Camp Bow Wow is so much for our fur babies. The staff are amazing, kind, professional and they really do love on your pup. Hands down the best camp for dogs. I say the name and he gets all excited, when we get there he starts barking and when I pick him up he is exhausted in a good way.Check it out, it is so worth it.

Camp Bow Wow in Hudsonville is hands down the BEST dog day care and boarding option we have ever had. Despite there being a closer location, we choose this one every time because of the owner's unparalleled dedication and genuine love for dogs. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly and always go the extra mile. They ensure the highest quality care every day- Highly recommend!

My dog loves to go to camp bow wow Hudsonville. The staff is amazing. I never worry a bit when my dog is there I know she will be well taken care of and kept safe. Alicia is wonderful, Megan, Sam and DJ all wonderful. Heidi is a great groomer ! My dog was anxious at previous groomer but has no problem with being groomed by Heidi. It’s a wonderful doggy day care / and boarding!

We can't say "Camp Bow Wow" in our home. Our three Italian Greyhounds go nutz, even refusing to eat, until they get there! The staff there is so incredibly caring, cheerful, and competent, that we know they are incredibly well cared for. It's always clean and there is always constant supervision. The on-line cameras allows us to check in on them and their activities and see all the fun they are having. We couldn't ask for a better place for our fur babies to play. If I was able to rate them with an 11, then I would give them a 12. Well deserved!

Update: I just received a phone call from the Manager and it was the most disrespectful and emotionally fueled phone call I have ever received. She personally attacked my competence and character, called me an extraordinary amount of undeserved names, and used a very aggressive tone of voice the entire time throughout the phone call. This was bullying at its finest. She ultimately was incapable of having a mature conversation and hung up on me. I have never experienced customer service that poor, especially in retaliation to one bad review. A franchise run by someone that emotionally vulnerable and incapable of receiving constructive criticism is very worrisome. She proceeded to tell me “We don’t want customers like you. We don’t want you, we don’t want your dog, and I personally called Camp Bow Wow Byron Center and Kentwood to make sure that you are not allowed at our locations.” Once more, keep in mind that my dog did NOTHING wrong. This was all fueled by an event that never occurred….. Needless to say, I do not recommend this location any longer.---Unlike other locations, this location does not organize dogs by temperament. This results in high energy dogs and timid/shy dogs playing together in one enclosed area. Subsequently, my dog, a high energy dog, was put in solitary confinement for an hour and a half today because she was trying to play "to intense" with timid/shy dogs (please see attached screenshots of my dog when I first discovered her in solitary at 7:44 am and when I decided to leave work to go pick her up at 8:51 am). Please note, my dog did not ACTUALLY do anything wrong. I was told she was excluded from group activities because they THINK that she MIGHT try to play with a dog who will snap back at her and cause an altercation. Why are dogs that are that susceptible to snap at another dog allowed at day care at all? Even more, why is MY dog put into solitary confinement for hours on end because another dog doesn't want to play? The entire point of doggie daycare is for dogs to play with one another, correct? Needless to say, they permanently dismissed my dog from their programs and banned her from all locations. I have been a supporter of numerous camp bow wow's for 3+ years, so imagine my heartbreak when I learned that one location can ruin my dogs social regimen for forever because of THEIR lack of care and organization.

I really wanted to give a great review after leaving my dog here for a week. However, I cannot.1. It was my understanding that someone would be with the dogs at all times. When I checked in multiple times a day, every day, that was not always the case. Management: either increase coverage for your staff or be honest with customers. Or if somehow, your staff is magically hiding in a corner where there isn't a camera, increase camera coverage or tell them not to stand there. That's supposed to be peace of mind. It wasn't.2. I was sent home with 6 servings of my dogs food because she didn't eat. While I can understand this could be an issue, when I asked why they didn't contact me and did they try putting a bit of water in her food like I instructed, I got a blank stare and told that she got extra treats. My 16.6lb dog came home a pound heavier.3. Despite my vet telling me that my dogs Bortadella vaccine was sufficient and she didn't need a 6 month booster paired with possible lack of enforcement by staff, she came home with Kennel Cough. I would recommend that customers insist from their vet that they get a booster and that staff at CBW strongly enforce this.4. I was told that the dogs were separated by size. This did not appear to be the case when I checked in on my dog. I can understand that an employee would perhaps want to bring their own dog into play, but if that dog isn't small, it shouldn't be in the small dog area because that's not what you promised your customers.I will say this: these girls care about the dogs. I know they do. I saw one of them (Sami) snuggling with my pup and that really made me feel good. My dog isn't one to really play, but loves snuggles and clearly she saw that and took initiative. I will also say that the Groomer did an excellent job - my dog came home smelling fresh and feeling soft. The whole facility seemed clean as well.I really think that a lot of the issues I've brought up could be rectified by increasing staff coverage. That would allow for someone to handle the front door and let someone stay in the back with the dogs. It would allow someone to follow up with customers if there's an issue. It would make sure that careful attention is paid to applications and the health of dogs. I realize that staffing is expensive, but you have customers that are willing to pay for what you're promising.

We’ve been bringing our puggle puppy Penny to Camp Bow Wow since about June of this year. She absolutely loves it here and the staff is so kind to her! It’s been such a relief to have a place to take her where we know she having fun and also safe. This picture of her shows how she usually is after a day at Camp Bow Wow which is sleepy and happy! Every time we bring Penny she is so eager and excited to head inside and play all day with her friends. I can’t say enough about how much we love Camp Bow Wow Hudsonville!

