My cat was sick and I couldn’t let her suffer so the vet euthanized her and I was hysterical, but they were so incredibly nice to me and patient even though I wouldn’t stop crying. They even sent me flowers. This is really a very nice vet and I will always take my pets here ❤️

Not exactly my dog's favorite place to go but it's always a great experience! Athena is a bit dramatic, the doctors and techs have been nothing but respectful and understanding of the way she reacts to things. She is a husky mix so she is very vocal. Very thankful for this animal hospital!

I have had excellent experiences at Haslett Animal Hospital! My dog, Ivy was really sick and I was in the office several times during the week. Everyone was extremely helpful over the phone and in person during a stressful time. Dr Abby was amazing and I can’t thank her enough! She took time with Ivy and to run the correct tests to determine how to treat her appropriately, even when MSU did not. Would definitely recommend Haslett Animal Hospital!

I took my 3 cats in there, I took 2 in at once because they were losing weight. They did a physical on both of the cats found one that had cancer. I took in my third cat because I thought he was dying because I couldn't find him for awhile. They checked his lungs and blood work. She said she didn't like his breathing but couldn't find anything wrong with him. Next morning I had to rush him to the vet emergency room. Turns out he had a collapsed lung. Really bad if they checked his lungs and didn't see anything wrong with him.Also after she checked my two cat I took in he was getting worse. I took him to cedar Creek clinic they did a physical and he had a mass in his stomach. Less than I month I took him in haseltt animal hospital. They couldn't find anything wrong with him either they said he just had a sinus infection. The mass was big and the vet at cedar Creek told me a mass that big has been there more than a month. Nearly killed both of my cats.I would definitely not be going back.

I took my beagle here a few months ago to get her anal glands expressed. The vet said nothing came out and they were fine. I knew this was wrong, because my beagle had been doing the butt scoot boogie on my carpet for the last week or so. And every time she does that, I know it's time to get them expressed. I took her to East Lansing Vet, and had her anal glands expressed there. They were full! I won't be back here again.

We've been seeing Dr. Fitzpatrick for our dogs and cats since moving to the area last year. We were nervous about having to find a new vet because we loved our vet out west and we knew she was irreplaceable, but Dr. Fitzpatrick has been amazing. She is very attentive to our pets and to us. She always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and present the different options, and she is great about returning phone calls. It's obvious she truly cares not only about our pets, but also about us pet-parents.

The veterinarians and staff treated our dog great during his checkups and for boarding! 🐕 He was always happy and comfortable when we dropped him off for boarding. The staff was very comforting to my wife and I when our dog passed away. Thank you for everything you did for our family and for helping us during a hard time! We really appreciate it!

We recently moved to the area and were a little stressed out with finding a new vet because one of our dogs has some rare, bizarre issues.We drove past here one night, called the next day and had an appointment the same week.Dr. Wagner was SO thorough and kind. Yael was an incredible help as well. I am so glad we found this animal hospital. Thank you all!

They were knowledgeable and zoned right in on what our cat's diagnosis was. Unfortunately, we lost him to something incurable. They also helped with the cremation. Amazing service and caring staff!

How do you get an extra $10 for your business? Write a script for a minimum amount of a medication then charge to renew it.My lady friend's pet is chronically ill. I have a little over $900 in things I have paid for. She is well into the thousands. To date, still not a firm diagnosis. Tagging us with yet another $10 on top of that seems to be trite and abusive.I was told "That's just our policy.". I asked for them to provide me the person who set said policy and I would tell them that they also should be ashamed of themselves as well. Nobody showed up.

I have been taking our dogs here for 6 years. The vets are generally good and communicate well. However, you are almost always put on hold when you call in. About a year ago one of our dogs was acting very strangely when we went for our daily walk - he wouldn't move. I called in at 9:15 am and asked if I could bring him in that day and was told they were full and couldn't get him in. After all of the money I have spent at this place over the years I couldn't believe they wouldn't try to squeeze him in sometime that day. I expressed my irritation and they called back and got him in. Recently, I had an issue/question I wanted to discuss with the office manager. I left a detailed message two days ago and he didn't get a call back. I just called and he wouldn't get on the line. Was playing "telephone" back and forth with the receptionist as he communicated with her. The place is ok but operationally they could do a lot better with customer service, follow-up and communication.I am now responding to the response I received here. You could have gotten on the phone to talk to me (I left a message and you didn't call back 2 days ago and I was following up). The receptionist called me "Kellie" several times - and it was clear I was being screened. You don't even know the exact specifics of the reason I called (the rescue has a credit card you can bill) because you would not speak with me directly. And instead of calling me directly you are responding here. All you need to do is call/speak directly instead of hiding.

Absolutely five star quality care. My cat had to go in for emergency surgery and they treated him like he was their own. I was kept informed the whole time he was there and they have called to check on him a few times since then. I will continue to bring him there because I know he will receive excellent care.

Over priced and can’t bill accurately. In the past 4 visits they haven’t billed me properly while there. They have either over charged me or call for additional hundred dollars for 2 vaccines.

We had 3 cats at home. One had never been there before and was old and sick so I called haslett animal hospital to set up an appointment. I called on a Friday afternoon and they unfortunately couldnt get us in until Monday morning. We took the appointment, and they gave us some pointers, the number of an emergency vet they recommended, and put us on a cancelation list to try to speed things along. Unfortunately, her health issues required more immediate care and we ended up putting her to sleep. Haslett Animal hospital not only called to check in on us,bit they also sent a sympathy card when they learned of her passing. We were so touched that when we got our doggo, we added him as a patient as well. The staff is so incredibly caring, thorough, and polite. The facilities are clean and bright. The staff is beyond wonderful. Prices are pretty typical, but they are transparent about pricing and seek permission before doing anything. Big fan, and will keep coming back!

Dr Fitzpatrick is wonderful! Was very sweet, compassionate and helpful when we found out that our cat had polycystic kidney disease. Only black mark I can give is when we brought her in to see if it was time to put her down. We saw the other vet there and they gave us our options and we ended up making the hard decision to put her down. I let them know that we didn’t have the money to cremate her and bring her home so we would leave her there for them to take care of her however they do, and NO ONE said that we would still have to pay the cremation fee. They just said okay and that I’d just have to pay the appointment, euthanasia and the paw print that we got. So I go back to pay when the print came in and got slapped with that additional charge. So I had to still pay the cremation and wasn’t able to bring her ashes back home because they obviously didn’t have them. And one of her paw prints is smudged/goofed up

They're okay. I feel like I keep getting surprises with prices. I didn't know that they vaccinated against canine influenza, something I never heard of, which has less than 10% mortality and I only found out they did it to him when they called to let me know as I was getting established in their hospital. They're close to home which is great. The groomer knows how to deal with German shepherds which is another great thing! The ladies are helpful, and it's very clean in there.

I have had so many positive experiences with this clinic. They not only have taken amazing care of my cat, but their staff is all so friendly and helpful. They even send me emails when my cat is due for health maintenance services. My cat was sick recently and they took great care of him and made sure to educate me on his care plan thoroughly before sending us home. It was my first time dealing with a sick pet and they did a phenomenal job. I am so grateful for this clinic and all their staff!

I used to take my dog here and cat got spayed here. They were awesome. my dog had to get a foreign object removed, squeaker, and they kept him for the weekend and it was a great experience for what the situation was. If I lived in Haslett I would still be taking them here.
