Since the new upgrades to the store have been done, it looks so much cleaner and organized. The prices are great too for a hometown market. I went in today thinking that I'd be paying well over $200 for my groceries and it ended up being $160. I was pleasantly surprised at that! Keep up the great work, it's showing.😎

Like having stuff out past date.Only like 2 nice people in the deli that smile and greet you nicely.The other staff usually seem to have a attitude or make you not want to order anything.

Went today at 3:50 for their chicken special. Love their chicken, but was very disappointed today. All out and none being cooked. Told it would be 30 minutes se we said yes and did some shopping. Came back in 30 minutes and were told another 17 minutes. We waited. Never got ours cause they ran out giving it to people who came in after us. We left a little after five with no chicken. Maybe when you have a special, cook some before dinner rush. Going to miss my favorite chicken.

Went today to pick up water, my stepfather orders a pallet of water and picks 5 cases up weekly, well today I had the unfortunate privilege to deal with Veronica. Upon telling her that I was there to pick up water and gave her my stepdads name she informed me that I was wrong that they do not keep water in the back for my step dad and they keep it on the shelf which hasn’t been done since Tim was there. She didn’t even go ask Ariel like I had asked her to do. Her rude personality and Miss know it all attitude leaves very little desire to continue to shop at our local grocery store. In fact Ariel does order the pallet of water just as Tim did and they do go to the back to get the 5 cases weekly 😡

Terrible deli and premade selection compared to other Hardings. Macaroni looks inedible and they are always out of pot pies.

Ingredients for one meal will set you back about 40-60 dollars. I am referring to 'real' cooking. Of course you can get hamburger helper and a couple of potatoes for under 10 dollars.

In particular I love the meat department they are never trying to push that enhanced beef, and I appreciate them for that they also have great customer service and will cut need to order. I have had very good luck with all of my communications throughout that store. The people always make me feel like I'm the only one there and they are so busy and work so hard provide so many great smiles to so many people. I will always shop at this store and I recommend it to the rest of the world. Don't miss your opportunity to try this Harding's

Recently denied 5 people that were trying to cash they're checks but had no ID after about 5 years of going there every Friday with no problem and never being asked for one. Very friendly to they're loyal local customers I guess.

Clean and always stocked with your favorites and bargains are always great but they also have a deli counter and if you never had their fried chicken your really missing out its so good i can eat it every day but i only live 1,/2 block from the store and i can smell that chicken all day i think they put a big fan next to the door so i could smell it thats how good it is yum yum lol

Just took cans and bottles back. The machines were actually working. Most the time atleast one is down and the other works till you get half your cans ran thru it. It was a nice change of pace to not have to wait for someone to fix them

Came in and 5 PM thinking I would grab chicken for dinner a quick dinner. Nothing at all was prepared. Was told it would take about 25 minutes. So I went to DG to pick up other stuff for the house. Came back 20 minutes later. Nothing! It is now 5:45 and I am still waiting. Seems like being dinner time they would have some made. Next time I will pay the gas and go to Coloma Harding! Very disappointed and hungry! Well I am finally out the door at 6:15! Never AGAIN! I could have went to Popeyes and got the good stuff! I would have never given my name for a order if I would have known it was going to take a hr and 15 minutes. After I was told 25 minutes!

Their fried chicken is the best. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Very good baked goods especially the birthday cakes. Buy all my meat from them. I don't trust other stores for my meat.

Great place to grocery shop. Well stocked produce. Clean environment. Prices are higher than what I'm use to, but I am originally from down south. So it might be a "normal" price range to locals. Staff could be a little friendlier. But again I am from the south where everyone knows everyone and everyone is nice to each other, so I'm not sure if the unfriendly staff is "normal." I'm giving 5 stars because it seems normal but I'm not sure.

Staff is friendly if they are not busy looking over you and talking to someone else while you are checking out. Low focus on customer service. Hamburger has to much fat added. Never has meat ratio listed fat/lean (80/20..etc). Higher prices compared to other areas stores.

Well, given the option between here and Bangor, I choose the later. Nice post out front to tie up the horses, nice bakery section. More expensive than Bangor too...not sure why the same product costs more here.Honestly what killed the experience for me was the staff. Employees didn’t seem bathed, were all definitely the jaded life-long grocery type of people...and ignored my family and I to gossip about their “secret” affair...way to go.

I was very discouraged to see how dirty the place has become since the new owners have taken over. The shelves are more bare than they were at the height of Covid. The employees I knew are mostly gone and the prices gave me sticker shock. I've lived in Hartford almost 40 years and am very embarrassed by the state of this store. I won't be back soon, if at all.

Had to return 6 moldy cheese packages yesterday. Second time I've had to return spoiled food. One customer service rep was a total witch, and the other one who helped me was fine. Store is so dirty. I am not going to shop there anymore. Plenty of other stores around.

Every week my young daughter and I walk to this store to get a gallon of milk. She also enjoys yogurt and fresh produce. When we walked in this morning, we were almost immediately called out by a cashier for not having a “face covering” so I pulled my shirt over my nose. Then she told me it had to be a mask: we don’t have oneNot about to start yelling in front of my child, or ask the Score of strangers now Staring at us how I’m supposed to feed my baby, we walked back home to dry cereal and smelly tap water that is now all we have

This is a all in one place to shop they have almost everything from food to toothpaste, a little bit of everything and the workers are very friendly. I've been going there since I was a little girl I even worked there for a brief point when I was 16, all over a great store and great place to shop with reasonable prices.

Smelled like straight vomit when i walked in the door. Not even exaggerating. Haven't been here in about 10 years and just happened to stop in because i didn't want to pass home just to go to the coloma hardings. This store could use some major cleaning and updates. The layout is also pretty odd, making it hard to find anything. Kindof what i expected for hartford though.

This is going to sound corny but....they really are Harding's Friendly Market. Everyone from the cashier's to stockers and my favorite..the deli ladies!!! They are so nice!! Clean store, well stocked and a variety of items.

Dirty. Flies buzzing around produce. If you buy anything frozen or from the cooler you better be careful. Ice cream with refrozen frost is a sure sign it's been too warm. I got sour milk from them before too. Managers specials for meat OMG. Green meat is not good. Baggers... well they hire the mentally challenged which is great. BUT.. you have to watch what they do. I had one put the HOT chicken on top of the ice cream. Only a few people there qualify as "friendly." Most could care less. If there were any other stores close by this one would be out of business fast.