We are so confident in the care they provide and with our shy/timid pup they are so patient and understanding. we have been here a couple other times for nail trims and today we came in for another nail trim. My dog is 1.5yrs old and had a bad experience with a bigger German Shepard once, she will growl and bark at big dogs often now. Which is what she did today at camp bow wow to two big dogs and she ended up having a accident in the lobby. The card reader was also giving some issues and the two women working this morning(10/6 around 9-9:15am) were AMAZING. So patient and understanding. I did apologize for my dogs behavior but I feel so bad still so I do want to apologize again for causing such a scene. She isn’t normally like this but she had a terrible experience with a big dog not that long ago. She has a lot of experience with dogs as she does go to a daycare occasionally but I will be speaking with a dog behaviorist. Thank you again to the two very nice women working this morning.

Friendly staff, very informative about how things work. Made me feel secure on leaving my dog. Really appreciate the cameras so I can see what my dog is doing, not doing. How she interact with other dogs. Main selling point was my dog dragged us in the front door. No barking, no resistance. She felt welcome and safe. We will recommend & be a regular.

I don't trust alot of people when it comes to the care of my dogs. Camp Bow Wow Hudsonville is truly an incredible place to leave your pups. The staff truly cares and takes time to get to know each pup and make them feel safe. Whether it's daycare or boarding, I don't worry one minute about them when I am gone =)

I love camp!!I actually have worked at other daycares, and this is the only establishment I trust with my dogs. And as someone who works there also, I can truly say that it is one of the cleanest and most attentive places to leave your pet.I have a formerly reactive rescue who tried daycare. She is fine with other dogs but I was so worried leaving her and worried she wouldn’t do well, I was just waiting in my car outside waiting to get a call that I needed to come and get her. But Alicia was so awesome, reaching out to me that she was doing wonderful. Alicia knew how to read her and knew how to introduce her in a way that she would be successful long term. Just that alone proves what a great environment this is and she was able to thrive and it made me so happy to watch her on camera interact with other dogs.And just seeing the time that I see the staff pours into our clients, I truly cannot say enough good about this place.

Staff was great and they let us pick up our dog when we wanted to and let her come back overnight. Cameras were working so you can check in whenever you want. If your dog is older and needs a break they have different cabins with cameras they can stay in.

I love how they take care of my dogs! They are siblings with very different personalities and both love going to camp! Being able to peek in on them online is a bonus. Also appreciate their grooming services. Cannot say enough positives about Hudsonville Camp Bow Wow!

We loved camp bow wow! We had been taking our one pup there for a year; we added a second pup over the summer. Our first long weekend of boarding with both was Labor Day weekend(she was 7 months old at the time and fixed). we got a call Saturday morning around 11am stating that our youngest pup was having issues. The owner said that she had a "strong prey drive". this was something we had never experienced or seen before. When asked for the video of the incident, she told us she doesn't remember the time it happened, but the incident was that morning. She told us that our pup didn't injure or attack another dog, but she was not welcome back. It was shocking to us so we had our pup test for any issues, aggression, and even tried to recreate the situation. She was cleared from TWO other facilities without any issues. We have never seen our pup show the same behavior and honestly feel like our pup was discriminated against. Why? She's Cane Corso, Pitbull and Chow-Chow mix. I have been super disappointed in this and although we loved the facility, the staff, etc.. I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I just feel as though we got pushed aside and judged due to her breed..

Mr. Ludo had not had a stay at Camp Bow Wow in just over a year and I was worried he may not do well. Well, we pulled into the parking lot and he knew exactly where he was! He did great and as always, the staff listened to my update on some things that had happened in his life and made his stay a great one! Thank you Camp Bow Wow!

We've gone to many Camp Bow Wow's across the country as we travel and they have all been exceptional. This one is no exception. Friendly, open, caring and a good price for day care. I love the webcam feature. Even while we're visiting gardens, I can sneak a peek at our Katie huddled in the corner of her pen while the other dogs race around.

A wonderful place to bring your pet! I absolutely loved the cameras so we could check in on our fur baby! He was happy and playing the whole time! Facility is clean and well kept. I felt very safe leaving our puppy here for a long weekend while we were out of town. A great way to have him socialize with other dogs in a safe environment, plus he was getting great exercise the whole time too! We've already made our next reservation! Great place!

Camp Bow Wow is the best! We have taken our dog Harley there since he was 5 months old and now we take our new puppy Marley there. The entire staff there is amazing and they treat the campers and the parents like family. They also do our grooming and bathing when needed and the groomer does an awesome job. We boarded Harley there while we were on vacation and it was a great experience. Thanks everyone at Bow Wow for all you do for the campers!

They keep us up-to-date with the day she had. Very clean! This is her home away from home. We can go out of town and have peace of mind that she is in good hands. Pure class! Our dog became sick while at Camp bow wow and not only did they rush him to the hospital on the weekend, but they had one of their employees stay by our dog's side until we were able to drive the two and a half hours home to be with him. Things don't always go as planned, but the urgency and care that they showed our dog was above and beyond. Camp Bow Wow is a place where you can bring your four legged family members, and know that they will be cared for as if they were their own.
