I love this place so much! I’ve used them before with my older dogs. This time I used them for my VERY hyper puppy. I had flight issues and they were more than ok to keeping her longer. I felt so comfortable with them taking my puppy Mavis. The workers are so nice! Mavis will definitely be back! Thank you guys so much I needed that peace of mind! Mavis thanks you too! :)

Great place for your dog boarding daycare or overnight the staff is great and they know my Dog Mickey by name. He's been going there ever since he was 3 months old. He's a Labrador, German shepherd, rockwilder mix with Hound also.

I love this place my doggie Nico is a little needy and hyper. He’s always a happy guy when we pick him up. The groomer is amazing as well I highly recommend!!

We just picked our animal up this morning and she has an issue with her eye. This place dismissed it as an allergy and expected full payment. We had a simple request to keep our dog away from others. We were never able to see her on the webcam so no real way to determine that, but the dismissive nature in which we were given our dog back, leads me to believe these instructions weren’t followed.Now, we have a vet bill after boarding our dog here. The first stop after picking up a pet after being boarded should not be the vet.NEVER again will we use this place.

TERRIBLE GROOMING!! Staff is friendly but the groomer is awful. This is the 2nd time they’ve done a poor job on my mini schnauzer. He will not be going back. I asked for schnauzer cut with hooded eyebrows and a short skirt. As you can see, my dog has NO definition or skirt at all! It’s like they took the clippers and shaved him completely down. He even has bald spots on his chest! Aside from the beard, which was poorly done as well, he doesn’t look like a schnauzer. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

These guys speak dog. They took very good care of my dog, once on short notice. My dog is happy at pickup having been able to play with his buds the way dogs play. They were conscientious about giving meds. The reason for the 4 stars is that grooming took place without my request. Other than that they did well.

Owner and staff were kind patient and understanding with my reactive Rottweiler. They accommodate dogs who are not social to other dogs by letting them go out solo. Rosie seemed to have a good stay. Thank you!

This is an overall best dog daycare I’ve ever seen. I felt like my puppy Chico has had a hard time adjusting with dogs and this place helped him become more social and happy. The workers make you feel taken care of and are super professional. I would 100% recommend this location for your pets!

Horrible customer service. I was in the middle of asking question in regards if they had any rederences to rabies quarantine, and whomever I was speaking to hung up on me. She also gave me the incorrect advice, and didn't care that she did.I have also boarded my doggie here before, and she had diarrhea for two weeks after I brought her home.Terrible people to keep a dog or to even ask questions!

Just picked up Bruno after a couple days at Pet Suite Retreat. I feel so good about leaving my pup with this facility knowing that he is going to have a safe, comfortable, and fun time. The staff are very friendly and you can tell they truly care for your animal.

I have been using Pet Suite Retreat since 2014. When, I first became a customer the staff did give me a tour. (I am sure if you ask they would gladly give one.) My first dog Jezebel would go there for boarding when I went away on trips, we never had any issues, she loved going. I do recommend if you bring your dog for overnights to bring their bed. Even when Jezebel had to be on medications, I felt secure with leaving her, the staff toke time to acknowledge her needs. In 2020 I rescued my current puppy Elkin, and knew I wanted him to go to this daycare. With my work schedule and traveling Elkin has been to the daycare for the day countless times and tons of overnight visits. Gail trims his nail when I request, and does a great job. The staff is always so friendly, Elkin knows when we are heading to the daycare, and is so happy and excited when we arrive. I would highly recommend this place.

So happy that we decided to board our dog Grimm here. The staff was great, Grimm was very happy there. I called and checked on him and from what they said Grimm was a big sweet heart that everybody just loved and he got to play with some big dogs too (he is a 100lb puppy)! Will definitely be coming back here 5 stars for sure!

A very good kennel and doggy daycare even for a dog as finicky as mine (even though he is still the best dog ever). Decent accommodations although not plush, a good area for the dogs to run. Great customer service in every visit I've had. Strong grooming department even for doggos with extensive needs. Prices seem decent. So far I've been very impressed.

My mom has a German Shepard that has really high anxiety. He has been unsuccessful in several puppy courses and has not been able to be put into boarding. This is the ONLY place that has been a success for my family. They are amazing and he looks forward to going there. I recommend this place for loving owners and their pups.

I really like this place. We have used it for quite a few years, and really have never had any problems. The dogs are never afraid to go there, and in fact, the more friendly one gets very happily excited to visit her friends there. The only down side is that I think their "rooms" are quite bare - be sure to bring a blanket/rug for them - and the dogs come back smelling quite doggy. But I have always been able to reserve a spot, and staff are very good.

