stopped in from out of town..I love my local Ace Hardware, so i decided to stop in here.even though they didn't have what I was looking for, I was directed to a different store (competition) to find what I needed.I appreciate the help and I'll definitely return again if I need anything while I'm in the area.

Place is small but can get basic needs ( including screen repair). Unless you need something major (which they might surprise you). Always ready to help & there when you need them.

Amazing customer service and there is always someone to help you. I just did an order online pickup in store but they see to have a little of everything and are super helpful if they don't have it. Will definitely be back in the spring for my yard needs.

This once was a great hardware store when owned by Grundy. People that went out of their way to be helpful. Now it is staffed by people who do not know the products or the business. You are much better off going to Howell Hardware-better help and better knowledge.When I recently went to exchange an Ace brand wrench, utilizing the lifetime guarantee on Ace hand tools, the staff scoffed at the idea that this guarantee even existed. When I asked them to go online and see that it did, I was told that could not determine if it applied to my purchase, and further, they did not have the tool. I asked them to contact Ace, which they did not do, and simply became rude and asked me for a receipt on a tool I bought 15 years ago. Thoroughly disgusted at this experience, I contacted Ace corporate, who, in fact, ended up confirming that this guarantee does exist and does not require a proof of purchase. Ace corporate also contacted this specific store, who has not bothered to contact me, despite Ace corporate's assurance that they would. Byrum owns a number of Ace stores in this area, and prove that bigger generally results in worse service.

I always stop there first with my list. They never let me down. If they don't have it in the store they can usually order it for you. Super friendly employees and go the extra mile to help you.

Great customer service from every single employee! I've had employees help carry things out to the car, talk me thru the best tool options, make some custom bolts to size, and walk me thru staining wood step by step. Most helpful hardware store I've ever been to.

This store and staff are awesome here. I called in for a stock check on an unusual tool, and they said "we have one" and I asked if they could put my name on it. Once I got there and requested the tool, they actually put my name in marker on thr package 😆. That would stop anyone else from buying it. Thank you Byrum Ace for saving my project from Amazon and having what I needed. See you all soon.

That's what I call customer service he'll definitely be back. Karen and the young fellow that was there this morning or very helpful. Again I love the small-town hardware store.

Love this Store, so nice and friendly. They give you person attention with what you need. Kyle, Amy, Colton, are workers there, couldn’t have been more polite, ask for them. I also encountered the manager, so eager to explain and help. You get rewards and discounts when you buy. It is right uptown and convenient. Finding the prices are good, and with discounts you get monthly meet within my budget. I came out of the Smiling and am So Glad there hear. Store is spic and span. Happy Customer 😊👍

Was in this store on May 27, 2022 and had seen in the Ace ad That they had a 12 pack of HTH pool shock for $59.99 but the store didn't have a box but had over 12 individual packs. So I asked the manager if he could honor the box price with the 12 individual packs and he said he would have to charger me more than the price of the 12 pack. He said the individual packs cost him more so he would have to charge me more but never said what the cost was so I said doesn't the customer always come first and apparently customer service went out the window when Covid hit and walked out. I went to another ACE hardware and they had no problem honoring their ad.

Absolutely awesome customer service tonight. Picked up a grill on a whim and the only one left was the floor model. The gentleman working cleaned it up for us and helped us load it into the truck. Super nice the whole time and extremely helpfulThanks so much for helping us get this home! Dinner was awesome.

Don't mistake this for some small hole-in-the-wall hardware store. You have to see their nuts/bolts/screw selection - one of the largest in the county. Very well laid out as well. Nice store, small town feel yet excellent selection. Fast in and out -and good parking.

My experience has always been my experience and the new owners and staff have been nothing but Gracious supporting and kind after the transfer from the Grundy family. They share the same ideology and have employed people with great attitudes knowledge and relaxing smiles I would rec ommend to anyone to experience your hometown hardware in regards to a big box. I'm a complete 100% satisfied customer.

I have always loved hardware stores, and the fact that they carry Benjamin Moore paint is awesome. But my last visit I bought 5 gallons of paint plus other painting supplies. The young man that mixed up my paint was not very friendly and when he was done he said if you need to there are carts in the front to take your items out with. I was the only customer in the store at the time and thought really you can't help carry it out ? When I came back in for my second trip he was no where in site I thought wow customer service sucks anymore.

Great customer service. Jay really went above and beyond to help me. I had a unique problem and he went as far as to take some fasteners into their stock room, remove the heads, and make sure that they would work for my project before I left the store. Situations like this are why I ALWAYS prefer to go to the local hardware stores (as opposed to Home Depot or Lowes). The people working there always more knowledgeable and helpful.

I always get the friendly service here that you would expect from an Ace Hardware. I never make it more then an isle or two before I’m greeted by a nice and knowledgeable employee. For a small town hardware store, they are great. Staff was very friendly and was able to cut some house keys very quickly.Only downside is they dont always have what you are looking for if you are looking for a specific brand. There size doesn't let them compete with Home Depot and Lowes on that. But they very likely have what you need of you aren't brand specific.

I reviewed this the other day and I guess it got deleted. Don’t call my phone to ask me to remove when you couldn’t call to tell me why my order was canceled. I obviously needed the item and preferred to shop small hometown instead of big box stores. And if I had the courtesy of a call then more than likely I would have settled for what you had in stock cause that’s just how I roll. But sending an email with no reason as to why an order was canceled and expecting me to call you and ask you why is just saying oh your not worth my time to me as the customer.
