Stopped here for propane and folks are friendly and such but be aware they have two radically different prices for their tank refill. Approx 3.48/gal for filling onboard RV tanks vs 1.29/lb(approx 5.50/gal for portable tanks. We are full time in an RV and have never seen this pricing situation for propane refill. Seems to be a ripoff that folks aren't questioning.

Festival is the best hardware store in the Houghton area. However, the grocery section is not better than the other area grocery stores or Walmart.

Used to go here in the 90s--changed quite a bit. The customer service in the hardware section are pretty helpful. I mean I've turned into a grumpy old man but these people are pretty pleasant. The chicken strips are solid too.

It nice having a hardware store with good weekend/holiday hours. That's when I have time to do my projects and knowing I can go pick up that thing-a-ma-jig that I need to finish the project gives me piece of mind.I don't grocery shop here, so I can't really comment on that, but it's not the main focus of the store anymore.Also has a BP gas station with a convenience market section at one end of the building.

I like coming here for the grocery store/hardware store experience. There aren't many places you can get bulk screws and frozen waffles on the same aisle. And yes, they do have good sales on pantry items that are worth checking out.

The owners should hire more cashiers the lines are always too long. The deli should stop putting eggs on every pre-made salad. Julie at the food side is amazing.

Definitely the lowest grocery store on the totem pole for the area. Some things are comparable to other IGA stores locally, but if you need anything fresh I'd go elsewhere. What kind of grocery store stocks only 3 bags of hot dog buns??!

Its convenient and a lot quicker to get in and out of Festival foods. They are carrying a lot of organic products. I appreciate that. Especially I like the pasta sauce. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I also have found products I can't find anywhere else.

Excellent baked goods, meats, veggies. Cleaning supplies and parts for grills you can't find anywhere else. Wide variety of hardware supplies. Even propane.
