Great selection of items sold, about all you need, yet the employees never seem to be willing to help find something for you, or for that matter even ask if they can help you when walking into the store! I have lived in Oceana County since 1994 and it has always been this way! WHY? Don't I give off the rich summer people/city folk vibe? I'm from Shelby don't I count??😧 My money not good enough??😦

Most of the folks here are super friendly and ready to help. A larger than average selection for a small hometown hardware store. They have quite a sizable lawn / garden selection as well as a selection of lumber products. Some things can be a bit on the pricey side if there isn't a sale / coupon though.

This place is so rude to people they fell are not local, if you ask for help trying to find something they act like it's a big deal or you should know where everything is in the store I would give this a negative 5 stars if I could. Also over priced on everything in the store.

Called store to verify product availability, said we were coming and would be there at 4:59, which we did arrive at said time since their own digital display showed 4:59 and they waved at me through the door saying no. They could have said on phone that they wait for no one. Pretty bad customer service on a holiday weekend.

Never have a bad experience coming here. Always something to look at even if just killing time. My last visit was to hunt down blades for my discontinued riding mower. Unfortunately they did not have them but did their best to find them in the system. Still no luck but they were super helpful and friendly.

Best small town hardware store around! They have everything, I mean everything! Don't waste your time going to the big box stores. They might have a slightly lower price but don't be fooled, it will cost you so much more. Big box stores CAN'T give you the same quality service you'll receive in Hart. Very helpful staff and just downright friendly folks. Shop Local @❤

Big signs on exterior doors advising of mask requirements. Guess that doesn't apply to employees. Outstanding selection of just about everything you may need. Don't like shopping there because of the very unfriendly staff. There's 1 or 2 that seem to understand customer relations but the majority are just plain unfriendly and seem to hate their job and dealing with customers.5 star inventory selection, 0 stars for most staff.

Staff and customers not wearing masks. I was going in to purchase paint for a 1200 sq ft area. I try to buy local, but could not give them my money because they don't care about their customers. I also will not shop there after this health crisis is over.

Woman owner is the rudest person. Been buying from them for over 34 years. She was all smiles and nice to the person in front of me, but when it was my turn for her to wait on me, she said, and I quote, "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" I had my 16 year old granddaughter with me and her jaw dropped. Never been there since and I tell anyone to watch out for that woman owner.

As long time seasonal residents who shopped frequently at this store we will no longer shop here. We saw employees and most customers without masks. This is a complete disregard for public safety. Management showed no interest in my concerns. We will miss this hardware store.

I have shopped at this ACE Hardware for over 25 years and have found it to be a well stocked, helpful store. Unfortunately, I will not be back for awhile. Today, I went in and discovered that not a single employee was wearing a mask, although about 90 percent of the customers were. I think I saw at least 7 employees while there. I guess if they don't care about their customers health and safety enough to wear masks, then they really don't need my money. I went to the new Tractor Supply down the road and everyone was masked and required masks to enter. Masks were available if you didn't have one. I do not understand how wearing a cloth mask to protect your customers is that difficult to do.

Always has what I'm in looking for, and generally leave with more than I went in for. Prices are competitive, and all of my home improvement or yard projects inevitably involve a trip to Larsen's!

Not one employee wearing a mask...not ONE. Customers had masks, but not the employees! Obviously they are not enforcing masks for customers either. No shields, plexiglass, or hand sanitizers. When you ask staff where something is they come right up next to you, absolutely no social distancing. Will not be back. If you care so little for me as a customer, then I won’t be giving you any of my $$$.

I didn't go in, but it's a great hardware store here in Hart MI. Used to shop ate the Spring Lake store.Hart carries lumber, snowblowers, lawnmowers, and repair kits. Being disabled I don't usually go into these stores, just riding along with hubby. But it looks like a great store, huge!

I have lost myself in the palace of practical items for hours. There staff is a godsend when you simply have no idea what you're doing or looking for. You can't help but always leave with something, even if it's just a spicy hot pickled asparagus.

I hope that all of the employees that are working at this store never get Corona virus. It's almost a mask free store by employees and customers. I love protecting myself and others by wearing a mask and will not be returning to this store.

They encourage no masks and have a snitty sign on the door. If you haven't lost someone to covid and think anti mask is your stand against pathogens, this is your spot. Perhaps you or an employee can start a hotspot. They take a stand and so do I - I don't have to patronize local businesses and won't.
