Clean and well stocked. It is a small store but it seems to have a complete selection of everything. Fresh produce has gotten better. (Frankly, it seems like none of the stores have fruits that last very long, even the big chains.) I love that I can get all my grocery shopping done in a compact setting.

Place is highly recommended. I rather go here than any other grocery store. Prices are way more affordable than any other stores. there's never too much long line, and customer service is pretty good can't really complain. The store always stays well stocked and employees and customers mostly are very acceptional. Within the plaza and this store being there as long I feel this will probably be the most long lasting. So if your in the area or just stopping by give this place a chance especially if you're aiming for a quick snack.

I went to the food max on cherry hill and Inkster. I was looking for McCormick ground sage seasoning and of course they had it, it normally cost around $5.69 cents. So when I saw the price underneath it, I automatically thought it was a price mistake so I took the small container it comes in to the check out clerk for a price check and unbeknownst to me he stated that the price was correct, wait for it, $9.89, yes basically $10 🤔😱🤬 I couldn't believe it, I politely said no thank you took my business elsewhere went to Meijers and got the same McCormick ground sage for $5.69. Food max is definitely a no for me SMH!

This is my neighborhood grocery store. This place is clean, organized and they have excellent prices on ALL their meats and great weekly sales on SEVERAL different items. The fruits and vegetables here are ALWAYS fresh. The customer service is full service ( Bill pay, money orders, postage stamps, etc ) and they are attentive every time I go to shop there. Every employee is polite and helpful and the managers there are acceptional.They always feel like FAMILY.

Nice store, clean and well organized. Prices seem a bit higher than Kroger's but if if you live near like me there are times when convenience trumps pricing. I like buying meat here. They have daily unannounced specials that low-ball the other grocery stores' meat prices.

You can tell that management or the owners really care about their employees here because they're always nice, friendly and always helpful. The store is very well kept up, clean and always stocked. Anything you want or need they have it. One of my favorite grocery stores to go to. Good prices and good deals. Don't need a rewards card to get the deals the deals are for everybody.

Store is always clean whenever I shop there. Well stocked in every isle & the best selection & freshness of their meat department. The prices are very affordable which keeps me shopping there as a regular & faithful customer. The entire staff are courteous & checkouts are always accommodating.

This grocery store is by far the dirtiest place ever. I walked in and walked out. I instantly felt sick !!! I never been in a store that's HOT !!! I thought all groceries stores were cold !!! I definitely think that bacteria is airborne in this store!!! Definitely going home to zinc and vitamin c my immune system 🤧

Ridiculously HIGH but of course, it's the only closest store in the neighborhood. If you can travel, I'd highly recommend you another store.

It's an ok store not my 1st choice to go to due to the the prices are a kinda high. I expected them to be a bit lower being the neighborhood the store is in. When items are on sale/reduced They are expired or about to expire soon even the meat. I can say the store is usually clean and the employees are friendly. I just think the prices should be down a bit or offer more sales on regular everyday items.

I will never spend my money at this place again. The manager sue was completely rude to me when I was asking her question gave me the worst attitude and then I spoke to Ed, the store owner, and he continued to have Sue's back even knowing she was wrong. I seen cashiers and bagger all eating on the job with chips in there pockets and food at the registers which is extremely gross because the crumbs from there food is probly the reason they have so many bugs in the store. I constantly see employees smoking outside the building and there prices are way to high. I think they are very unprofessional and unsanitary for a food market.

After shopping there for 30 years I was highlyinsulted by a cashier that was actually fired and hired back. I will only go once a month to buy my water now. They lost a long time good customer . Will not be shopping there anymore!!

Food Max is one of my fav go to grocery stores. When shopping at larger stores I often have difficulty finding certain items that I need. Then I think “ Food Max, duh!”, and without fail, I go there and there it is. They also have some of the kindest people working there who care about there customers and take the time to have a little conversation while doing their job with ease. I applaud you Food Max, keep up the good work. 👏👏👏

If you are into checking ads and searching out deals they can be a decent place for meat and sale items. as a general rule though the prices are high and the store can smell very musty at times and it is often not especially clean. Would not go out of my way to shop there.

A little pricy and not many choices in the produce section but got some really good deals on chicken and pork. Almost turned around but glad I didn't, the meat prices made the difference. KROGER for produce, FRESH CHOICE or FOOD MAX for meat. FRESH CHOICE is always the best. Fantastic deli at FRESH CHOICE!!!
