April 23, 2024 Tuesday, I entered the Highland Park dollar tree, to be surprised by the neatest, cleanest of stores. Not since opening day has this store been so organized. I commented to the two cashiers it's so clean.. They asked I give review. So here it is.

Honestly I’m speechless and that’s virtually impossible for me. These pictures truly don’t reflect the absolute level of lack of sanitation in this location. I love Dollar Tree especially for quick craft items and school supplies. Stopped in this location picking up a few items, but literally nothing was in stock or many items had been opened and placed back on the shelves.The floors appeared as if they’d never been cleaned. Actually looked worse than outdoors. I recall when this location opened, it’s fairly new. So it was more than disappointing to see this. Honestly there are multiple layers needing to be addressed, Poor management, expectations of employees and customers upgraded to reflect a standard that encourages patrons to treat the establishment with care and employees to lead by example.This didn’t happen in one day. This is the reflection of continuous diminished work ethics and patrons being allowed to throw trash down without being called out. Companies need to pay employees what their worth, and ensure they ENOUGH employees are staffed to meet customer supply and demand. I sadly have to give one Star because my overall experience was horrible.

Worst dollar tree ever!!They close whenever they want, what’s the point of having hours posted online if you pick and choose the times you want to close?? Store is always unorganized. This store gives dollar tree a nasty reputation.

11/1/23 10:33am1 line open with at least 10.people standing in line. No manager in sight to give the cashier some assistance. Another employee was on rhe floor stocking and chatting with a customer. Rhis is the time management should step in and assist. But I can only assume they could care less. Our .only is valued, but not the actual human being spending the money.

AS AN EMPLOYEE: Yes the store looks like it wasnt loved as a child but the staff at this particular dollar tree are kind and helpful workers who put in hours to see to it that your experience sucks as little as possible.If you see me there...Im Steven tall, skinny, light skinned. You know me! Lol. Its not horrible but it needs work and we know it. We are working diligently to make the store more visually appealing as well as easier to navigate and find what you are looking for.Thank you for your time. See you soon.

I am 70 yrs young, I was told rightfully that talking the cart outside was not allowed.As I was picking up my $35. worth of goodies my bags collapsed. I scooped up some of my things, took them to the car. Went back the door keeper picked up my torn bags handed them to me with my items piled on top. I feel new bags should have been given.Next time I will bring my own bags.Treating customers with respect should be paramount in this DAY AND TIME. THANK YOU!

I will not comment on the ground of the store; I believe this the most cleanest #DollarTree. It's well organized and the customerservice nice. Items are kind of low on things, but I think that's becus of the location it's very busy. I came from Westbloomfield and the #DollarTrees over there isn't as neat as this 1. Good job ladies. I only came in to grab 1 item but of course I got other stuff and not what I went in for lol. Stay blessed.

Not sure who the young man is with the braids but he was so nice and even though my husband and I were only getting a few things he made you feel good about shopping there. I tried to call the corporate office to let them know how great this young man was but was put on hold for 45 minutes during my lunch break. I really hope they have enough sense to hold on to this young man. He could teach customer services

Staff is late opening up and they have customers waiting outside. If the place opens at 9am you’re coming in after 9 and then making customers still wait until they get the store ready. Very unprofessional.

Dar tree was excellent for me I needed help with item on shelf assistance was right there I needed assistance with loading items in car the gentleman workers in the store were very helpful thank you dollar tree.

Ghetto, terrible customer service. They open late and close early whenever they feel like it. If you can ever do yourself a favor, dont shop here cause the experience is not worth it.

Dollar Tree, generally has one of the largest & best selections, all for a "dolla'!"This place was no different. I still spent Six bucks on a One dollar trip.

DO NOT go close to closing time because the staff make sure everyone knows that it's time to Go! Cashier was a rude! She rolled her eyes and thought she had it all together! Believe me she didn't!
