Stayed for a weekend of side by side riding. Cabins were very clean and comfortable. The owner was attentive to all our needs and answered questions we had. Location is close to a restaurant/bar. The American Legion is very close. Easy access to trails and have fuel available on sight for guests. If we ride this side of UP again we will definitely be back.

I can't say enough good things about this place. You get an adorable cabin to stay in, the property is beautiful, and the owners are hands down two of the best people you're ever going to meet. I was here for my wedding, we had the ceremony in one of the pastures and it was beautiful. Over a month later and I am still getting stopped by people telling me how beautiful the ceremony was. Jennifer (who owns Sno Shu) gave up entire days of her time to ensure this wedding went off without a hitch. She provided extra decorations, an archway, and chair covers she had freshly laundered and sealed. She helped with every aspect of the decorating for the ceremony and also the reception, fixed things before we were even aware a problem had arisen, and was honestly more prepared for everything than I was (she was far more organized too lol). Not only is this just a great place to stay for a summer or winter vacation but if you are looking to have a wedding, a festival, a reunion, anything this is an absolute must see venue. There is more than meets the eye just driving by this place.Nearby activities: The snowmobile (winter) or side by side (summer) trail is literally right out of their parking area. The local bar has great food and drinks as well as whitetail deer viewing right out it's windows, multiple lakes nearby from lake Superior, Hulbert lake, soldiers lake, etc.

Fantastic cabins. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Resort was perfect for our week of side by side riding. ORV trails are very close and easy to get to. Owners are fantastic and treated us and our 4 legged kid like family. The Snow Shu is now on our yearly places to visit list. Thank you Jen for all of your hospitality.

Now Sno Shu inn is the place to be for a quit vacation, you are living inside a forest, the view from the room window will be on the forest side.now Jeniffer is the owner and she is super super nice person to talk to, to be a guide and she will go up and down for you so you can have a great vacation.we took the AP cabin( apartment) , what ever you want you can find it inside, it is like you are at home. Now the cabin is sooooooo cosy and beautiful made and all in wood. the place is magical and it is only 25 min far from Newberry and 30 min from the Tahquamenon falls, be notices that there is no gas station or supermarket arround, you need to frive 30 miles to Newberry so you can get those services. my family has an amazing time and this is not my last visit for sure. i want ti visit at winter time to enjoy winter there.Rooms: very cosy winter cabins.

Great hotel option with a great location. It’s centrally located so you can quickly get to a lot of UP sites from here. The inn itself it great. All the rooms are separate cabins that are very nice and good size. There is a lot of land on the property so you can go for a walk in the woods. There’s a fire and grilling area with a fun outdoor games as well. Town is not far away, so with a short walk you can get a bite to eat or a drink as well. Overall a nice quiet place to stay.

Superb experience! This cozy little resort is nestled in the small town of Hulbert. Perfect location for driving to all the UP sights.Our cabin was clean and the resort as a whole was in tip top shape. The owner, Jennifer, was extremely friendly and you could tell she had a passion for hospitality.As a morning person, I had no problems falling asleep early as the resort was so peaceful.

We rented 4 wheelers, did not stay as we were farther away elsewhere. These folks are great, very friendly and professional. We had a blast on the trails and will most definitely rent for trail riding again, and stay if a cabin is available. The property looked great and the cabins looked really nice. This was my first UP vacation and I wasn’t aware of this place until after I made arrangements elsewhere. I will be planning a stay here in the future. They have the coolest dog around too, Scout, hope you get to meet him as he is so friendly and playful.

We stayed for a weekend double family mini vacation. Jennifer was an amazing hostess and so nice and helpful!! It is a very peaceful place to relax and unwind after a long day traveling and exploring. This was mine and my kids first time to the Upper Peninsula and it was definitely a great time and lots of memories made.Our kids had a great time and can't wait to go back to the cabin. We will definitely stay longer next time.

We found this place last minute and wow what a steal! It has super cute and cozy cabins and a beautiful pavilion with a stone fireplace in the middle and lounge chairs. It has yard games and it has side by sides you can ride for the day or for a couple of days and there are trails all over! The bar is right up the road as well. The host Jennifer is very friendly and she has two dogs that love to play with other dogs. We will be back thank you! Thank you

Loved this little hidden gem so much we couldn't wait to come back, and already booked our next getaway in a cpl of weeks. Clean, so cute and rustic but still with all the necessities. The owners made us feel so welcome, and gave us some great tips on off the beaten path places to visit. If you want the true UP experience this is perfect. If you want city life up North keep going to Marquette lol.

(9/9/21) We rented a 2-seater side by side for one day, they had the side by side ready and waiting for us, provided maps of trails and added their own tips and opinions on where to go/eat/fill up.. we decided about 3/4 way through the day to rent again the next day, we were able to keep the same machine with no issues. They are wonderful people and so very kind. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning in the future!! Thank you for providing such a wonderful and fun thing to do!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was so peaceful and a beautiful area. Jennifer is a great host, with bonfire pits, wood provided, games, movies, etc. We stayed in the apartment and loved our kitchen, porch, and living room. The rooms are clean and cozy. I can't wait to stay here again.

I must say I had the Time of My Life! the cabin was so clean and fully stocked we did not need to bring anything but our food that we wanted to prepare. The staff was so friendly and polite! I was ready to book my next day before I left! It really felt like a home away from home. It is right in the middle of everything that you could possibly want to do. An excellent place to stay especially if you're staying long-term.

Very cute and clean. Jessica was extremely accommodating and welcoming! Very pleased with our decision to stay there. Full size kitchen, plenty of room, all you needed to bring was yourself, clothes and food, practically everything else provided, walking trails, 4 wheeler rentals, pretty views, quiet and peaceful! We will be returning!

Had a great time snowmobiling at the Sno Shu. Trail is right across the street. The host was very accommodating. She had the wood stove going when we arrived and also when we got off the trail at the end of the day. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to doing this again.

Really great experience here at Sno Shu. Jennifer is super welcoming, and our cabin was really clean and beyond cozy for a nice midweek getaway! We did also rent snowmobiles which was a great experience. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The cabins are very neat and clean. The facility offers ATV rentals, kayaks. There is an awesome common fire pit, along with yard games! We stayed over for a couple of nights and will defiantly be back next year!

Jennifer is such an amazing host! Always fresh linens and clean cabins. She keeps coffee stocked, each cabin has mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, beds, shower, bathroom and wood stove for those cold michigan nights. She has a nice fire ring behind the cabins with a large field for your pets to run off energy! She also sells bags of ice!!!! My only complaint, her cabins book fast and sometimes we aren't able to get a cabin.

What a charming and wonderful place to stay. Everything is there from the towels and bed sheets to the coffee, creamer and sugar. Completely stocked kitchen (dinner ware, cups, pots, etc). Marge and Todd are incredibly gracious and keep the place well maintained. Close to everything you would want to do it the upper peninsula. Enjoyed our stay and will return.

One of the best glamping trips I've done! Better than we expected. The property was clean and well maintained and the cabin was so cute and cozy (cabin 3 was awesome!). Everything was supplied, we hardly needed anything we brought other than food and our personal belongings. Margy and Todd were very hospitable and warm and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer.. definitely want to come back! Close to Taqhuamenon falls, made for a great day trip. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful staff, and the cabin was perfect for two couples.Wood was restocked daily and the cabins and staff are dog friendly. Location is central to a lot of the attractions in this part of the UP.The Hulbert Inn serves a great breakfast right down the road too.
