I went to this dollar tree today and I did not have the best experience. I have been going to this dollar tree for years, I loved all the employee's until I met one who was not nice today. I have been low on money recently because of some family health issues. Today I went in and spent around 5 dollars in the store. the cashier ( I believe her name is Anne) was very unhappy that she had to straighten my dollars out and made sure to tell me rudely that they can't go in the drawer if they are crumpled. I know how retail works I have worked in retail for 3 years now. This is not my first rodeo. On the other hand I know that the customers are supposed to be respected. Not spoken rudely, given rude looks and they also should not b e huffed and puffed at. I hope that the management can find a way to fix this behavior because I would like to continue going to this store.

I must admit that ever since the new manager Al ,took control of managing the Dollar Store in downtown Howell Mi the shelves are greatly stocked interior environment very clean and no more waiting in lines thanks to new management Al.Thanks AL for turning the store into a pleasant business to shop.

Cashier Ann is so very rude. My wife had her hands full with a baby and the goods she bought. Glass wear at that. Ann said “you need to return the basket where you got it” my wife didn’t. Ann then called her the B word. Absolutely disgusting.

I'll go to the other DT in howell from now on. The blonde female manager here at this location has no customer service, told me of i wanted help I needed to ring the bell. A bell that multiple people are using and no hand sanitizer in sight. Also, my question was "you're right here, and you can't help me out? " she replied "ring the bell and that's how you'll get service." The other cashier was out on the floor doing his job, and she couldn't help out! WOW, what a team player, who made this lady a manager. Now I really know times are tough!

Shelves were short of certain things. Then some Christmas decorations that are advertised were out way back in 1st of Nov and they were never ordered again. Very disappointing.

When visiting the Howell, Mi. Location in the Promenade center. At approximately 3pm on Sunday, we were checked out by Ann who was not wearing a mask, while I am required to wear on to enter, also as explained by the gentleman working, manger Sam that the half consumed dunkin coffee , with the straw in it, in the pop cooler belonged to the same register worker. This store does not have the health and safety of its customers in mind apparently

Unfortunately, the woman running the cashier could not count coins. On two purchases first she believed I owed when I did not.Then, the second purchase she gave me to wrong change just quarters to count.Push yes for receipt.
