Dr Copeland and her staff are caring and very helpful. I had a to put my pet Matthew to sleep (it was a few years ago) and I couldn't ask for a more understanding and supportive group of individuals. I want to thank you for everything and know you made a difference for us. Tinky passed 4/26/24 and she had a great life thanks to everyone at Holt Veterinary Clinic. Oh by the way it has always been super easy to get med docs to board my cats. Thank you 😊

Find a different Vet!!!Frustrated with this place on several occasions. Very slow customer service when trying to make an appointment or requesting records to board our dog. When you finally get an appointment, efficiently is not their strong suit. Everything is slow. During the last visit, they drew blood from my pup, it took several attempts, we heard her screeching from the waiting room. They needed to poke her several times and she bled all over the floor. On another occasion, we called for a refill of heart worm meds that we buy quarterly. Never returned our call. Our most recent experience was frustrating. We made an appointment for routine vaccinations. The appointment was for 9 am Monday morning. We had a family emergency and needed to cancel. I phoned as soon as they opened on Monday. We were charged a no-show fee for canceling without a 24 hour notice. How could we possibly give 24 hour notice for an emergency on a Sunday?

These gals are top notch. They handled both my giant puppy as well as my senior dog with loving care and when my older doggo decided she didn't like the taste of the medicine they asked me if I'd like to give it a shot. I was more than pleased with that given that she's so old and I knew she'd be fine if I did and she made everyone smile when she took her medicine for dad on the first try. For real though, the cost for their annual shots was so much less than expected and the staff were awesome.

I have a 10 year old rare breed (Lancashire Heeler) named Rocco. Dr. Copeland and team at Holt Veterinary Clinic have made each visit as stress free as possible for Rocco and I. After talking about breed specific issues, Dr. Copeland researched the issues and was able to help ensure Rocco was in the best health possible. Every one there is kind, considerate and professional. I can’t recommend enough!

I gave 2 stars because past visits have been ok. This last one makes me think about never going back. The " tech" wasn't personable at all. Came in for several minutes asking questions. Left. Was back in approximately 15 minutes. With an estimate of $478.00+I was confused. I guess she was being proactive.After requesting a different estimate the Dr came in. We discussed my needs. My dog is happy. She is a rescue. She's been with me for a year. Iffy lumps on her ( warts?? Or skin tags???) Coughs occasionally. She has arthritis and a medication I'd gotten from them before seemed to work. But another prescription would require a panel of blood work. So my " estimate" had to include blood draw and labs. Ok.Tech. Took her back to draw blood and was gone again several minutes. Came back in . No blood was drawn. They couldn't get it. Tried several times and even tried her neck🤔☹️ She was so upset she pooped all over. She's a sweet Shih Tzu.So I paid $59 for nothing,really. Never saw Dr again. So I guess the 7 minutes she was in room with me cost $59. None of my questions were answered. I was there a total of one and a half hours. I feel so bad for my dog. She's been blind for a couple years. Still nervous around humans. Was kept in a cage, outside, for her first 13 years. Now she's being Poked with IV needle several times. Tech didn't seem to have any sympathy. Or empathy. Or kindness whatsoever. Pup was trembling when she came back. SoWhat would you do?? I don't think I can go back.Only gone there about 6 times total. Happy before this. What to do 🤷. ???A FEW MONTHS LATERI've calmed down and have had more time to reflect on that visit months earlier. Dr. Julie is a great person and I feel badly I gave a negative review. I know she's helped friends of mine pets many times. I don't usually leave bad reviews. It was honestly how I felt that day.Everyone has bad days. I don't get along with 100% of everyone I meet. Apparently the tech was one of them.I received a letter a few days later kindly asking me to never come back. I guess I deserve that.Give them a try. Not a bad place.Humbly,Sue😐

Had to wait an hour total in parking lot for someone to come get my pet, do his annual heart worm check and shot and then to pay. Seems like a long time for that service. Plus felt like cost was high.

