Do not shop here they ripped me off and refused to to anything more then take 39. Cents off another piece. I bought an under sink kit last night to install this morning to find a coupler was missing no big deal just exchange it. Nope not here they didn't have one but they had a box of parts that had one turns out they are a $1.39 yes they charge me extra dollar for it instead of replacing what the kit lacked. Not an honest business to take parts out of things then charge the customer for the so called extra parts. No wonder they have extra parts when the kits they sell are lacking things.

Went to buy supplies to finish a project. Showed associate my list, was told what aisle to find what I needed. With so many different things to choose from I needed more help but associates were to busy talking amongst themselves to notice me waiting there to ask for help. I'll just go to Home Depot where you expect to be ignored.Wish it never quit being employed by McKay people.

I went in today absolutely speechless and couldn’t explain what I needed. I was helped by two associates. One was a young man, dark hair, dark rimmed glasses. And the young girl with glasses, and very sweet charm to her, unfortunately did not catch their names. They were extremely helpful and so kind. I really had the full experience of a small town hardware store. Thank you for all your help and just existing.

Don’t order anything online for in store pick-up. I attempted this on two separate occasions and was met with poor customer service both times. Their employee, Travis, specifically behaved in an extremely unprofessional manner almost as if I was inconveniencing his day. He said that he wasn’t even sure that I was at the correct store and the store more than likely didn’t have what I had payed for and had already been notified via email that was ready to be picked up. Even after showing the online receipt with correct store address and confirmation of payment.

Not one person of the 4-5 I saw in uniform asked if I needed help with something. Ironically I did. Now normally I might ask for help on my own. However when they are sitting in lawn Chairs in the center aisle. Talking about how they aren’t motivated, being loud and obnoxious and the cashier is loud and boisterous. This place is in a real decline. I’ll go to kerton lumber up the street or drive into fenton 8 minutes before I come back here. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great place to get just about anything you need for inside or outside home repairs and equipment. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Forget the big box stores, the prices are decent plus they actually know what they are talking about, unlike the super size stores. It's amazing how much stuff the have in that store! Great store and employees

The staff was very helpful and took care of me. The store had what I needed and was open until 7 p.m. no a Saturday I live closer to the Ace in Grand Blanc but they close at 6 p.m. I think all Ace hardware's should be open until 7 p.m. on Saturday. I would recommend go a little bit out of your way go shop at Holly Ace!!!

Local (1 mile) and loyal customer and I've always liked the store. Today, the manager (as she puts her mask back on) extends a hand holding a mask to me and repeats, "sir, per the executive order". I responded that I can't wear one per health reasons and she ultimately asked me to leave. On the way out I see 2 employees with their noses out of the masks and the cashier not wearing one at all (her for medical reasons as well). Hardly anyone in the store, wouldn't have been within 6ft of anyone and told to leave.

Didn't have EVERYTHING I needed, but I was also dealing with some very old parts, so I wasn't surprised, or upset. Got excellent help from everyone I dealt with. Having just moved to the area, I'm happy they're there, and don't have to drive to Home Depot for everything I need.

I have lived in the area since 2012 and had no idea this location even existed. I usually drive all the way to Clarkston.Everyone I came in contact with was great. The lady working in the area where they make keys was super nice and took the time to help me find the bolts and washers my husband sent me out to get.For the sake of their employees, I hope they get their ac repaired. It was a tad on the warm side in there today.

I go into the store for a few things to finish up Halloween decorating. After walking through the store for a while and getting no help I seek out an employee. I find one sitting in the paint area on his personal cell phone. I ask him if they have two of things I need and I get a "no" without even looking up from his phone. No follow up from him at all. Just rude and unhelpful in this store.

Love the staff and selection of products. Only problem is I have bought three different ace brands of sprinklers that are suppose to rotate and got them home and they work the first time then stop. Today I bought my 3rd one thinking it couldn't happen again and sure enough it did. Tomorrow I will be returning another one and going with a different brand.

This place was formally Thom's Hardware Store and it offered a wider variety of screws, nuts and bolts. Thom's Hardware also offered more services such as: small engine repair for your show blowers, weed wackers, and lawnmowers. They also would replace the pull cords used for starting your lawnmowers and snowblowers, as well as, sharpening lawnmowers blades, etc... Meanwhile, Ace Hardware offers none of these services - a hard down grade and hit to our community, as far as, convenience and small town feel for looking out for one another.

Used to like this place. But last week i tried to last min. Run there for a specific bird feeder. Called on my way to see if they had it, but made it there before they could check. 10 minutes until closing time but as i rushed in, they shut the lights off and i couldnt see anything. I left very irritated. Wont be back.
