This place has saved me quite a few times on stuff I needed. We come up for vacation at our property and I always need something and go back at least 2 to 3 time a day sometimes and they are all great!!! Very friendly and fast service

Ace Hardware here and before, in Owosso, sends coupons the more we shop. They make us feel part of the community. They'll order things or give coupons, if possible. Very nice, every one of them.

Employees need to learn how to take no as an answer. If you ask me if I need help and I say no I don't need you following me around the store harassing me about every item I am looking for. I just want to be left alone to browse for Fs sake.

Hillman ace is one of the best stores I've been to anywhere from Texas to Michigan they're always helpful polite and honestly one of my all time favorite stores to visit.Much props to everyone there yall keep it going

They are very knowledgeable and help me get the things I need. I've had such a good experience with all the workers George is one of my favorites and always takes the time to dumb it down for me. I will have a whole basket of stuff and he will show me I only need 3 or so items. Awesome customer service can't say it enough.

Employees don't seem real familiar with products. When asking questions I was told to Google it. Store seemed reasonably stocked with supplies but if your looking for help look elsewhere.

Always friendly and helpful. No need to try and find help, they will find you. Prices are excellent which normally a small store in a small city has high prices. This ACE has prices to compete with the bigger DIY franchises.

I am very grateful for the help I received from the employees there today. I had tried to fill my tires at the air station at BP gas station but the pump didn't work and was deflating my tire rather than filling it. By the time I realized it the tire was too low to drive. I went across the street and the young lady there lent me her portable air pump so I could fill my tire enough to bring my car across the street so they could use their air pump to fill my tire the rest of the way. I was on my way to work on what will be a very hectic day in retail. Thank you guys so much for saving me some time and going above and beyond! Merry Christmas!

While the employees are helpful and knowledgeable, I was appalled that when I was in there today, not a single employee nor customer, other than myself, was wearing a mask or any protective gear to protect their customers from possible harm. I informed the local health district of their violations. I can not trust someone or any business that operates in direct opposition to reality.

UPDATE: I spoke with the manager who was very nice and she was truly upset by her staff's behavior. She has made it right with me so I am changing my initial review. This manager really cares about her store and it's customers.If there were negative stars that is what I would give. Worst experience ever! Instead of helping an out-of-town customer by letting him use a wrench to put on a trailer hitch that he just bought from them, he was met with sarcasm from an employee saying "I can sell you one for $30. It's your fault for not bringing one with you". SERIOUSLY??!!! Rude, unprofessional and has no clue what their tag line "ACE is the place with the HELPFUL Hardware Man" means.