I would recommend this practice to anyone. The doctors and staff are so friendly and caring. They have started again with some in person visits, but I also don't mind waiting in the parking lot while my dog is inside. Ellie Mae and I trust them completely. Thank you for taking such great care of Ellie Mae.

this was our first visit to this vet clinic and it was a pleasant experience. all the staff were very nice. would recommend this place. the only thing i would like to be different is to have the option to come inside with my dogs for the visit hopefully this is something that will be allowed in the future.

Highly recommend staying away from this practice. Since Dr. Fauser retired it's been run strictly as a business. My elderly easy going dog who doesn't even require a leash was taken into another room, muzzled and brought back severely distressed, foaming at the mouth, bucking like a bronco with poop all over her tail and ears almost bleeding from the muzzle. I understand now why she panics when we pull in. During covid we weren't allowed in with her and my son took her last year so I didn't know they've been doing this to her for 3 years. Don't trust them alone with your pet.

Dr. Fauser is absolutely wonderful!!! Holt veterinary clinic has been my family vet for 36 years. They are great people and very knowledgeable. From kittens to elderly cats to end of life care, these folks have taken great care of my fur babies!

Had my first appointment with my Dog today. From the veterinarian assistant to Dr Jenny , I found the entire team very loving and caring . I feel like my dog is in great hand . I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets. If I could give more then 5 star I would . Thank you Dr Jenny and team.

I'm new to Mason and needed a vet ASAP on Halloween evening. Dr Copeland has been caring for my daughters cats and happened to be in the office when we called just before closing. She saw my cat by staying late, and was able to determine what, why, and what to do with a few questions and tests. Very happy to know basic blood work can be done in office. Gage had immediate relief and a quick response to treatment, I scheduled my other cat for his annual and shots and the team called my previous vet for his past work. Very professional and caring even with a cat that is stressed. The practice requests a call from the parking lot for your wait, which is a good practice to prevent fleas and other cross pet transmissions. A mask to accompany pet. No big deal when my pets are concerned.

Sadly Dr. Fauser retired last year and the new vets are not so caring. As of January 2022 they STILL won't let us in exam rooms with our pets. I'm not real comfortable waiting in my car for their diagnosis. We deserve to see X-rays and other test results. These animals are important to us, imagine dropping your human babies off!! I would never recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pets.

This clinic did not work well with my difficult dog. The Vet actually wanted me to medicate him to bring him to the clinic as she was unable to work with him otherwise. His current doctor was able to complete an exam with him unmuzzled. The clinic was fine with my pets who are less intense. They also kicked my pets out of the practice after I left a review on their Facebook page indicating that I would not recommend the clinic to anyone that has a dog with challenging behaviors. I am not here to cause anyone harm; however, as a pet parent I think it is valuable to share my experience to prevent other difficult animals from the unneeded stress of seeing a Vet that does not work well with them.

LOVE Holt Vet Clinic and Dr. Copeland! Followed her from Miller Animal Clinic, and really appreciate the thorough care she provides. Because of the pandemic, the staff have really worked out a great system, and it seems to work well, and they are always well within the timeframe for appointments! Dr. Copeland also accommodated an emergency in the middle of the day for a friend with an injured dog. I like the fact that its a smaller practice, with more personal care, and after going once a month, I pretty much recognize everyone, and they certainly remember my dogs by name and behavior!! Great place to take our most beloved family members!! Highly recommend!!

Dr Copeland was taking care of my dogs at Miller and I followed her when she moved. My dogs love seeing her and her staff, and they’re always equally happy to see my dogs. The care has been wonderful, even when chasing down a mystery illness with one of my dogs that required multiple visits and specialist visits. The staff is always friendly and cheerful and the curbside service is handled well.

