Had never visited the store before , I think the young lady who worked there could tell, and asked what I'm looking for, I was getting pet food, she took me right to it, and asked me if I was all set, and I was, so she went to help another customer, I didn't get her name but she was very kind & helpful, when I went to check out Jaimie the store manager was also very helpful. It was a great experience and great customer service.

Bought a lot of different items here through the years. Prices are moderate. Loads of space in the parking lot and if you need a kayak or yard stuff they are winding down for the season.

I bought a bag of KrackCorn carmel corn, and I'm disappointed on the flavor. Tasted like sugar coated popcorn. Not carmel flavor. Oh well!

Great experience through the whole process, well stocked shelves, good prices, clean store, check out was fast and smooth, there was only one big issue. A gentleman, who I am assuming is the manager, had the front door propped open and was standing 5 feet from the entrance smoking a cigarette. The smoke was rolling into the store and it made my pregnant wife and I very upset with this being that the state law is 50 feet from the entrance and we shouldn’t have to smell your cigarette INSIDE THE STORE! There really should be better choice being made by any employee let alone a manager.

A lot of the isles were blocked by items or stocking carts. We love the items and prices, but it was so hard this time to get around. We also noticed they have a larger selection of chicks than another store that carries them as well.Everyone was very helpful, and we did get what we needed for our chickens. We had to have someone grab some items because the isles were blocked.

Was able to find my husband new rubber boots for work the good boog brand on sale 30 dollars cheaper than normal. Thanks for such a nice deal they are holding up very well on the concrete floor at his work.

Usually stop here for hard to find fasteners. Good selection of hard to find items, but the drawers are almost always out of order and the product in the bin never matches the reference layout on the lid. So you spend 1/2 an hour looking through all the slots looking for the correct size.

We stop in there almost every sat. In the past we have asked animal related questions and unfortunately they were not able to be answered. Last week we meant Fred who is a great addition to the store. He knows so much about animals and offers great advice. He’s very friendly and super helpful.

Very large very clean well-organized hardware store. The employees seem to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a very wide selection household supplies Hardware Etc. Parking lot is very nice very accessible. I highly recommend this place for your household Hardware needs.

Tons of stuff. Look slow and take your time. You'll miss what you needed. Oil prices compete with Walmart. Along with many other items. Within 24 hours I see a reply from the owner to my review. Another reason in 2021 that gets my vote for customer awareness and service. Owner and team, your welcome. Thank you

The man in charge, and his second in charge (maybe his gf), were too busy to help. He was talking to his friend about personal business, and she was not interested in helping and made it clear. However, the cashier was very helpful, and I was sorry for her as she was the only one who cared to be helpful. The two in charge were only there for a paycheck. I know good help is hard to find, but that was plain sic. I had been here before when other people were working here, and it was totally different. Before, although busy, the people would be helpful.. I will miss shopping here.

My first purchase at this newly opened store was a $2000.00 lawn tractor. The manger did a good job answering our questions, but when we came back to get it, the assistant who rang it up was apparently never taught to say "thank you". Guess he doesn't know where his paycheck comes from, or doesn't care.When we got it home, the battery was dead, so I charged it, and it dropped again. After the third time, I called the store and they told me to bring it in. When I took it in the following Monday morning, the assistant basically ignored me and the manager said he needed to test the battery.I told him I had charged it three times only to see it drop within an hour.He responded with "I don't know what you had on it, " basically implying that I didn't know how to charge a battery. When he had satisfied himself that it was indeed defective, he handed the new one to me and said "Tell the lady up front that we're all set. Apparently, "I'm sorry for your trouble" was not in his vocabulary.I told the clerk up front that I would not be back, and I won't. I worked in sales and marketing for over 30 years, and people who can't smile, apologize, or say "I'm sorry" do not, I repeat DO NOT belong in retail. Neither of the managers act like they want to be in the store. At least we have that in common.

When everyone else was out of generators during a large power outage. Farm an home had 25 in stock. Maybe not the largest variety of products but just what you need when you need it. This year it's chicken's. 6 chicks, all the food and nest boxes. Great staff.

Gave this store a second and third chance -- I do like to follow the Golden Rule -- went in last week to make a small purchase but the young lady at the check out had no desire to assist. I finally said, "No problem, I'll just go to TSC" and she replied with "Okay." Yeah, you read that right! I doubt this store will survive, but I'm wrong a lot, so we'll see. If it does, it won't be because I'm shopping there. TSC has been pretty helpful lately, and I quickly got what I needed and had a brief friendly chat with the nice woman at the front. So I'll drive the extra few miles to feel like I matter. (Would give negative stars for this visit, as I wasted my time, but one is the minimum unfortunately.)

Family Farm & Home almost always has what I need. I stock up on our pallets of wood heating pellets from them because they're the most affordable source in this area. I've purchased as much as 10 full pallets at a time from them without issue. They're also my go to place when I need some bolts, a nut, some PVC, chainsaw blade, mower belt, and things like that. The time and fuel I save from driving to Coldwater, Jackson, or Adrian make any premium on price well worth it. I've always had great experiences with Brandon although I don't care much for the other assistant manager Lacey. I've had bad interactions with her on multiple occasions and she's the only reason this is a 4 star instead of a 5 star review.UPDATE: I attempted to purchase 10 bags (50 bags on a pallet) of ProPellet heating fuel pellets during a winter storm in 1/2022. I called ahead and was told they had 6 full pallets on-hand, but upon arrival I was told they would only be selling them as full pallets. Normally I might understand this however, they had NO other pellets (other than cherry pits I don't burn) available for their customers. Another gentleman in the store needed 15 bags of pellets so FF&H could have had half the pallet sold immediately, but we both ended up having to go to TSC in Jonesville to get them. After this experience, I WILL NOT BE BACK to Family Farm & Home. I think making sure your customers can heat their homes during frigid winter temperatures should be a priority to the management, and the corporation. Especially when the customers are willing to pay a little more (bag price Vs pallet price) for it.

Went to get a burning barrow. They said that they had two in stock. Purchase it at the counter. Had me drive up front to load it. They couldn't find one. Had me drive to the back of the store. Couldn't find one. Back up front. Manager said inventory off. I drove25 miles for nothing. Thanks.

I made a comment to the cashier about her rudeness, she told me to "shut up" I've not seen nothing yet im a "mom". Tractor supply is more friendly, knowledgeable and cheaper
