We had our wedding here end of July 2023 and it was a lovely experience! The owner was very polite, professional, understanding, and a really good sport when my kids jumped in the middle of us during the ceremony or at our feet. I loved the buildings stained glass windows and it’s unique vibes. I would highly recommend this chapel to anyone and my only advice would be to take the chance to splurge on the photographer because if you get one that isn’t as experienced with lighting (mine made excuses regarding this) then that can be disappointing. I was really happy with the owner speaking up and asking our photographer to jump in because I wouldn’t have gotten some of the shots we had gotten if the owner hadn’t. Thanks so much for our beautiful wedding!

My wife and I had our wedding there 9/02/2023. It was one of the best days of our life everything was as to be expected for a perfect wedding day. There was plenty of pictures opportunities indoor and outdoor. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family looking to get married at a reasonable cost

Having our wedding here was an all around great experience. The venue is beautiful. The owner was helpful and communicative before, during and after our wedding. Our wedding was exactly what we hoped for.

Our wedding day was perfect. She was pet friendly which is hard to find. The Chapel was so beautiful. She was very accommodating when my now wife found out she had COVID just a few days before the service. She let us reschedule our wedding and didn't charge us any extra. If you're looking for something small and very intimate her chapel should be top on your list

This place is a dream location for anyone looking for a cozy, historic church location. Stained glass, red brick, and surrounded by foliage aplenty, this place gives off amazing cottagecore vibes.Not only that, but the pastor is phenomenal! She genuinely wants your day to be YOUR day and will work with you on every detail. She welcomes any and all to marry in her beautiful church.We picked the halloweddings package which comes with a delightfully spooky script. It was a truly stunning ceremony that I wouldn't change for the world.I highly recommend this place for any ceremony/reception needs with 50 or less guests! Would love to come back someday, whether it be a vow renewal or just a party event!

We planned to get married at the courthouse and they had to close back down due to Covid restrictions. I found Celebrations Wedding Chapel online, sent an email, and had a phone call back within the hour and wedding scheduled for the following week! It was an absolutely beautiful venue and SO much better than what it would have been at the courthouse!

The small and elegant venue was absolutely perfect for me and my bride's wedding! Christine was very knowledgeable and helped us along the way with what we needed to accomplish with the legalities of our marriage and the process of the ceremony. Speaking of, the ceremony builder provided made it very easy to not only work through the order, it also allowed for us to put our own customization on the wedding, which everyone in attendance said they loved. Thanks again for all of your help, Christine, you truly made our day the best it could be.

It was a beautiful experience. Christine is very down to earth and easy to talk with. She really helped, every step of the way, I felt so comfortable after we went out to meet her about a month before our date and it really sold me. Beautiful location, and great vibes. We definitely made the right choice for our venue. I would like to do a vow renewal in a year so I can bring friends and family to share the experience! We had my daughter's wedding here. It is so beautiful. The owner is fantastic and is on site to help if needed.The church with the colored stained glass windows fill the room with a magical dancing lights. Decorations are supplied which saves on your budget.The chapel can be quickly transformed into a reception by rearranging the pews and setting up tables.The outside gardens are magical with a tall unique fairy house which alone is worth a visit.So many beautiful amenities with great photo opportunities.Hanover is a quaint little town with a lot of character. It's a perfect setting for your magical celebration.

Christine was a fantastic officiant who was flexible, experienced, informative and helpful, kind, patient, quirky, and thoughtful. She guided us through the process of marriage, both in creating a beautiful ceremony and in assistance with technicalities like name changing. The chapel is better than the online pictures can even capture, it’s got SO much character and charm. The stained glass windows, antique furniture, and interesting trinkets were charming as can be. Christine’s ceremony builder helped us create the perfect outline for a nice presentation, and she is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs or lack there of. The price for renting her chapel and officiant service is truly unbeatable and WELL worth the money. Could not be happier with how our ceremony went, highly recommend!!! On our wedding day Michigan was plagued with a horrific ice storm, but I hardly noticed because everything else was such a dream come true

Our ceremony was WONDERFUL! Christine made our wedding very special and we will remember our ceremony and the beautiful location forever. I would highly recommend Celebrations to anyone considering a wedding, esp. a small elopement like ours. We were going to the courthouse, but we wanted something romantic, and celebrations was perfect. They were very flexible with us, especially since we were coming from over an hour away. You will not be disappointed with them at all, highly recommend! We also got our pictures done with their recommended vendor Jessica+Mike photography, and they were right on time and were wonderful as well.

Christine was amazing!! We are both relatively introverted, and she really made us feel comfortable on a day that's all about us. Her ceremony builder was perfect as we didn't want to write our own vows and really didn't know what we wanted her to say. She was great at the rehearsal and had a lot of good tips for us including one we really found helpful, which is you can't cry and swallow at the same time - we both employed this tactic at the altar, ha! She also was really helpful with signing the license and making sure we filled it out correctly, along with sending it in for us. Thanks for all your help and for marrying us!!

We are an older couple in our 60's and didn't want the huge wedding thing. We were looking for something intimate and romantic. Christine exceeded any expectations we may have had!! She made our ceremony so personal you would have thought we've known her for years. The chapel is just lovely with many photo opportunities. I will recommend Celebrations Wedding Chapel to anybody looking for a wedding venue. Thank you Christine! You made our day so very memorable!!!

This venue was so overgrown I drove by it three times before I could find it, it needs a lot of work and a lot of updating. Two stars was being generous. And the attitude and the snarky comments thrown by the officiant during the ceremony were totally uncalled for. Definitely overpriced for what was provided.
