was checking out with alcohol, and I had my younger sister with me. They wouldnt allow me to purchase my alcohol because my sister didn’t have an ID. My sister is only two years younger than me, wasn’t purchasing, only running errands with me. Never experienced this at ANY OTHER KROGER! Thanks for making me go out my way🖕🏼

You have to love the Kroger points! Gas today was $3.59 a gallon and with my .90 cents off a gallon, I was able to fill up my tank and multiple gas cans (35 total gallons) for about 95 bucks!You do need to make sure that the grocery item price that rings up is the sale price, as sometimes they're overlooked in the system.Since I'm only there one time a month, they're really good about allowing me to come in when I'm there next to get the adjustment; even when it's a month later!

The sales and online coupons are pretty good. The clearance area and discounted meat area can be amazing. Thier milk is the only milk I will drink. Customer service is so-so, some people are great and others are more than difficult to face. Check your 'sell by' dates for a lot of things. Prices are high and keep going up. Watch sale signs, they're bad about removing old ones. Tight aisles and not the cleanest, especially the restrooms.

I shop at Kroger a lot. The one real complaint I have is, the baggers talking amongst themselves. It's annoying when you actually need them for something. You almost feel like you're being rude if you think you're going to interrupt them.

Fair prices, some of the best meats and deli around. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Have yet to experience any real issue here. They are usually very busy yet manage to keep pace so that you are not stuck waiting forever at the check outs!

Need more checkouts!! Some of us older/mature visitors DO Not want to Self checkout!! We would like to see store shelves stocked, we would like to see clean floors, like to go through check out with out having to bag our stuff! Beginning to Wonder if I need to go somewhere else?? Love the Fuel Rewards program and digital coupons plus the Kroger store brands are usually as good or better than national brands. Their self checkouts near the pharmacy are some of the best in the area. Easy to use. Experienced users can mute the 'helpful' instructions...or increase the volume if needed. The store paper bags work great in the upper rack area, so long as you use the "my own bags" button as you add them to that space.

Best store for groceries and in a phenomenal shopping area. Busy enough to be interesting, customer service is dedicated enough to reduce traffic frustrations. You won't be disappointed. The Kroger staff work soooo hard. Their work ethics are unlike anything I've ever seen, and something to be honored.

Customer service leaves much to be desired. Produce department is usually a disappointment on Friday evenings. Have had poor deli service numerous times in the past. Prices are decent. Store is convenient. Fuel points are nice.

I love using the digital coupons that I can load onto my card! And I love the Friday Freebies! !! Sometimes things are out of stock but they always give me a raincheck and I can pick it up on my next trip.

This review reflects my interaction with the Kroger pharmacy. We started using this pharmacy to have our montly prescriptions filled when Nash drugs closed and have had nothing but issues. The prescriptions aren't being filled when they are called in, leading to much longer wait times. This issue shouldn't even happen as they have a text system to let customers know that their scripts are ready for pick up, but unfortunately their system is only as good as the people running it. I was told that even though my medicine had been called in days prior that I should to call to verify that they had filled it even with their system in place. Why have a text system if customers have to call to make sure things are ready before driving there. This isn't just one issue nor one occurrence, this has happened multiple times in less than a year, so we will no longer be using Kroger for our pharmacy needs especially since there are Hometown pharmacies that have opened to accommodate the loss of Nash.

Over all I really like the Hillsdale Kroger. Always good service and good food. I do however have a question about your store policy. While shopping this last Wednesday I noticed a very nice lady with her nice little dog in the shopping cart. I have a problem putting my food in a cart where there has been a dog, no matter how nice. Can you tell me what your policy is on this? I did not see any signs or any employees taking notice. Please let me know. It seems to be a growing problem with pet owners. I like dogs but do not choose to shop where they are allowed in the food carts.

The customer is so horrible there. Went to file a complaint against something and the front desk worker was rude as hell, and I quote than don’t shop here one less customer we have to deal with and please. Reported her to the store manager she needs to loose her job! Don’t shop here not worth the time or money! Goes against their policy!

Motivated BehaviorsWhat can I say, it’s true! Too many workers now have no motivation or ambition for their jobs. People also make it a point to create personal drama in the workplace. This actually causes the overall performance of a company to go down. A perfect example is the grocery store Kroger. I worked there for just over a year and was it the worst. The management staff is completely uncoordinated and unwilling to communicate with its employees. They competently victimize their employees through lying and deceiving. In fact they let their personal conflicts rule their working habits.They willingly tried to fire me for no reason at all. When I filed a grievance the corporation managers didn’t even show up for the meeting they set up! I had to accept a buyout from the company due to these circumstances. After a few months passed I received a notice in my mail saying I was on unauthorized leave. Informing me to contact them immediately or I’m considered a voluntary quit. Then when I called, they didn’t even answer their phone. I even left messages for them to get back with me which they did not do. Completely ridiculous and immature in my opinion. At least I can say I quit instead of getting fired.The customer experience is HORRIBLE TOO. The management team is rude and deceiving. They'll literally stalk you throughout the store and EVEN OUT TO THE PARKING LOT! I would not recommend this store to anyone for either shopping or employment.

Usually I would give this Kroger 4 or 5 stars but lately the produce has been not so great, especially things like berries and green beans which have been moldy and turned. Also some of the employees are a little lax.. the stockers seem surly and not really willing to help find things
