Bizarre and extremely HIGH prices.Can of Pringles $3.29 (My local store 2.50 often 2 for 3)16oz store brand vegetable oil $6.49 (crisco 16oz 3.99. my store brand is 3.99 for 48oz)Malt O Meal golden puffs 25oz $7.29 (my store has 17.7 malt o meal golden puffs for only 2.99)Marie Calenders 15oz pot pie $6.39 (3.79).Just a few examples. WILL NOT BE BACK

Nice little town store. Haven't been here on years. Very surprised by the variety of items. May not be a lot of options per item but it has all your essentials and then some.

The prices at this grocery store, just WOW. They really take advantage of the fact most people are trying to avoid going to Alpena. We bought an 6 pack of Hersheys there and then stopped at the gas station just down the road and the same pack was $4 cheaper!!! And that goes for almost everything in that store, way more expensive than it should be. I can understand upcharging a little for a convenience fee of sorts, but they over-do it as you can see from other reviews. Be prepared to dish out more cash even for smaller purchases, because it adds up fast.

Small town grocery store for community. Good variety and selection. Obviously higher prices than box stores in Alpena, etc. But, great to have locally. We've purchased staples and ribs, very satisfied with everything. Glad it is here. Very good customer service.

Clean, spacious full line grocery. On sight butcher, excellent choice of cuts. An entire aisle of craft brews and huge walk-in of chilled domestic. The staff really like working there, and it shows in the quality of my experiences shopping there.

This IGA in Hillman has been there for many years. We go there on our annual fishing trip. While their prices are a little high, it saves a trip to Alpena when there are a few ingredients that our campsite forgot to get.

OMG!!! Visited this past weekend, needed groceries, blown away at the prices, beyond belief! Maybe owners are in need to increase prices, but again blown away! Would make the drive to Alpena, maybe some can’t. ARGH!

Been stopping here since the late 1960. Last stop before cabin. Like any store you have to watch things. I never have recieved unfriendly experience. If you want that big city experience drive the 30 + miles to Neuman in alpena. Not to say neuman isnt great store. But who wants to waste time gas .

Even if you are a paying customer there are no restrooms available - DO NOT STOP HERE OF YOU HAVE A CHILD (or anyone) THAT NEEDS TO THE USE THE BATHROOM. Ridiculous.

Bought couple cans of mac n beef got home found out they expire OCT 10 2011 other cans expire 2016Look at a ham expire June 2019 they wonder why you drive buy, two cars in parking lot dollar general has ten cars
