Today’s lunch experience was, as usual, stellar! You’d never expect to find a gem like this in a quiet little resort town like Harrisville! Alcona Coffee Co never disappoints with the love that goes into their food items! Every sandwich on the lunch menu is made to order using the freshest, highest quality ingredients that are sure to please any palate. I’m not sure which lunch item is my favorite, they’re all so good! The atmosphere here is so cozy, welcoming, comfortable, and most importantly, clean! It’s obvious that the owner is passionate about what they do, and it shows! Take a break from your busy day or as your driving through the area to experience the amazing hospitality, service, and exceptional quality food that is being served up at Alcona Coffee Co.

Recently I treated myself to lunch army the Alcona Coffee Company where I had an outstanding turkey panini sandwich on ciabatta bread (with lettuce and tomato and “the works”) and a chocolate oatmeal bar. It was amazing! I love all the choices that are available so that you can have your food exactly as you want it…and then there is The Big Dipper ice cream shop conveniently attached…All this in the heart of downtown Harrisville and within walking distance of the Harrisville harbor and the Harrisville State Park.

Great little coffee shop in an area where there aren't many options. We were pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere where you can just chill and read or visit friends.Our lattes were amazing, so much so that we tried to visit again the next day, but closed before we could. (In my opinion, closing at 4pm on a Friday is too early.) The young lady working was very pleasant and fast. They offer a decent sandwich menu as well as baked goods. The muffins were delicious. This will definitely be a mandatory stop anytime, we're in the area, and it should be for everyone.Parking: Plenty of on street parking

Update*** this place continues to be one of our favorites!!! The lunch special today (turkey sandwich with homemade red pepper hummus on local sourdough) was sublime. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are kind and approachable. The new owners are keeping the charm and hospitality but with a new vibe that keeps you coming back for more.Kid-friendliness: My children are practically growing up in this coffee shop and are treated with respect and playfulness by each and every person who works at this establishment! Amazing people and an amazing place!

Best coffee, snacks, atmosphere and downright good vibes around this caffeine barren wasteland. The owner and staff are always charismatic and provide excellent customer service. I continuously hear positive gossip regarding new happenings around town and physically see the love this business has for our county and town. They rep local artist paintings on the wall, local bakery treats, and a coffee blend made special for a local boutique. I couldn't be more proud to have a successful business near to me with an owner that actually gives a damn. Don't believe a bad review based on an unhappy and poor interpretation of reality, visit it yourself 👍

The owner is incredibly rude. A few times I have been in there alone to sit and have a coffee I've overheard her being nasty to her employees. I felt bad for these young girls. And another time, a few weeks ago, she was sitting with other people gossiping about another local business owner. I left there knowing more gossip about this town and business than I needed to know. She's not cut out for this. The inconsistency is astounding too. Instead of taking criticism on using it to better her business, she'll argue. Read other reviews. I'm not the first to shine a light on her attitude.

This place makes delicious sandwiches and coffee. If you're looking for a quick lunch I can't think of a better place in town to grab a sandwich and chips. The specialty coffees and other drinks are great too.Edit - last few times I tried to order they are out of supplies to make my order, or don't even answer the phone during business hours.

Great small town coffee shop! I was served by the owner who was so friendly! We had a lovely chat while she made my coffee and suggested other places in town for me to visit! I HIGHLY suggest stopping in and supporting this local business! I so appreciate what she is doing for Harrisville! There was even a group of local folks chatting at a table. Loved the small town atmosphere!!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp available to enter!

I went once (on vacation). My coffee was fresh and good. I bought a pound of whole bean French roast and just had my first cup. It's good stuff!July 10, 2023 - I went again today. It was hot outside, so I wanted a cold coffee drink. I hoped I could get something frozen, with the consistency of a Slushee. The best the ladies could do was to make me something on ice. It was good.

My wife and I recently visited Harrisville for the first time. Found this place out of the blue. Nice small town coffee shop. We bought a bag of the Michigan cherry blend. It smelled amazing and is some of the best cherry coffee we have ever tasted. Stop by if you are in Harrisville!

How excited it was to find the coffeshop with real Italian espresso machine in the middle of Harrisville!!!Coffee is really good rated = 4.5 Taste is gooood.Interaction is 0.3 so rounded review score = 2.4 stars. Google gives 2 to choose. And I am always generous.The owners personality has much to be desired. It will do the shop well if the owner hire personable counter clerk or change his mood which seems impossible. Bad day-stay home.Interactions going along way and dealing with the public. Especially now with google reviews all world could know cool or not places.

I’ve been coming to Alcons Coffee Co for 3 years, and I’ve never once had a bad experience until July 27th, 2022.We had coffee on Monday, and Tuesday and we got charged $4 like the normal price. Me and my friend get there on July 27th, 2022 and the woman we took our order charged us $7. We got the same thing, iced coffee with just creamer and a iced coffee with caramel.I didn’t have enough money because i was expecting it to be $4 and something cents since tax and the flavor is 85 cents. I didn’t have enough, and the girl changed her attitude from being nice to being rude when i told her i didn’t have the $2. She used the tip jar money, and we waited forever for our coffee. They weren’t busy, and i know it’s not that hard to make an ice coffee because I make them at home.When she was making the coffee, she barley put any coffee in it and watered it down right in front us. She put whipped cream and caramel drizzle on it too. Ice coffee’s aren’t supposed to have whipped cream and caramel drizzle, and I know i told her the right thing, because i saw her write down 2 iced coffee’s.As she was making the coffee, she kept giving us very dirty looks, and we weren’t rude at all. We didn’t correct her because I didn’t want to mess with it at the time because i don’t like confrontations.I told my parents about it and they said that they’ll go up to the coffee shop with us to figure out what happened.The next day, me and my friend got coffee again, and we got charged our regular charge of $4.On Friday, me and my parents and friend went into the shop and I told a different girl about what happened and started to debate us about it not believing us clearly. We asked for a manager, and she said she wasn’t there and that she’ll handle the situation.She was being rude at this point and took $2 out of the tip jar and handed it to us. As we were leaving, I heard her whisper something underneath her breath.I love this coffee shop, and i’m a bit disappointed about what happened, I would definitely go back but i’m still disappointed on how she handled the situation and how we got ripped off.

Coffee wasn't bad. Would have given it 5 stars, but "Pat" who was at the counter was incredibly unpleasant to interact with. His mood changed at the end, when we went to pay. Not a bad looking little shop, but if that's how customers are treated, then no thank you.

The young lady working Sunday during the art show did an excellent job. Very very hard worker serving up so many cones I couldn't believe it. Wow what a great employee. Thanks for the tasty ice cream.
