We purchased most of our building materials from here while building our house. We bought 3 sets of French door's. One set the door started rotting on the bottom. John came out,said he will call factory rep. The rep came out and said it was under warranty. This all started October 18th. The door is in from the manufacturer, but we are still waiting for them to replace it after 5 months. Numerous calls, they say will be out this week. No call, no show. Nobody seems to care and they definatatly don't communicate with you.

I wasn't pleased that the amount for putting in my window was a little less than the window itself. The price for installation was too much. When the window finally was put in, the 2 workers had to leave for an hour because they forgot something. Trying to work with the company wasn't any better. They make you feel as if they're doing you a favor instead of remembering that you are the paying customer. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly in this area and the customers haven't other choices.

I bought 51 bundles of shingles from Northeastern Window and Door through a local roofer. As it turns out we only needed 46, we had 5 bundles left over. Todd one of the managers at Northeastern refused to let me return them for credit. He said I would have to return them to the roofer, the roofer would have to take them in, they would then give credit to the roofer, then the roofer would have to pay me. I paid for 51 bundles in my roofing quote, there is no good reason why I should not have been able to return them and get a credit on my credit card. My roofer agreed that the shingles were mine to do as I pleased; keep or return. The bottom line is that Northeastern simply does not want to give me a refund - I would not recommend Northeastern for any purchases - roofing or otherwise.

Went and picked up some trim. Great price and had enough in stock. Lady that came and helped us was amazing. Sweet and kind. Then some older lady comes out of nowhere and is rude, pushy, cuts you off talking and pretty much says we don’t have it. The nice lady helping us was doing an amazing job, she needed no assistance. Great experience except for pushy older lady.

I'm a handicap walker with limited mobility. The counter ladies will actually search the store for what I am looking for. Can't say so for the men. To them I seem to be a hassel. Nonetheless, I will return out of necessity. There seems to be a fair selection of items.

I have visited this store 3 times and the service is horrible. Today was the last time for me. My business, which is quite substantial since we just bought our house, will go to the hardware in Lincoln. I stood around for at least 15 minutes watching people coming in after me getting waited on while I finally gave up and drove to Lincoln where we are always welcomed as soon as we walk in the door, walked to what you are looking for and explaining the differences in the products. You folks need to take some customer service lessons for a hardware store who appreciates their customers.

Went there today to buy 2 screen doors and paint for our shed. Found doors we liked within 5 minutes.We were in the store for 20 minutes and NOT ONE employee asked if we needed help. 5 people working and just talking to each other. They lost out on over $600 in sales today. I’ll never go back!!!

Outstanding service. Top quality product. Every person I dealt with throughout the entire process was professional and knowledgeable. There was a waiting period to have the windows installed, but obviously there was a reason this business is in demand. If you want experts in the business, call them.

I make deliveries.... not a costumer. That said, the staff is always polite and work hard to unload their freight. I always enjoy this stop on my route and look forward to the drive through northern Michigan to get there. Thanks to Northeastern for making it such an enjoyable experience.

I recently ordered and had installed a new garage door at my forever home. When placing the order my wife made sure to have me mention that we did not want the decorative black trim and door handles. I told the rep this when ordering it in person. I had to be at work when the door was installed so when I got home to see my new door I found that they included the hardware. When I called to explain the situation they told me there was an email sent with a picture on it. However the picture was on the second page of the digital invoice and I did not see it. The trim can not be removed. I now get to look at their mistake every time I go home and they had no solution or even care about the issue. I will not be using their services again.

Nice windows, nice group of guys that came out. The owner measured approximately 3 months before installation date. We had 2 picture windows and 4 side windows. After tearing out old windows, and installing side windows they realized the measurement was wrong for large picture window. Long story short we lived with a boarded up window for two weeks with no apology or offer of compensation from owner. I had to call company to ask what was going on. Owner was nice and apologetic but did not knock anything off price, and I asked. $4200 job. If he had cared a little about his mistake, I'd recommend this company. Unfortunately I just can't.

This store has a sign on their front door indicating that they will not be following the law and not be enforcing the mask mandate. It appears the store does not care about their employees health or their customers health.I would recommend shopping elsewhere in order to keep yourself and your family safe.Edit: I have reported the business to the Attorney General's email and hotline. Hopefully action can be taken to ensure the safety of the community.

Employees are NOT compliant with proper (or any) mask wearing, even though it’s the law. Lame sign on door, second line says people don’t have to who “have a medical condition”. I walked in & saw employees at the counter with no masks & no plexiglass. Turned around & left. They have lost my business for good.

It was 5:15pm. We were in the middle of a kitchen sink plumbing project. Bud needed a couple more parts. We were not sure if Northeastern W&D closed at 5pm or 6pm, so we made the call. John was there and told us they closed at 5pm, but when I told him what we needed, he told us to come over, and he would help us. We got exactly what we need, and John was very patient while my husband perused the rack to find just the right parts. John was so gracious! That's what we call "above and beyond"! We were able to finish that project and use the sink right away, instead of having to wait until they opened this morning! Bless you John!!! You have two very dedicated customers forever!

I had the pleasure of working for Jim & Betty Smith when I was younger, and worked side by side with John Smith. Of coarse I moved on since then, but I still try to do as much business with them as possible. Being in the home repair and handyman business, I often need parts that are obsolete, but thanks to my good buddy John, he always seems to find what I need, every time. Since Norco windows and door walls were bought out from Jeld-Wen(?), parts are hard to come by, especially casement window hardware. Thanks John, for saving my rear more than once!
