Very knowledgeable. Has a good selection of different birds, lizards, snakes, mice, and fish available along with the pet supplies needed to care for each animal including feeder fish and a variety of bugs. His little pet Degu is the cutest thing. The reason I’m giving a one star is that I’m an asthmatic. Cigarette smell is extremely strong in there! My kids were asking to leave it was so bad. What kid WANTS to leave a pet store?!?? We had to wait on someone else that was there before us to get fish and we were next in line. If I were shopping for a bird it anything other than a fish, I wouldn’t buy it from there. Who knows how long these animals have been breathing this air and how long they’ve been stuck in this pet store. This was the second time I’ve been in it and I thought when I went in the first time that maybe it was an occasional thing. My kids were coughing and I had to take a hit off of my inhaler after leaving this place. I don’t plan on returning. Would’ve left a 5 star review otherwise. They have a long haired rabbit wandering around the store. Very pretty but don’t try to pick up. The rabbit doesn’t like it. The first time I visited I bought fish and they are still doing very well.

Beautiful animals, expertly taken care of! You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the health and maitenance of their animals. Helpful and kind staff, awesome selection of fish, reptiles, exotics, birds, and little furry friends. Hope to be back soon!

Have been going to Natures Call for quite a while now. John and Zack are always very welcoming. They have answered many questions and are very knowledgeable. They have educated my boys on ways to care for there pets and it's just nice to see people who care. They stayed oped during COVID and that was a blessing.. Thank you.

The place smells. And everything is dirty. I feel bad for the animals there. My parner overheard who i think is the owner make some rude remarks about customers when they walked in.Its probably a good thing, because of the conditions the animals are being kept in, but their whole reptile display is always almost entirely empty, left with gross waterbowls and old food. Ive seen tanks with animals in them with mold growing.If youre looking for a place that clearly cares about their animals, try Jungle Pets instead. Worth the drive. Their tanks dont have mold.Im giving two instead of one star because one emplyee is kind.

Stopped in today looking for some kind of bottom feeder for our fish tank, as my tank just isn't as clean as I'd like and fish are starting to die. After sharing some information about how long we've had the tank, what's in it I quickly learned were not maintaining it properly! I got quite a crash cores in fish care and multiple tips to make our fish happier (and alive!). We left with no fish today as they will most likely die in our current dirty tank. We will be back to purchase new aquarium friends (and get another lesson for the staff) once we have our tank happy and healthy.

I’m a loyal customer of theirs. They are always knowledgeable and if they don’t know something, they will do the research. I go to Nature’s call for crickets and rodents. Which are always in supply and the quality is top notch. Highly recommend them.

It's really nice there they don't deliver the animal to you but there super cute very healthy and I got my baby snake there you have to pay a deposit on a snake then they order it and they have every thing for snakes spiders and other reptiles they also have birds and chinchilla's there too and the service is outstanding they walk you through it all

BAD MICE!!If I could give a zero star rating I would. I came and bought 4 mice last month for my 2 citrus ball pythons and I'm 100% sure they were bad because my 1 year old, Cleo and my 6 month old, Diamond both regurgitated them a week- 2 weeks afterwards and wouldnt eat another from a different store and now my Cleo is dead. I just found him today and am very heart broken. Diamond is not acting herself so I'm very worried shes going to pass soon as well. They were both in perfect health and are/were very well taken care of. I would not suggest buying rodents from this store, atleast until they switch suppliers. 💔💔

Love this wholesome location. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They will go out of their way to assist you, and make sure you have all the tools you need to take care of your Pet. I would suggest anyone that has a question or concern to visit this location.

Horrible customer service the lady that works there is rude just because we were looking around. Knowing all about bearded dragons and living conditions how they were kept was horrible. Two males should NOT be able to see each other! They were made and looked horrible especially the baby was so sick looking crickets all over and feces all over the cage and asking $99?! Horrible. Never would I buy a reptile from here. No knowledge about them what so ever.

They've got pets and pet supplies, at tremendous markups, so if you're in Hillsdale and can't wait to get a pet...go for it. Bring your gas mask though, as there's apparently no ventilation and the aroma of urine and feces will cling to you like a dryer sheet on a towel.

The owner has a little friend named Solomon who runs around the store and plays with it's visitors. He's a degu and he's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Some times I go there just to visit Solomon.

The quality of animals by no means makes up for the terrible customer service.....not that I would really know, came in with my nephew to let him pick out a fish for his birthday and was told by the owner that he would only sell me a cheap goldfish, that died the next day I might add.

Absolutely the nastiest pet store I have ever been in, and I have been in several across the eastern US. Extremely rude man behind the counter, would not and will not EVER return to this location, and yes i would go to any other pet store including "box chain" pet store and drive 100 miles to get there.
