I’ve brought my husky here since he was a year old! It’s the only place I have found that fully de-sheds my fluffy guy AND fully dries him. They are fast, kind, and so talented. The whole staff is amazing. I bring both of my dogs here for nail trims, but they are extremely accommodating for my nervous pit mix when he gets his nails trimmed. I will pay anything just to keep coming here!

Up until about 7 months ago, I loved petx their groomers were amazing. After that, things have slide down hill. I’m all about safety for my dogs and others, however, notify the customer. I took my dog in for a nail trim. I looked around the corner and noticed a muzzle on my dog. Now, what made me furious was that they didn’t even acknowledge to me or explain that they had to muzzle her at any point of the visit. I understand that maybe my dog was grumpy and they err’d on the side of caution. I will no longer take my dog there and will move on.

This place is great.. been going here for awhile to get my dogs nails trimmed,they are really good with my dog which she is half rottweiler. This visit they gave my dog a st. Patties day bandana. This is a good place

They've always done a great job with my puppy, and the little boy is excited and happy whenever I drop him off or pick him up. The staff really seem to care about animals, the pricing is reasonable, and BMo has looked great after every cut. Very pleased with the service we receive here.

We are so thrilled to provide this review. We took our Aussiedoodle to get groomed with Janae at Pet Xtras yesterday. This was our first experience here and we could not be more pleased!! First, Josie's cut is the best she has received in her 2.5 years. It was exactly what we asked for when we left her. Second, and maybe most importantly, Josie had an amazing experience. She typically has returned from other groomers down and exhausted. She would sleep the rest of the day. Yesterday, she returned to us happy, playful and peppy. Janae, loved on Josie, as well as, others on their staff. We have already made our next grooming appointment with Janae. Lastly, the drop off and pick up area was very busy, but very efficient and friendly. Clearly, this is a busy place for good reasons! Thank you so much Janae and the team at Pet Xtras in Howell.

Had a appointment set for 2 months. Dropped our dog off and was supposed to be 2 hrs. After no call for 2 and half hours. We call to find out they haven’t begun grooming her. Stated it would be another hour at least. They could’ve said they were behind when we dropped our dog off. But they didn’t. They never called. Place is a joke and have lost a customer.

My border collie mix is about 3 years old and she has never been to a groomer before and I decided to try this salon for her. She seemed to be in great care and looked (and smelled) amazing! Definitely going to be regulars there

I took my shy, long haired cat here who had lots of matting in his fur. We told them we’d prefer it if he didn’t have to be shaved and they took great care of our baby! He came out looking fluffy and soft with no more matting! Will definitely come back here again.

My big dog loves beef cheeks and this is the only place we can find large ones that aren't weird. When we try and order online or go to some of the bigger chain pet stores the cheeks are thin, look grayish and even the large ones are small but PetX has great ones. The general array of chews is fantastic, they even have beaver feet which is perfect for our small dog and hard as heck to find! Clean well stocked, friendly, knowledgable employees (at least at our location!).

We take 2 of our dogs for nail trims. We get them clipped and drummel. The cost is now $15 a dog. The young lady that does the nails is very kind, patient and compassionate to our dogs. No appointment is needed, just walk in, which is really convenient for us. Next door, they have a full pet supply store. They have one of the best quality dog & cat food selections in the area.

I was amazed at how good of a job Pet Xtras did on our dog Tony. The staff was also so kind I had accidentally missed two appointments and they were never rude about it they always just allowed me to make another appointment And we’re just so pleasant and accommodating. If you care about your dog and want him to have the best this is the place. Without a doubt this is now Tony’s grooming salon for the rest of his life.

Hands down, the best service I've ever received. The staff is very friendly and beyond helpful. For the actual grooming, my dog has never felt so soft, had such great smelling breathe, nails perfectly trimed/filed, and smelled so pretty clean. They even sent her home in a cute bandana! Guess I've found our new favorite spa place❤

Best place to bring your dogs. Have been going for years and. all the girls are so good to my dogs. recently Drew groomed Alivia and Ben , Drew is Awesome !! Melissa always takes great care of them also. Appreciate the kindness they both show to my pups!!!

I have been taking my shih tzu here for the past 7 months and I have been more then happy with the staff and the quality of care that my dog receives!Melissa is my go to groomer! Not only have I seen her treat my dog like it was her own but she listens on the style of cut I would like on my fur baby chewy.Highly recommend for your furry friends grooming needs!

Took my cat Jelly here today to get a bath and have her litte rear shaved up so that she can use the bathroom and won't have to have a mess. Honestly I can't tell that her behind was even trimmed. The back of her legs and everything still has long fur and I had to use paper towel to clean poop out after we got home because it was stuck in her fur. Kind staff though

Im not happy about this wound on my cat that noone told me about. He obviously blead and you knew. Someone could have told me and its not the first time. I spoke with the owner of this store and asked her to refund me for my groom and for half of my cats vet bill she told me she would speak to her groomer Lynn and never got back to me. So i called and left a message no call back so i brought my cat in today to show her his scar she wasn't there so I left my number again. Ive taken my cat here for three years Ive referred my friends to this groomer as well but this place doesnt care about their customers or your pets!

I have taken my labradoodle to two other groomers and they just couldn’t get the cut right. I took him hear hoping and boy am I glad I did!! Debbie did an amazing job on Max he looks so good and he was a happy boy when he left feeling good!! They treat your animals so good and super friendly and helpful staff! Thanks again!! We will be back soon!

What a fantastic store for all your pet needs. They carry a great selection of high quality foods. I even found things for my dog with allergies. Plus they have all the treats and supplies you could need.The groomers are awesome. They take good care of the pups. The frequent user card helps when you've got three fur babies.

Took quite a long time but that's because they were so busy! The business was for good reason, though, as they were awesome. Not only did my cat come back smelling and looking like a million bucks, but the staff was so friendly and felt as if they really loved your pets already.
