Very cool in a funky, modest way. Retro styling, feels like a backwoods Michigan bar straight from the 70s. Right on the water too but it was already too dark to see much when we got there. DJ Elvis was playing some good music, crowd was nice, everything was cool.

Good burgers, great view of the river. Good stop for drinks and food that you can pull up right in your boat for a quick break..Parking: You can park cars, ATV's, and boats (on the river)..

This is such a cool little dive bar. Kinda reminds me of my local roller rink in a good way. We visited on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. Drinks are cheap and the shots were good. Entertainment was an Elvis impersonator, which we loved. I recommend everyone pay this place a visit if you’re passing through Indian river.

Very poor service I gave it a second try after two years and it's still just was bad. The foods great and the place is cool as long as you don't mind being treated like trash and ignored. If I beg for my food and my check I might as well go to work.Kid-friendliness: No staff to accommodate adults.

The bartenders here are my all time favorite and I like to think of them as friends. They're sweet and kind but don't take any sh*t, just the way they should be! Also, the owner "Alvis" is super awesome and a great guy.This place is cozy and relaxing yet fun to be in and I go ever so often to get out of the house and unwind.

First off, I feel bad for the owner and the cook. The bartender that was bartending this afternoon was drunk, she was making shots for herself and locals that came in and not charging for them, her and her friends are drinking the prophets, she was only attentive to her friends, she is a terrible bartender. The very nice cook took our order, and then had to get her attention so we could cash out. There was a very loud obnoxious drunk patron that decided he was going start a fight in the bar, it wasn't even 3pm. The place is run down and dingey. You need bar rescue!!! The bartender had long black hair, I think the cook called her Kelly.

We pulled up & not to be mean or judgemental but I have never ever said as soon as I pulled up to a place I am not going in there. But I did it today. The pics are somewhat deceiving. This place is a dive like I've not seen in 30 yrs.

Great pizza. Its a bar but don't let that detour you from going. Definetely a local hang out. It was worth the 30 minute drive from Mackinaw City. Had Medium pizza, wife had a mix drink I had two Heinekens and it was only 22 dollars. Best for my money while on vacation.

What a place! My friends and I were visiting the area for LDW and decided to give the Pinehurst Inn a try for a quick dinner and some drinks - we ended up staying a few hours. It was not quite what I was expecting, but we loved it. It's a dive and filled with locals. The pizza was great, drinks were cheap, and we were able to play some pool and enjoy the evening out on the patio. Alvis was a great treat and had us all laughing. Would recommend if you are visiting the area.

I love this place. It is a combination riverside dive and neighborhood bar. Very old building (former hotel) that slants and leans here and there. Bathrooms are an event not to be described but are scrupulously clean. Summer boaters tie up at the wall for lunch or dinner. Locals stop for food and/or a drink with acquaintances. A LOT of local color while still being a place a woman alone can feel safe.Very decent bar food and truly excellent pizza.The establishment usually hosts a holiday community dinner for anyone who wants to attend. The owner, an Elvis buff, occasionally dons a white Elvis costume and gives out with Elvis songs in the evening.

crazy how they think making unauthorized transactions on random people's cards is okay. called and they claimed they didn't know a thing until I knew exactly what they ordered, then all of a sudden the line cuts off? you know what's also crazy? I have an address, a phone number, and a name now :)

First:If I could give this 0 stars I would.April the bartender tried to double charge me and Lisa who doesn't even work there tried to tell me to leave because I'm not paying twice.I asked why she wasn't paying attention and about cameras and why she wasn't watching her bar or her money. A waitress gets paid by people 'leaving money' on the table. If you don't check your tables, the customer is not liable to pay twice. Don't go here, they steal from you.Bad service, Bad people, and thieves.

No shoes, no shirt, no problem. Different type of clientele. Food was great, service was alright. Elvis knew some real frontier jiberish. Place will burn down someday. Did you see the heater near the woman's bathroom?
