Walked in 5/24/23, around 6:30pm- quiet darkish place, we took two steps in and the stink was overwhelming. We could not agree if it was cigarettes or a zoo cage smell but, no way I could eat with that smell being so strong so we walked right back out. Did not see a greeter or anything like that.

Prime rib was dry, overcooked, flavorless. Was told by the waitress that I could get salad or chili with the prime rib, then was charged an extra $2 for the chili at checkout which was inappropriate. Would have just gotten salad in that case, as the chili was not even remotely worth the up charge and I wasn’t told beforehand. Was never offered a drink refill, either and had to ask for silverware. I can see where this place might be good for the small town it’s in, but it’s not good enough to come back. I won’t be dropping by again; feels like I just flushed $20 down the toilet.

Are here for the first time a few days ago. The omelette was massive and excellent. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. The only thing I would caution about is the gravy is HEAVILY peppered. If you don't like heat or pepper,don't order it. I personally loved it.

We stopped in on a whim and glad we did. We all ordered breakfast food. The food was really good and plentiful. You must try the homemade cinnamon rolls! They melt in your mouth. Our waitress was also wonderful! Very kind and attentive. We will definitely go back.

Food was fresh and delicious! Owner was super friendly and also the cook! He gave a couple of dollars to the children to play the arcade games (they won!) Very nice, cozy, family oriented restaurant!

Awesome dinner! Great menu selections, daily specials and breakfast is always available! The folks that run the place are very welcoming. ( We love that the chairs are on rolling wheels so you can just zip on over to a neighboring table for a visit with friends!) Prices are very reasonable, food is excellent. If you are lucky enough to be there when pulled pork is the special...order it!!! You won't be sorry!

First time customer here today. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I had the country fried steak dinner. It was ok. I think the grant is what made it only ok. I just didn't like the flavor. The seasoning was off. Nerve the floor taste want cooked out enough. I couldn't place it.I'd go back for another try but I won't get the country gravy.

We took our 2 year old daughter for breakfast one day. We didn't order her anything because my wife and I were just going to share off of our plates. Much to our surprise, the chef/ owner made her a Mickey mouse pancake (free of charge). Mid way through our meal our daughter was starting to get fussy so the server/ owner took her to look at the fish tank so my wife and I could finish our meal. All told; great people, outstanding service, and excellent food!!!

I absolutely love this place. Great destination on 2 wheels. If they had a single flaw... it would be that they don't have their homemade beef soup every day. Best I've ever had. 🥣

We stopped there because every other fish place was jam packed.(friday during Lent) My husband said he had eaten breakfast there before and it was good. We sat down, as it was "seat yourself". It took awhile for someone to come to our table. Waitress was friendly but seemed busy, as she was checking people out, checking out takeout orders, waiting tables etc. I asked for water with lemon, was only given water. We got fish and chips, which was pretty good. My salad was lettuce on a plate with 1 slice of tomato and a very different tasting ranch dressing, not bad, but not what I consider restaurant ranch. We asked for extra tarter sauce, but never got it. Waitress never even remembered that she forgot to give us some. Waitress was nice, but with her tables she had was overwhelmed. (I believe there were 5 tables she was waiting on) It seems she spent alot of time at the cash register figuring it out. At one point the cook? owner? came out and asked us what kind of pie we wanted as its included in the meal. We didnt want any so my husband paid and we left. Would I go back? Nah.

Had prime rib, should have gone to Michigan Bar and Grill. The waitress spilled rib juice on my lap.There was no steak knife offered. Ordered it rare, it was well done. In layman terms, we're NOT going back.

Had a BLT. was a special for the day, but it sure took a long time. However, it was in the midst of their busy lunch hour. And I asked for the bacon extra crispy n bread not toasted. It was VERY good. Definitely worth waiting for plenty of bacon and tomatoes. Sloppy, but delicious!

The menu is great and the prices are very reasonable. The food for breakfast and dinner was really good.The service has been friendly the few times I have been there. This restaurant is a great addition to Ida. Glad to see it up and running!

Horrible work experience. This man smokes over his grill, leaves blood all over his kitchen, like to touch his workers, etc. I could go on for ages but I walked out after my shift and would never be a returning customer. I have never seen such horrible work conditions, topped off by horrible ownership.

Drove by 1 day and decided to try for breakfast. Waitresses were friendly and the food was great. It's definitely a 'small town' vibe. We loved it and will definitely be back!
