joy cookies. They were SO tasty. Definitely satiated my sweet tooth. They also have a variety of different sodas. They were yummy and unexpected. My favorite part was the extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. They got pretty busy in that little shop and they worked together seamlessly to sever their customers.. I also enjoyed the fact that they had some seating to enjoy your treats at. I'd go back. Thank you guys so much.

One of first towns I hit when I arrived in the UP so naturally I had to find a pasty and this place came up with strong reviews. Friendly counter service and nice interior, smelled great too! The pasties both were on the bland side, guess I was expecting bigger flavors but nothing really punched through, they had a great dough though. The donut I got was oily and not crispy.

A traditional pasty has rutabaga and carrot and the dough is just flour and lard. These are mid level pasties and mine tasted as if it had lingered not in a oven but a warmer for far too long. Senseless chatter and nonsense was the topic of conversation. Plus the person serving wasn't following the rules( hygiene) and had no gloves on. All I can say is you get what you pay for. Go to the other pasty shop in town.

Being of Cornish decent Pasties have always been a part of my diet. I remember my Grandmother, then my Aunts and then my Mom, and I have even made them here in WV. Myhusband and I saw Rigoni on Fox and Friends and immediately ordered a dozen Cornish Pasties. We received the Pasties in a week's time, shipping was great arrived still frozen. Immediately my husband and I baked one each for dinner (saving the others for the holidays). So delicious took me back to my childhood, they were just like my Grandmother made, and our family enjoyed on a regular basis. I remember when the Pasties were done cooking they were wrapped in newspaper warm and packed to take to Belle Isle for a picnic. Thank you Rigoni for the great Pasties and for stirring up the memories, oh also ordered the cut-out Christmas Cookies arrived fresh and also delightful.

Delicious pastries - tried the Chocolate covered Bavarian cream (pretty sure it was filled with fresh whipped cream, so good!) and just cut into this Raspberry cheesecake filled donut! So yummy! I also bought a few breakfast and original pasties. Haven't tried them yet but I have high hopes. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through Ironwood!

Great bakery and great prices. Pasty’s were hot, moist and deliciously flaky crust. Had a regular and breakfast pasty’s.Had a great variety of bottled craft sodas and coffee choices. Loved the remodel with the cheerful light colors (Was here 10 years ago) Easy to find from the road and great service with patience in deciding since so many choices before me 😁💕

This was just a random stop for us, and we’re we lucky! We ordered a pasty to go and some other goodies & everything was awesome! We also had another pasty from another place to compare & this one won hands-down. Make a point to stop here if you can. They also have some awesome stickers and shirts!

A local shop owner told us to stop to here for a breakfast to go, and the breakfast Pasty did not let us down! Warm, toasty, and full of egg, sausage, veggies, potatoes, etc (w/ ketchup!). Better than any breakfast you'd get at a fast food location. Well worth the stop for just the Pasty, but they have cabinets full of delicious looking danishes and sweets as well. Take the time to get off the highway and stop at this gem- you won't be disappointed!

I ordered 3 hot traditional pasties, 3 frozen ones, 2 frozen sausage pizzas, 2 cookies, 1 donut, 1 hard roll, and a loaf of Italian bread. From the top!The pasty is easily the best I have ever had. The crust was tender, not dry, and easily cutable with a fork. The filling was seasoned perfectly and did not rely on gravy to make it good.The frozen pizza cooked in about 11 minutes and came out crispy with great flavor. I absolutely loved it and we were glad we bought 2.The cookies did not make it out of the store and by store, I mean the line to pay. Not doughy, slightly crisp, lots of happiness.The donut was demolished by my son as I have never seen him do that to anything before. I am assuming he loved it by the fact he hasn't stop talking about it.The hard roll, biggest surprise, I should have bought 10 of em. Crusty with a tender center.The Italian bread was taken back to our lodging and we dipped it in olive oil and pepper. Loved it.We will be back in a few days and will take pictures then.

Firstly, this family run bakery has extremely friendly and kind customer service! I had a pasty for the first time today and it was AMAZING!! Definitely give them a try, they were delicious. Also, I had a chocolate cake donut which was hands down probably the best donut I’ve had ever, like ever. You should definitely stop when in Ironwood!

Love this bakery!!! We live in Wisconsin and with the covid situation going on we don't travel but we had a surprise package of cookies show up today! Even through the mail these cookies are so soft and delicious! The kids are beyond excited! Just something brightens our day more! What a spectacular bakery 💕
