Super cute vintage ice cream shop. The upstairs is a fun place to hang out with your favorite friends or a favorite book. Fun atmosphere. While there is limited seating inside, outside, there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your ice cream treat. Also available is a hot food menu, including hot dogs. All this sweetness is located in the heart of Jamestown, MI.

Hugh sundae, reasonable prices. Perfect variety. Lots of seating inside & outside. Had a chocolate brownie sundae it was excellent! Great place to sit outside & relax with your favorite frozen treat!Service was good.

So lucky to have The Little Dipper in our community! The affogato is my personal favorite but I also like the banana split. Our kids like the glaciers and super scoop. Wide selection and they have a cozy space upstairs to play games and leisurely eat your ice-cream. 5 starts always!

Wonderful! Had a mocha cappuccino flurry and loved it. Great hot dog. The others with in our group also really liked the hot chocolate and tea. Great place. The owner is delightful and friendly and the inside is welcoming and comfortable. Will definitely be back to hang out and play games in the winter.

We walked in to a warm welcome and were given helpful tips on what ice creams to try. We were able to do samples before making the decision! The quality was great and fresh... even the waffle cone! The entire staff is lovely and the owners walked in too and they are local and sweet as the ice cream they serve! Thanks for the great service, can't wait to return!

Great little shop - really appreciate the separate 'in' and 'out' doors for flow. It would get crammed if it was busy, so any process flow I'm appreciate of.The menu board was a bit complicated to read/take in. If you're ADHD or easily overstimulated, finding a choice may be difficult. I would have preferred more interaction/assistance from the staff - they were all talking to each other about work schedules and classes and did not seem interested in chatting with us, the customers, until we were ready to order. I asked a question about one of the menu selections and they looked at me like I was stupid for expecting them to have an answer. I'm willing to acknowledge we may have caught them on a bad day or at a bad time during a shift changeover when they were catching up with colleagues.Ice cream was good, the kids cones were scooped in a way that wasn't super annoying, melty, and overloaded. That's how you should scoop them!

Amazing little shop with some historical attributes tied to Jamestown if you're interested. Also some real great ice cream to top it off! This is a stop-in if you're ever in town. Great staff and if you go upstairs, it's got some pictures and a great place to hang out; if the indoors is not your thing they have a fantastic outdoor patio and places to sit and enjoy. Also really great for families too!

The best ice cream/Happy place in Hudsonville. The owner is amazing and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and her business. We go here weekly sometimes multiple times a weekend. My boys love it and they even make a special sundae for my wife. Green apple ice cream with lots if caramel. Highly highly recommend this place. It's a Jamestown community must go!!!!!

Unfortunately this has changed ownership. So the quality beef hot dogs that you got piping hot with your chosen toppings on a soft white bun have become low quality Koegel dogs “grilled” so they’re just lukewarm and get cold fast, on a dried out grilled bun. For the same price 😐Luckily still Hudsonville ice cream.

What a neat small-town coffee shop. Admittedly I wasn't impressed by the flavor of the coffee - ordered an iced Americano and the coffee just didn't have good flavor. Otherwise, great experience and I'm glad I stopped. Very cool interior design

Our favorite ice cream shop in Western Michigan. Wonderful selection of delicious ice cream. Servings are huge. Service is polite and friendly. Also, their coffee is equsite! Haven't tried their food but I would expect it to be very good!

Had a great experience here with my family! About $10 for 2 adults and 2 children is not bad at all compared to other popular ice cream shops! You get quite a bit for a low price. My daughter ordered the spongebob squarepants novelty ice cream popsicle thing (lol) and it came with a broken stick that ended up falling apart all over the ground and the (very nice) girls working replaced it free of charge, even after I offered to pay for the replacement. The service was very fast and not a long wait, surprisingly for a Saturday night. Although, while we were sitting at the outside seating area the rush of people came and it became packed inside while we enjoyed our treats. I love to support local businesses and we will be visiting again very soon. Lucky for us that it's less than a mile from home! ☺

This place is so cute and the service was excellent. She was friendly and even customized my lunch order for gluten free needs. The chicken salad was delicious! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back for ice cream :-)

Lots of options! From simple vanilla soft serve to hard serve brownie batter to Reese's flurries, The Little Dipper has you covered. They also serve some food options too, but we go for the ice cream. You can walk, bike, or drive and eat inside or out. Great local place!

Normally my family enjoys our time spent at the Little Dipper however the last two visits were less than to be desired. First of all, the A/C unit hadn't been working for at least over a week and it was unbearably hot inside of the ice cream shop.On Mother's Day, they messed up my order and I didn't get the size of flury I paid for. I didn't complain because it was too busy and I wanted to get out of the sauna. This past weekend, the air still wasn't working! The place was busy and only one person was working. The poor girl was clearly frustrated because the coffee machine wasn't working and people were waiting in line. She probably spent too much time trying to fix it and talking on the phone to someone about the problem. My wife ordered a cookie dough flury and it tasted gross. The cookie dough pieces were the problem. They were either fake or stale and she ended up throwing it out.Like I said, my family normally has a good time and we like supporting local business. I'm just hoping these last two experiences are not going to be the new normal for us.
