They had outdated hams and I bought one without knowing and it stunk while cooking. Took it out of oven and threw it in trash outside. Also bought a 30 pack of swaggertys hot sausage patties opened one side it was ok. Opened up otber side and full of mold. They lost me as a customer.

Sav Alots is my go to grocery store. Either in Harrison or in Gladwin. Prices are so much more reasonable than other stores, on things I use everyday.

I found believe it or not Steve's Market in town had cole slaw, crushed garlic and a few other things significantly cheaper. I don't do save a lot very often but occasionally I will got those for $3.99 # and Steve's had family package of ground beef for $3.99. So pays to look around and shop the shops.

Always receive courteous service. Was looking for 49 cent/pound chicken quarters. There were none in the freezer, a delightful young man in the meat department went retrieved several cases and handed them to 4 of us who were waiting. Always helpful

Love this store love the prices kind of wish it was bigger. Glad they got Mountain Dew every day now though well they did that a while ago. People don't think that they have things that they get all the time but they do things like pop they always have there are certain cereals they always have you just kind of have to go in there and look and they're ice cream I usually only buy name brand ice cream but Save-A-Lot brand ice cream is amazing I love all of them especially the moose tracks

Store has been updated inside, very nice. Still have friendly helpful staff. Good value for your money, decent section of products, don't care for their brand of cereal, then again I eat very little cold cereal. Update-- staff has been changing, I know it happens,but in this case, not a good change

I still shop here whenever possible. The saving will surprise you.... Not as much as it used to, but still somewhat surprising to compare grocery bills from this store to most others. You clearly DO Sav-A-Lot. Might I add, the produce and meat department is NOT what you would expect from a discount grocery store.? Great meat and produce.., compatible with the "Big Chain" stores in the area, and again.....at a lower price.

I don't often shop here because the Sav-a-Lot concept is unfortunately difficult for disabled people to navigate on their own. But despite being obviously short-staffed, the store was clean, well-stocked, and specials were easy to find and well-marked. The staff I saw were cheerful and friendly. I easily found what I came for, and then some!

It's like an Aldi's, in that it is a discount grocery store with off brands and limited products. There are certain basic staples, which they don't carry like granola which is kind of annoying, considering they have every kind of junk food you could want. Employees were very nice and extremely helpful though.

Still a great place to pickup groceries at Great prices... Only very short staffed, seen a very young man about 20yrs old as Manager and a teenage girl that was maybe 16 as Cashier. They were very professional and friendly.

I have always came here for part of my groceries. But during covid I really started voting more often and buying the bulk of the groceries here. They always had meat and great deals on the meat when everyone else's prices were sky rocketing. Im pretty impressed with the meat cuts here as well as the variety of cuts.
