The people who are staffing this store are fantastic. I have made two trips to get items for my vacation cabin and both times the staff were great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Directed me to the items I needed and went with me to make sure I got the right items. I am amazed that with so few people willing to work these days that Bihari has such a great staff.

Paula made my day by donating two contractor bags to my wife and I to use as rain covers for our backpacking trip while passing through town. our Ace Hardware is by far the best hardware supply store I've ever been in, their on hand supply of household hardware, tools, paint and more is equivalent to a small Menards, but their customer service is unmatched. They're knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair, lawn and garden, and so much more. I've never walked in with a problem and left without a solution, if they don't know the answer, or the way to fix something, they know how to find it, and will go out of their way to do so.

Although this place is a little pricey Im glad they are here nearby to have most things you could need for household or hardware items. However the gardening section leaves ALOT to be desired.They do not have anything Ive ever looked for. Nothing but shelves full of miracle grow garbage and special flower fertilizers.I have looked 3 different times for a belt for my lawnmower and its the only size they seem to skip and not have.I have looked at shoes and boots at least a dozen times and like all the brands they sell. However again they NEVER have anything that I would wear in my size.My general attitude leaving this store is usually disappointed I wasted my time stopping in and looking or I got what I absolutely needed in some form but felt like I overpaid. Many times I needed little things and they arent open(1980s hours at this store) so I was forced to drive to home depot in iron mt.

Hours are for the late rizers not open until 8. Not good for any tradesmen in the area. They have a lot of stuff for sure but not much of anything you need to get the job done. Plumbing is outdated pex selection and shark bit selection is slim. Paint is good. Gardening over priced and did I mention they don't open until 8. It's worth it for me to go to hd because they open at 6.

This is one of best places in the UP. They have everything! If they don't have it in stock,a truch delivers twice a week! But this place is BIGGEST Ace hardware in 200+ miles! You name it,they have it. Or the owner,Tim will get it. Friendliest people,knowledgeable, curtious,whats not to love??

Most of the time, I try to avoid this place. Hours are terrible, pricing is based on selling ice water to people in the desert (super expensive), and I normally have to search for someone to help me. This visit was different. An employee named Mike helped me. I wish there were more Mikes that worked there. He was very helpful and shared his knowledge. Thank you, Mike!

This place has been completely redone on the inside to give space to people due to Covid19. Highly impressed and the best part is that EVERYTHING is easy to find! You will love it here! I wish they had one in Grand Rapids!

A few days ago I called Ace in Iron River Mi and asked if they had potatoes for planting. A man said " yes", and then a woman confirmed it. So I hurried up to the store, and it so happened that the potatoes were not out on the shelves yet and not priced. I was disappointed and upset because I came all the way from Indian Lake (40 min. drive) just for this item. Nobody wished to help me, and decided never shop this store again ( and my friends either). But a miracle happened - a cashier named PEGGY went out of her way to please me: she found the bags of planting potatoes in the back of the store, opened them for me, let me choose what I wanted, and with some difficulty found their price. I am so thankful to her! She saved my day! She deserves a reward from the store management!Anna Volovik
