Was so fun, runs very late if you watch both movies.. doesn’t start till dark.. opens around 6:30-7 pm. Couldn’t really find a lot of information per the web site. great prices, amazing snack bar..they take cash or cards.. was like Movie camp.. meet a lot of folks..from everywhere.. bring a battery radio..to tune in to sound. Speakers are not the best.. pets welcome.. please pick up after them..

While camping for the weekend it was rainy and I decided to search for something to do with the kids. I came across this drive in and we decided to go check it out. This little gem is soooo cool! Totally 50's decor at the diner, original speakers and vintage cartoons was awesome! Service was so friendly and helpful! The little park was a bonus for the kids. Double feature and cheaper than movie theaters. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

This drive-in only got 3 stars because, as a drive-in theater I feel like this should be their main concern/priority: distracting lights during the movie. There seemed to be bright lights coming from all over the place. They could solve a lot of this by just raising their fence a bit higher. We've been to quite a few drive-ins, and contending with bright business security lights has never been an issue before. That being said, their concessions building was very cute and nostalgic! And the "lucky number" prize board was such a fun idea!! We'd come back again if we were in the area, but this would not make it to our list of must visit drive-ins.

Seriously, it's a drive in and they have snacks. You'll get a double feature. Seriously you're kids will love you're time here.No rated "R", but it's really the experience you're going for.Bring bug spray, camp chairs, blankets and some courage to drive around a bunch of cars and running kids. Yet still, you'll talk about how fun it was and how you'll need to come back.

Classic Drive-In, well worth a visit. They are open summer months and do to movies a night. Clean diner in the middle with cheap movie eats, malts, popcorn, cotton candy, etc. Bathrooms are clean too. There's a playground, putt-putt, and a radio station airing the movie as well.

I took my kids there, it’s been a few years! But, it was an amazing experience…for all of us. Brought back a lot of memories when I was little. I love how nothing over PG-13 is shown. That in itself sends a good message to our children. And I liked the ‘down home’ feeling I got from the family that runs it.I would say, that if you only had enough time & money to do one thing this summer (because of the ridiculous gas prices), I’d highly recommend piling the kids in the car & head to the Cherry Bowl Drive In!!!

The Cherry Bowl experience is a required part of any visit to Benzie County. There's a playground for the little kids and putt-putt for the older ones. Wide range of food/snack choices available for purchase. Leashed dog and kilt friendly.

Great place to take your kids. The movies are kid appropriate and they have great concessions and excellent prices. The movie does start after 10pm so make sure you or your kids can handle the late night. Clean bathrooms and portable toilets.

A blast from the past, and a great way to watch a couple of movies in a clean, family-friendly environment. We go to the area fairly often, but never visited until last night. Great place, well maintained, lots of WOW, I REMEMBER THAT!! factor. We actually had little interest in the movie running at the time last night, and left after an hour or so, but still very much felt the 20 bucks for 2 was well spent. DON'T MISS IT!

It was such a great time every time I came with the kids. Has the 50s feel and look. Modern movies and the ability to bring audio over your car speakers or bring a portable radio makes it a touch better than some of the post speakers.

Your going for the experience because you can't see or hear the movie. Speakers do not turn up loud enough. People kept putting their lights on so for about 3/4 of the movie I couldn't see and parking is terrible so I'm already forever away from the screen. Bugs were also horrible. But it's nostalgic....

I love how they set the cars up so its biggest in the back and smallest in the front. Also to exit you continue driving all the way to the right of the screen. The exit isn't labeled very well if its your first time going. Kids 12 and under are free.

Speakers have a lot of static, so you'll have to use your car radio. Snacks are good and super reasonable compared to movie theaters. The only problem is that the place is SWARMING with mosquitos. They really should spray, or something.Overall, great nostalgia.

Awesome drive-in. The only complaint was there was static on the audio system so I hope they get that looked at. I also think they could bring in some additional revenue by playing a few ads or previews ahead of the feature. It was a major plus that they allow dogs at the drive-in so we could bring the pups. Concessions were priced great and the popcorn was fresh! I wish I had this drive-in near my hometown.

Great fun! Easy to park and enjoy!Friendly staff. One star off for cost. It's not unreasonable, but a price per car would be nice, instead of $60 for the 5 of us. So, it's a neat 50s vibe and experience, but don't expect 50s prices! LolGuess if you stay for the double feature you've got your money's worth though!

Neat place! $48 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Popcorn was good (but not hot-I found that a bit weird). Kids loved the cinnamon sugar soft pretzels and every other sugar filled thing they bought. They have rules that they don't enforce (at least not as well as other drive ins we've been to)- the parking mounds aren't built up very high, so those us that have to park in the back would LOVE for hatches to have to be tied down to appropriate height, not just have an employee give the patron twine and walk away. They also state that people aren't allowed on their roof for safety reasons (makes total sense), but the people next to us had their same kids on their roof (alone), in the dark.Lots of room for the kids to run around and burn off the crazy before the movie starts. Overall great time and nice people.

A nostalgic experience all around from the speakers (or you can do sound through your car stereo), to the lobby snack bar. This is a family oriented, always safe for kids, drive in. They play nothing "R" rated. Play area by the movie screen and snack bar with pizza, hot dogs, chili dogs, fries and chicken strips! Oh, and popcorn which is amazing! There are tons of other food choices, including giant pickles! It's a great time!

Please get some better movies. We love coming to the drive in but the movies are not that great. Andyes, I understand that you have to have movies for the youngin's, but by the time the second movie starts, they are asleep. Perfect for the second movie geared for adults. Still pg rating and we can enjoy it too. But my husband and I live in Cadillac and we don't mind the drive, so please get something for us. Thank you for your time and I still adore the place.

I’ve been watching movies here for over 40 years and it’s completely a great piece of nostalgia. Everything is very good including the snack bar selection, however the line is always very long. The audio is my only complaint and is still distributed through the original car boxes with the original amplifier but there is a loud hum the whole time and on maximum volume you can barely hear it. It is broadcasted over FM radio but my car automatically shuts down all electronics including the radio after 15 minutes of the engine being off.

Very much a classic drive-in. Lots of fun! The only downside is that the car sound speakers had a bad hum that largely obscured the audio. The FM signal was mostly OK but it had a hum too and during the first movie the left channel was non-existent. Please fix the audio problems as that really detracts from an otherwise great experience.

Two movies for the price of one. Awesome place for the kiddos. You use to be allowed to bring in your own snacks but the flyer they hand you says not allowed. They are also a bit rude on parking. Seems they are all about the cash pull 400 yards to the back and just use your radio to hear

First time here - never going back. Staff was quite rude and did nothing to solve problem. Arrived early and found good parking spot. Five minutes into 1st movie large SUV backed in to spot in front of us and left hatch open and inside light on - blocked 1/2 the screen for us and nowhere else to park (i.e. good spot). Working on getting a refund since we left and did not receive service we paid for. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
