Excellent employees who take the time needed to answer questions and find desired items. Their Stihl department is well stocked with a variety of tools and accessories. I always enjoy visiting. It is family owned and operated.The shelves are getting close to fully stocked again after covid. They sure could use a few more employees.So much good stuff.The store was well stocked and clean. Help was easy to find.

I’ve really never had a problem with this rule, King, until the other day when I went to buy some dog food and other things. Upon going to the cash register, there was an older gentleman who was the cashier. He rang up my stuff, and at that point, he asked me for my driver's license. I asked him why he needed my driver's license, and he stated that he was going to save me money by opening a Rural King credit card. I told him I was not interested, and at that point, he became very agitated and angry. He wouldn't even bag my items, so I grabbed the bags and bagged all my items. I then went over to customer service and asked for the manager. I explained the situation to the manager, but she didn't seem to care. She did mention that he does become very angry when people don't open credit accounts. I told her that this behavior is unacceptable and that she needs to do something about it. However, she seemed to not really care and walked me out the door.

I had an absolute amazing time here. Sean was so good helping me a first time tractor owner buy my first tractor. I would recommend him to anyone buying a new tractor or any equipment he was truly amazing and sold me just what I needed and nothing more. Very happy customer here!!! Thanks again Sean!

Rural king beats the other farm supply stores in all ways. Brands carried, prices, availability and even selection. You could buy just about everything here that you'd use during an average week, with the exception of milk and eggs, but you can buy chickens so eggs aren't too far off.The staff is always helpful, there is always ample parking (even when the carnival was in the parking lot, there was still excess parking) it's convenient to get to (right at 23 & 59) and you will always find what you're looking for .We live a solid 45 minutes away and drive past two tsc's just to go to rural king and will continue to do so, until they open an RK closer to us!

RK Hartland has gone so far down hill since they opened. Constantly oit of stock on many products I use to buy there. Always a long line to checkout because there's only 1 register open. Store is usually pretty dirty too.Online says the hartland store has all kinds of different ice melts in stock, 3 days in a row I show up and there's nothing. This place is awful.

I dropped a log on my Stihl chainsaw and broke the shroud. After searching online for this part it appeared that I’d have to order it from Europe for a total of $80 and several weeks lead time. I was in Rural King buying a spark plug and figured I’d ask about the shroud. I spoke with their small engine mechanic who looked in back for one. He actually had one for less than 1/2 the price. I didn’t even realize they were a full service Stihl service center.

I’ve been doing construction for 22 years I usually get about 6 months before I need to replace my boots I bought a pair for $200 Irish setters and after 2 months the stitching opened up on the top of the boot and they refuse to replace them .. I will not only never buy a pair of boots from here again but I will never shop here again $200 for a pair of boots to last 2 months that ridiculous ..

Great place to find almost anything you need from snacks to farming needs to hunting equipment. Perfect store to have in a rural area. Great prices and selection. It's like a clothing, hardware, sporting goods and convienece store all in one.

Beyond disappointed in my experience here. Women’s bathroom was so beyond disgusting 3 stalls have been closed since March with poop still in the toilet and it is now October. The fourth stall toilet seat is covered in poop. The smell coming from the bathroom made me gag. There also were mice running around. Then we get up to the front to pay for our items, and we wait in line for about 10 mins while the cashier makes comments to the guy in front of us about how since he had to run the guys card for 11 cents that he’s costing this company money. After finally reaching the counter ourselves- the guy was supposed to be off the clock and kept repeating that the guy taking over for him is over there. Then he starts to ring us up and asks if we are reward members and when we tell him no and that we are not interested he said he isn’t going to take us. And we had to take our stuff back off the counter and move to another station. Overall a bad experience. And if needed I do have videos and pictures of the bathroom.

This place was huge! I had to get wild bird food for my parents, so this is the first time I've ever been here 😁 and the employees were super nice and my kids got popcorn out of a cool fresh popcorn dispenser 😊 great price in the bird food to. Kids wanted me to get them a rabbit but 🤔 um no lol

After politely declining an offer to win $10k if I buy Anderson Windows or Doors, I had to decline the request for my phone number three times during checking out to sign up for the rewards card. I highly recommend posting one more salesperson outside! 😉 It will keep more people away and reduce the length of the really long checkout line since they only staff one of eight available checkouts. Maybe I’ll be back though, I don’t know where else to buy cheese puffs in five gallon containers! 😂

This place is amazing! You can get almost anything here.....including baby Rhode Island Red chicks! I came to Rural King to help out Santa for a few hours. We had a blast meeting kids of all ages and plenty of dogs!

They have outdoor supplies, tools and yoohoo... perfect store! They are also a go to for animal feed they have better prices on animal feed including deer and bird then the local feed mill as well as a great selection of pet food and supplies. Their firearms selection and ammunition is great as well.

Love Rural King for so many reasons.My daughter loves it also!We buy our clothing and boots from here.Also tools!But they've got the whole sha bang of things you might need!And they even had this weird toy that my daughter just had to have!

We bring our dog, Hank, here basically everytime we come and I just had to say the John and Debbie really are great people who deserve to be recognized for really developing relationships with there customers. Give em a raise, because they bring my money in everytime lol. Really though, thanks guys!

This place is great. All the stuff you need for a decent size farm and more. Little disappointed they did not have the chicken coop I wanted. Guy at the counter basically stated what they have is what they have. Might have helped more if I bought a new chainsaw.
