I'm newer to Hillsdale area and I usually shop at Kroger or Walmart but I won a $10 Market House gift card from the local radio station so I stopped in today and I was shocked, definitely wasn't close to what I expected it to be. It's so cool in there with the new Underdogs restaurant and the Sushi bar and the chicken place. Not to mention but a whole grocery store as well and they have household items. The prices weren't bad at all. I ended up spending a lot more than the $10 gift card and it was so worth it! The meat looks really good and they had some things on sale throughout the store. I will definitely be back!

I've known Market house ever since I was a little boy and they have expanded a lot since I last visited. Not only do they have their own Bakery and couple restaurants inside of the building they also have an Anytime Fitness there and a Biggby Coffee! Hillsdale Market house is definitely a place to go if you want to get that only groceries but a quick bite to eat oh, and if you feel like it workout as well!

Great local own store. Looked all over for a product even big stores out of Hillsdale county and couldn't find it. Went to customer service desk to see if they could get it in. Guess what they DId!!!!!!! That's what some town is all about great service.

What a gave it five stars but they were out of numerous items that they had advertised and I drove a long way from Defiance Ohio to there only to find this information out but the butcher was very nice to me and understanding and gave me quite a discount on rivers

Just got a salad there from the salad bar it was really bad and very expensive. I wouldn't eat there again. Lettuce was turning brown. Just really bad!

Clean, well organized,prices comparable to other larger chain grocery stores. Had restaurant within the store,Sharon's House of Pancakes. Huge portions, food very good, reasonably priced. Also had chicken restaurant, full salad bar, deli. Impressed with this place@

Went in to get some Mom Waters. They had a pack on their value table.... it was $31. I can get the same pack almost anywhere else for $21ish - plus the bottle deposit. Pretty insane difference in price. I would check to make sure you're not getting ripped off if you buy from here.

Updated review:Absence of customer serviceAll 3 Self checkouts were closed , only ONE child working checkout laneNew alcohol policy is redundant when you have underage kids at the checkout lanes who then have to call an adult over to finish the checkout process for us PAYING customers. Unfriendly staff, they don’t seem like they want to be here.Shop anywhere else , totally not worth it.Hudson location is 100% better . Or Walmart

It's more about Sharon house of pancakes there customers service is horrible and they do not listen to your orders at all and think they know what you want and when you bring food back to the counter they runaway saying I did not do anything

I placed a cake order almost 2 weeks ago, for this weekend. Called days before to check on order, only to find out the one person that does cakes is on vacation and cant do the cake. Communication obviously isn't a priority there….

Always have what I need in a small setting makes it very fast. Great selection of beer wine liquor meat veggies salad bar it has a little of everything for anyone it's definitely a hotspot of goodies

Great place to shop. The employees are friendly and always helpful. It's easy to get in and out quickly when you are in a hurry. Love their garlic toast! It's nice to have restaurants right there for a quick bite to eat 😉

Staff seems like they don't want to be there most of the time. Prices are better at other stores in area. Produce selection is best in town in my opinion, so they have that going for them. Kinda a meh place.

I like the Market House chain. Prices are often a bit higher than other places. They do have a fair variety of items to choose from, which I value. There's plenty of parking. It couples with a Bigbys and a fitness center. Altogether, fairly nice.

Not my favorite place to buy groceries, but it is better then Walmart. Staff is helpful and the store is clean. I love the bakery and get donuts hear often. I do like the convenience of shopping more local and would always suggest this for picking up a quick and small list. I would like to see more specific allergy foods. We have a diary free member in are family and it is hard some times to find diary free products.I do thank the meat and produce is fresh and I enjoy grilling what they have on special.

Always like shopping the sales. Good variety of produce, meats and bakery items. Try their fresh store baked breads! My favorite is their sourdough, but the marble rye is really good also. They also have beautiful cakes if you need one last minute and their cookies are delicious!
