Terrible customer service. Kicked out just asking for product location.We made a nearly 4 hour trip to go to the Detroit zoo and stopped at this family dollar on the way because we realized we didn't have a bag to carry our food in. My boyfriend went in to look for a backpack or something of the sort and asked an employee where they would be if they had them and got kicked out for it.

First and last time shopping at this location. The staff was very nice and on point but the prices at this location are 50 cent& higher than my normal location just about 2 miles away. I paid a dollar more for body wash, canned peaches 60cent more, and soap. I was very disappointed. Thank goodness I had coupons because the only thing the same price as my usual location was the Unstoppable scent beads and laundry detergent. People shop at this company for its low prices but this location is defeating the purpose….

Isles are cramped, with a lot of products on the floor. The store could be more organized, but I don't blame the employees because they are understaffed. Service is always good, though, even with the pressure the employees have to deal with.

I would like to begin with Management went in to the store at 24148 Hazel Park Woodward Hts, with my mom I met with the manager had a pleasant attitude as I was inquiring about positions within the store he directed me as to what to do, an I done just that. He has nice demeanor, and was professional. Hence, I walk around the store , it’s better than other (Family Dollar )stores I have been to. However, there were lots of merchandise that needed to be place on shelving but overall if I had to rate store out of 10 on the scale, I would give it an 8 not so bad . Furthermore, the prices were affordable, and the employees were very attentive and accommodating to me, they’re doing their best. Thank you to the one who assisted me Hope to be part of the team .

I normally only go to this store bc it's close and they're open until 10pm. I went in tonight and the staff rudely informed me I had 5 minutes to shop even though it was 9:40. When I asked her don't you choose at 10 she said nope quarter til. I walked out and went to Kroger. They need to retrain their staff on customer service and if 10 is closing that's when they should close.

I just visited this location a few moments ago. I had to stop and share this story. For starters the older gentleman was a darling, so sweet! The manager there, he has blonde hair and a studded belt on, is an absolute Angel! I just lost my dad and lost my home(tree through the roof), I went to family dollar to pick up some clothes and had to put some items back. He went out of his way to get me the drinks I had took off my bill. Such a small act of kindness with a huge impact. Thank you for making me smile!

Very rude management. Was over charged 26 dollars and the manager didn't care. She made up every excuse why I wasn't. I tried to show her my phone and she didn't care. Actually she acted prejudice. The store manager was laquita or so she said. Never go there.

I had stopped patronizing this store because it was always so messy and dirty, to my surprise it was clean, organized, and brightly lit! I was immediately impressed when I walked in after not being in this store for more than a year maybe longer, Persona of the store has changed drastically for the good! Way To Go~ you have a new old customers patronizing your store my daughter and myself! New Store Manager? He/she deserves some recognition for a job well done! Many of the shelves were not filled and/or the isles were a bit cluttered. One manager is most helpful and very professional. One manager is rude and impatient. Maybe, it is best to shop at this store after, the 10th of the month!

Went in to buy a t- shirt. When I was standing in line I felt like I was in a dirty pool hall. The profanity from the cashiers were unprofessional. Classless and disgusting

This place is disrespectful dirty and the employees r very rude . I went up there the other night 15 min b4 they closed and the door was locked lights were on and the lady standing at the door told me that they were closed and when I told her I still had fifteen minutes left she told me f off and walked away . I'll never go to one of there stores every again

I love the Family Dollar brand Q-tips but they’ve been out of stock for at least two weeks. I just moved back into town from another state and I’ve been checking at the store particularly because it’s close to my house over a two-week period for this item shelves are still not stocks with anything really. Very disappointing

different stores has different services. I love Family Dollar, but not all of them. Most are clean, polite, and convenient. They're better quality than regular Dollar Stores, like Dollar General or 99 cents and up stores, but not as popular as K Marta or Targets. I'm very happy with whoever came up with them. Makes my life easier.

I quit shopping here after I realized their scam. Almost everything in the store is priced one way on the shelf and cost more at the register. If you are not paying attention, you will get ripped off. If you shop there write down the shelf price, before you get to the register.

Pulled into the parking lot at 8pm on 9-22-2021, both people working saw me, they quickly locked the store, left a sign saying be back in 20 minutes, and took off in their vehicles, extremely unprofessional and rude. They saw me and literally ran to their vehicles to leave.

A great place to find great value, especially for smart shoppers who use the fd app and coupon clip. Combine that with the 5 off 25 on most Saturdays and you can have major savings

They always have the things I need, I went here to get some twinkies box of 10 for $3.75 or 2 boxes for $ 6.50. Love my twinkies.

The Hazel Park Family Dollar is BY FAR My favorite location! Staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, ALWAYS willing to help! Store is well stocked, usually ALWAYS have what you're looking for. Other locations could learn a LOT from this store!

Prices on certain things like Marvel Action figures for example are less expensive than bigger department stores. Located at a good location. Workers seem disinterested but get the job done.

This Family Dollar on John R, north of Woodward Hts in Hazel Park, is well-stocked. Some of the prices are above a buck. But I'm often amazed at what a buck can still buy. Well worth a visit if you need paper goods, batteries, cups, glasses, bowls...and a million other things.

This store is ALWAYS out of something. No matter the day or time. Store is always cluttered with what looks like new match that needs to be put away. Which seems like the norm for all family dollars.

The cashiers are extremely slow and too busy catching up and flirting with customers than ringing. I have never been there when there wasn't a line down the aisle.