My Sister has always taken her Pet's there for a long time. Have a Wonderful Staff and the Dog's love it as well. They all remember 🐶Mufassa, 🐶Molly, 🐶Ginger who love going there as well. They have all pass on. My Sister still has 1 other 🐶dog that always Enjoys his self. Clean and smells Good. Love the Awesome, Fantastic staff. Thanks again for all your help with 🐶Ginger. 🆗🆒💯🐶💗🙋

We have been using Pet Suite Retreat for over eight years; mostly extended, overnight, stays. The staff are friendly & thoughtful, care about the dogs and work hard. Our dog becomes super excited when he is going 'on vacation' (he can tell based on what we pick up), he enjoys socializing with other dogs and comes home tired and healthy. No hesitation in making a recommendation.

My dog was boarded over night back in July and he came home with a Kennel Cough. This has never happened when he was boarded in the Allen Park VA Hospital Kennel. He has ALL his shots. Also, I read one of the reviews stating they didn't know what the kennels looked like-they weren't offered a view. Well, join me on that one-I wasn't offered either. Won't take my dog back here-I hear horrible stories of dogs getting out and going across Michigan (on more than one account). Surprised they are not closed down.

We brought our dog to Pet Suite retreat twice, choosing to put him up in a room rather than a boarding crate. He has some anxiety and we were still in the middle of crate training him (adopted around age 3). Our first visit seemed to go fine.The second time around, we carefully labeled his food and portioned it out for each day, just as before. They were dismissive about food and said it was "no big deal" when we went over it with them. We ignored the heavy amount of indoor smoking around dogs and the M&Ms in a dog dish on the counter and hoped for the best, as we had set plans out of town.When we picked him up and brought him home, he was overly anxious and constipated for more than 24 hours. When he did go, it was a strange orange color. It took over a week for it to return to normal. To this day, he will not go into his crate, he seems terrified of it. Because of this, we're suspicious that he was moved into a crate after we left him, even though we paid extra for him to have his own room, and that he was fed unusual food. We will not be returning, which is unfortunate because there aren't many other options close to home.

My dogs (4 over the years) have all been very excited & happy to go here, so I know they love it & are treated well. They get to play with other dogs for 20 minutes every hour or are let out in a private area if not social. It is also very clean.

I went on vacation for 5 days picked up CoCo our Shepard/Husky Mix 9 month old pup on the 6th day. Of course she was happy to see us when we finally picked her up; I could tell she was different some how [less barking was the major difference I noticed]. This was CoCo's 1st time away from us since we got her @ 2 months old in February; when we finally made it home & she sniffs around a bit CoCo had an accident on the kitchen floor she briefly forgot her potty place so she was reintroduced to our ways & she's been great. I would recommend this pet boarding facility to anyone that asks; while we were away I tried to access the webcam feature to check on CoCo with no luck this is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars other than that it's CoCo's new home away from home & i have no worries she'll be cared for.

The staff was great. We were able to leave our 3 birds there while on vacation. Unlike many other places, our birds were left in the open and had human interaction and they were allowed to be out of the cage a little bit each day. We will use them again!

They took great care of Dakota. This was her first stay and was nervous. They put her with other dogs that would help keep her calm. They were kind and reassuring when I called to check on her. Highly recommend!!

I brought my dog here for a tour because it was one of few places I found that offered webcams and I wanted to see my pup while on vacation. I asked about the webcams several times and it was brushed off. I was told "some people can figure out how to use it, some cant." And it "only works sometimes." After leaving I called the webcam service provider (still on their website). It turns out they didn't renew their subscription for the webcam service almost two years ago. I wish I was just told that it's no longer offered. It's a small detail but honesty is key for somewhere I am leaving my dog.I also saw the review about the dog that got out and was hit by a car. While I was touring, several dogs were able to open a fence from one section to another. The staff showed me how each fence has a snap hook ring on them to secure them but that some of them are old and loose and that's why the dogs can take them off. Yes, there are several filters of fences. But that left me totally uneasy after learning that dogs have gotten out before. Dogs are smart. Please add more security to your fences

I didn't like the comment under my last review 😕. I'm sorry I was under my Google account with my maiden name. My dog blu Rush got picked up last night I used a gift card that I just opened the package up as I was walking in to pick him up then not only 2 hours later I got a charge for $97 dollars from Nordstrom then a $3 dollar one to a PayPal. So go at your own risk, but they will steal money from you if they have an opportunity, too.

My wife and I bring our Azula here. We usually get the buy 7 get 8 package. If you're someone who frequently drops off their fur baby for daycare, it's well worth it! Azula gets lots of play time. She is always tuckered out when she gets home. At this point she is familiar with the words "Day Care", she gets super excited. That makes my wife and I feel at ease.It takes a lot of trust to just drop off your pet or kid off to strangers even if it's a professional establishment. The staff have always been smiles and extremely polite to us. This is our experience. Everyone is different and that's okay.(Your TYPICAL 1 star is usually a disgruntled individual who is upset at a completely separate issue.)Anyways, main point, Azula loves to go here, the staff is awesome, lots of other animals for your pet to play with. 5 Stars Pet Suite Retreat, keep it up!
