Today was my first visit. We went for the potatoes that were on sale. Of course I bought extra. Their meat prices were reasonable. The cashier was friendly. Great service. I will return.

Wonderful family business, and always a lovely conversation while they wrap amazing cuts of meat. Family has gone to Birds for decades, and I continue with mine. Location is peaceful and beautiful open country.

Nice to have a small market like this where it's a half an hour drive to any other. Birds needs someone to reorganize with more shelving and a regular cleaning crew and like a lot of businesses, they were understaffed but friendly. Prices for butcher cut meat is fair compared to Walmart or Meijer. They run specials but most items are just average price. If the store had a full deli, a smoke house and liquor license it could be a gem but unfortunately it does not.

Meat has more grizzle than it used to so we buy less there. We did go to get some things and they were out of the country style ribs and n to cut more. So I asked about how long will we need to wait. The response from the lady was "as long as it takes" with a smirk. I am sorry but we have gone there for years and this did not impress me. I would have rather her say, I am not sure

A family friend raved about this place - glad we tried it out! Not only are their meat prices very reasonable there are specials listed on the website. We got a ribeye and a porterhouse and some summer sausage. All was very tasty and cost considerably less than it would have at Meijer. Very nice people there - Happy to Support a local business!

We've been doing business there for a long time, NEVER will we ever go back! We took our number and waited for our turn, we gave the person our number. They refused to serve us,said others had been waiting. Not sure why they even have numbers to give out. Maybe someone of lighter complexion can get better service.

BEWARE! Very poor packaging of my meat and then I purchased 2 packages of 3 boneless pork chops each for $2.99 per pound and the new girl that couldn't wrap meat if her life depended on it and didn't even try to do it proper. The girl then charged me 3.99 per pound for hickory smoked pork chops for 1 of the two (3 ) pack boneless pork chop packages that should have been 2.99 per pound instead of 3.99 per pound . I didn't even buy any hickory smoked pork chops.

I love this store! The meat is delicious, the employees are always nice and helpful. I've gone in and tried a new cut of beef and the older lady gave me recommendations on how to cook and season it. I've been coming here for literally decades and I've never had a bad experience here.Update: I'm now required, by my sister, to stop here before I fly to Florida to see her and pick her up stuff. I literally bought an insulated, airline approved bag for this 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣

Our monthly stop to pick up a month's worth of meat. There is no other place in West Michigan that has such a wonderful price and quality comparison. Never have we had a bad experience. Highly recommend! Worth the hour drive every time.

I have mixed reviews on this one. I placed my order on line thinking I could go in and pick up my order on the day and time I requested. When I got there I was told by an employee, " Oh I don't even look at online orders". So I had to stand there shoulder to shoulder with UN masked patrons and employees! They are all a bunch of mask holes up there. As a side note the meat is cheap and good. In the past I have given them 5 stars but not this time. Don't waste your time ordering on line.

I did not know what to expect? When we arrived I heard the sound of music and joy! It was way beyond my expectations and the service was great. Not only are the service staff exceptional, the prices are a dream for the quality I believe I have received. I paid for deer processing last year $150 for 60lbs of meet. Here I paid $200 for 130lbs of variety. Amazing place!

The best meat market ever! Been going here for over 30 years now. Use to live in the local area. Moved an hour away. We still travel once a month to by our meat here. Good Quality meat. Great family people working here. Always sharing recipes and greeting everyone with a smile 🙂
