Visit the store periodically, the staff has been very friendly and professional. Most recently I had dealings with a young man, I believe his name is John. What a pleasant person. Had and enjoyable conversation.

Where do I begin? I hardly ever write bad reviews unless I absolutely have to. A week ago I had seen an ad on Indeed whereby this store By Nature was wanting a store manager. I applied for the job and was hired over the phone. I spoke to the daughter of the owner, Tricia Williams. I was told that the hourly rate would be $15 an hour and would change after “I had gotten situated”.I was asked to come to the store on a Monday and start training. I was being trained by a very lovely lady called Louise. She was very patient with me. All that week I began to realize that Tricia would not communicate with me. I asked her several times to call me so we could finalize the hiring process. There was always an excuse why she couldn’t talk. When I would text her she would respond hours later.After a whole week of working, I finally text her with my concerns and suggestions for the store. I had hoped she would call me back but all I got was a text saying thank you for your suggestions.On Monday morning I arrive at the store at 10:00am. After a while, Louise who was training me hands me the phone and it was Trisha. She proceeds to tell me that she and her family had had a discussion and they were going yo hire someone part time and I wouldn’t be needed anymore. She had the whole weekend to let me know this but had waited till I had come to the store. She went on to say that I should come back later to get my check for the 3 days I had worked. This was a big insult. Now I have to use up more gas to come and get a 3 day paycheck. If she really wanted to pay me that paycheck she would have had Louise write out that check . Another person who could have written the check would be her mum, who comes in everyday to do the books. Helen Nevanpera, Tricia’s mum is the owner of the store and she comes in everyday to do the books. She is 93 years old and has since retired from running the store. Most people around here know her as Helen.I will not be returning to the store to get the check. As a child of God I am not that desperate. I decided to write this review to show how disrespectful some of these business owners treat people. It’s not right to treat people in such a disrespectful manner. It’s not right to hire people when you know that you are just using them for a few days of labor then discard them.I do not recommend anyone to go and work at this store at this time. Tricia does not know how to treat people. I had heard rumors of how she had run off the previous manager. That should have been a red flag for me right there.Business owners, learn to treat people with respect !

Horrible place!! Dirty disgusting toilet🤮🤮. Dusty plastic plants on display and old trash smell coming from somewhere!! Staff not knowledgeable at all and owner is not a nice person. Will definitely never set my foot in that store ever again!!!

They have awesome natural ginger candies for upset stomachs. Really helped me in my pregnancy. They have something for everyone. My dad and I have went there since I was a kid. Highly recommend!

This place is really sketchy. Their ginger chews are nice, but all of the anti-vaccine, non-mask wearing business seriously had me questioning their validity as a seller of healthful products.