I have known Dr. Julie Copeland for over a decade. She is an outstanding diagnostician. On multiple occasions she has gone out of her way to help me with my pets. She is an experienced, dedicated, compassionate veterinarian. Nobody works harder for you than Dr. Julie. I have known Dr. Jennifer Seifferlein for over 20 years. Her knowledge and compassion have helped me when I had to make some difficult decisions with my animals. She takes the time to explain everything so you have a clear understanding of what is going on. Both of these vets have always been there for me when my animals needed them. I would not hesitate to bring my fur babies to Holt Veterinary Clinic.

My husband and I came here this past Tuesday for our geriatric cat to be seen and we ultimately decided to have put to sleep due to advanced kidney failure. Everybody here was so caring and explained everything to us at that difficult time.Highly recommend.

Dr. Fauser and his staff are wonderful. They've been a huge support through the care of my Fur kids. My elderly kitty, Peaches aka Peachy Kitty hasn't felt well since the weekend; she awoke with a swollen lower jaw today. I called first thing and they worked her in to their schedule. I appreciate the good care and follow through. For years, Holt Veterinary Clinic has cared for all my family's Fur People.

Really good office with friendly employees. It's always clean and they are very courteous when it comes to keeping unpleasant animals from interacting. The vet(there may be more than one, I've only met the older man) is really nice and seems to be really liked by my dog.

Today was my first and only visit. I agreed to a steep intake cost of over $100 based on a floor estimate of $300 for cat dental work.After the intake visit was over and I was charged, I was given a new floor estimate of $530. A discouraging attempt to find a solution to make it more affordable and closer to the expectation that I had going in was a waste of time. The staff showed little empathy, understanding, or willingness to help. It felt as if they know a certain number of new customers will drop off after receiving an inflated surprise new estimate, and they were fine with the money that they made from the intake.My experience can be grouped in with timeshare and pyramid schemes. If you are looking for a new vet, there are other options in the area that are likely more honest and upfront. Pass on this one.

I did not have the best experience with another vet in town, but so far Holt Vet Clinic has made up for it! Curbside with an anxious cat was tough, but the staff were all sooo nice and the vet took time to explain the visit and her recommendations! Very happy with this change!

Staff are pleasent. I appreciate the environment. Very clean and calm. I also liked the doctor, whom was very calm and attentive. Four stars instead of five because they were running late and I had to wait for a while past my appointment time. However I will still be back.

Ive always had a pleasant experience and j love the new Vet but when i posted a complaint on social media about my sadness and frustration about not being able to accompany my 10 week-old fur-baby (because of continued curbside service only) and completely cried to the receptionist when talking about it….they took it as a personal slam and upon my departure handed me my 8-years worth of pet information and said “since you are unhappy with our place as you posted on FB then here are all your pet records. Go find another Vet”. Im sad that you took this so personally when i was only venting about the unending stress of curbside pet service and my visible sadness of not being able to comfort my nervous pet.

My mom took her cat here for an emergency surgery and had an amazing experience (except for some of the office staff to which she said were a bit rude. I think she overlooked this fact because of how grateful she was to Dr. Fauser). Because of her recommendation, I decided to bring my cat, Evie, here to be spayed with the hopes of this being our new vets office. However, when I first arrived to drop her off the morning of surgery, the office staff were very rude to me. Had it not been for my moms glowing recommendation of Dr. Fausers ability I would NOT have left my cat here. I would have turned around and walked right out. When I came to pick her back up, I was greeted a bit friendlier but also could tell the receptionist (maybe she was a vet assistant, im not really sure) was very flustered and my paperwork was not organized. When I came back for her checkup, I was greeted again by rude office staff. It should be noted that I did not see Dr. Fauser for her checkup as I believe it had fallen on a vacation week for him (which is completely understandable) so my interactions and opinions of him as a vet are based solely on one personal experience and then my moms long experience. I believe him to be an exceptional vet, but because of the office staff, I will not be returning with either three of my fur babies. I care a lot about their health and their comfortableness and I wont take them some place that I feel has a bad atmosphere and uncaring staff.
