Good selection if you don’t mind paying a 30% premium on most things. You have to watch what you are charged because prices often scan higher than they are marked. Good for meat. The bakery used to be excellent until Covid. They changed prices and ingredients on several things to make more money. Items that used to cost .99 now cost $2.50. Inflation is no excuse for the exorbitant prices. Update, they overcharged on an advertised item again.

I tried to get hired here because the staff seemed really nice but they rejected me and didn’t even give me a chance so I’m not gonna shop here anymore. I’m taking my business elsewhere. I really don’t appreciate taking my time and consideration into putting an application in and not getting an answer as to why I’m not a good fit.

I'm not sure I've ever been so impressed with a grocery store in a town the size of Interlochen as I've been with Tom's! The store is well laid out, everything is clean and neat and the employees are helpful and funny. Their selection is vast and varied and the prices at Tom's are pretty good as well.With Tom's being so close to the world famous Interlochen Center for the Arts, they stock a wide variety of items from all around the globe that you normally wouldn't find in a store their size, all to make the international students at the Center for the Arts feel more at home! That is brilliant and shows real community spirit I believe.All in all, the next time you're passing through Interlochen or staying to see a show at the Center for the Arts, which I highly recommend, you really should stop in at Tom's and take a wander up and down their isles, you too will be impressed...

It's a decently stocked, slightly overpriced market. I do like talking to the super nice people behind the hot food counter. The baked chicken is quite good. For us that work at Interlochen, it's a decent place to shop. I do wish that prices were a bit lower.

Good selection here, including their own bakery. Parking lot is in good shape and large sized, store is clean, employees were busy stocking and cleaning, overall a good grocery store.Not gonna lie, prices are high for items not found on sale, but this is a tourist area and in the middle of summer when I visited.

It’s a great grocery store for Interlochen! Has a lot of options which is great because the closest big retail store like Meijer is about a 20 minute drive away. Staff are always very helpful! Plenty of parking and easy access from the road.

I shop at many grocery stores thru the year. I mostly come to your store. Did you know that I have looked and can only find Campbell’s Cream of Asparagus soup at your store? Now, if you could get Stouffer‘s Welsh Rarebit that would be perfect!Thanks so much Teresa

Great curbside service, decent selection, and the associates could not be nicer. Wish I could give this Tom’s Market 5 stars but feel they could be stocked a bit better, would like to see some healthier choices to choose from, and they need to get McCormick’s Salad Supreme on their shelves.

Overall they had a decent selection of food and the customer service was good but the conditioning was not at all up to standard. And when asking for cash back it took the workers around 5 minutes to figure out who was going to give us our money. Along with that the displays were much to close together, and there was an ease of movement throughout the store. I was honestly kind of disappointed because the store looks nice from the outside but has many flaws in the inside.

It's par and the customer service is ok.The store needs a huge reset team to come in. The Deli is small and has generic cold cuts. I thought Boars Head would be up here by now.All though it's an older store it's a nice quick stop snack store.

Nice local grocery store with good, fresh selection, fair prices and clean. The cashier and bagger was friendly and efficient. Some items were low supply or out of stock but it was a Monday evening near the end of tourist season. Will return when staying in the area

Staff was friendly & helpful. Store was clean & organized well. Shelves were being restocked after a busy weekend. Found most everything we were looking for. A great place to stop & gather last minute items for camping at Interlochen State Park!

Great store, friendly staff as always. This is only useful during COVID, but all staff members wear masks, and properly, no faceshields. They have enough people on that there aren't any lines, even with good business. Very clean environment (can see employees keeping up and being diligent), very confidence inspiring. Keep up the great work guys! Thank you for everything!

Bright, clean, well stocked with quality products and MANY locally produced items... But the effort to force you to self-check out is just unacceptable! I refuse to bow to corporate America and the downsizing of local jobs!!! If I'm expected to perform my own employee-type tasks then I expect employee benefits and discounts!

Convenient stop close to Interlochen corners. Great for picking up a few items on your way home from work. Clean store with friendly employees. Prices can run a little high, so I wouldn't recommend purchasing your week's worth of groceries here.

I’ve never had a any issues returning cans/bottles at Tom’s until today. During covid there was a 25$ limit and still today however I’ve been told by another employee (short younger lady) at the service counter that it’s not a problem unless people are waiting to return cans behind you. I have had many trips that have exceeded 25$. Today was the same, but we had a purchase of beer today too. Meg cashed us out today and let us know that there was a 25$ limit. I told her that another employee told me that it wasn’t a big deal and that they could do separate transactions and she replied with “well within reason.” I stated that we can do separate transactions then. And she called me out at the counter for being rude, which I was not at all.I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years and never have I ever called someone out for “being rude” to their face (whether they are or aren’t). Ever. And I could never imagine doing that to someone either. We ended up walking out with only 15$ more than the 25$ limit (which I would think would fall under “within reason”).Toms is so convenient because it is right by our house but I will not be returning because of how I was treated today.

For not having a Meijer, Kroger, or Walmart around, Tom’s sufficed. Everything was higher priced but that’s what you get when you shop local. No cart corrals outside, but parking was plenty. Deli counter had a lovely employee who made good conversation, but we didn’t talk to anyone else. Love that they carry lots of main brand items and I see that they have “new” signs all over which means it’s getting to a good place.

Totally respectable everyday grocery store in the heart of Interlochen, Michigan. All your garden variety groceries. Solid prices. Decent selection of craft beers. Excellent delicatessen with an appropriate selection if locally produced goods. The bonus was the late model Chevy blasting some sweet Toby Kieth music. I shuffled my way into the store and never looked back.
