Told me to use bacon grease for my dogs dry skin. You can literally Google it and it states clearly this is not a remedy for dry skin and doesn’t help oil their fur. Also claimed my dog was two breeds that he isn’t (I met the parents) and he doesn’t even look like or have the characteristics of. Pits and labs don’t have thick fur and curled tails. Upon pick up I noticed he had loads of dandruff and his nails were not filed after being cut. And upon further inspection at home they didn’t cut where they were asked and instead cut part of his tail fur and other areas that were not asked of them. I just gotta say I am severely disappointed and upset that they don’t even know their dog breeds enough to tell what a dog is on sight. And I’m even more upset at the way my poor dog looks after the grooming process was done. We will not be coming back needless to say. And I highly suggest they go through proper training and learn some basic veterinary medicine knowledge. And maybe buy a book on different dog breeds and learn what they look like. I’m absolutely flabbergasted at their lack of knowledge it is truly terrifyingly astounding to me. If I could I’d give negative 10 stars I would. I stand by my review because he is husky dachshund mix which you were told. And if his nails had been filed they wouldn’t look like a chop job. But filing nails is part of the mail treatment for all groomings it’s not something to be asked for it’s just common practice as you don’t want their nails to grow strangely.And yes his tail was cut near the base as you can see it and feel how chopped and rough it is. But thank you for the reply still showing you do not know what you’re doing or talking about. And again you’r suggestion of using grease or oil is something you shouldn’t be suggesting as again if you Google it it says it won’t help and it can cause digestive issues and damage to a dog. So once again thanks for proving my point that you are unprofessional and don’t know what you’re talking about. The lies pile on and it’s funny you say that because I pointed out the back of his hind quarters and said usually here and around his butt hole get trimmed and so that was something I’d like to have done. But yeah I’m not gonna delete this. You can see if google will. Wow you still wanna argue? I did say I met the parents. I literally met the mother (dachshund) breast feeding and the father (the husky). If you look at his tail even you can see it looks like a husky’s tail and look at his fur it is thick and fluffy like a husky. His head is small and his ears are floppy and curled like a dachshund. And yes I know my breeds as I went thru 7 years of training to be a dog trainer and groomer. I just don’t have the tools anymore cause I retired. I have books upon books about dogs including their bone structures and how they are different and how to tell them apart. I’ve raised huskies and pits and German shepherds and Rottweilers and Jack russles and shitzus and chihuahuas and Australian shepherds. Just to name a few. As for filing nails many vets and groomers I’ve worked with will use a regular nail file on dogs that are afraid of grinders it’s just common sense. I really don’t care if you guys want to say you’re not lying because I know the difference and I know how a dogs fur feels after being cut. I also know that usually the groomer will use conditioner on some dogs to get rid of said dandruff and to help with a dry coat. Now I do hope we can be done with this. Of course I could also give you my number if you wanna continue and we can keep testing our knowledge back and forth till you turn blue. But as for a business I must say it’s rather unprofessional that you insist on arguing cause at the end of the day a bad review is still a bad review. You’re not making yourself look any smarter or professional in this. In fact stating again that you gave me false information about the oil situation doesn’t look good either. It makes one wonder if you are telling people to do something that can harm their dog and that you don’t have proper vet knowledge.

I’ve tried getting my dog in for a nail and paw trim called at least 3-4 times always to be told they are closed or closing it’ was only 1:15 pm yet there on line info says there open till 5:00 . I work too and call when i have the time to bring him in very disappointed.

These ladies are above and beyond professional and super polite! I took my mess of a dog in for a first time grooming as I was unaware of this particular breed and the grooming that needed done until he was an utmost diaster - he isn't socialized he's never seen another dog since I got him and I have never been so impressed with a group of ladies to say the least! I was a nervous wreck having never left my dog anywhere and upon my return for pick up he was a totally new dog! He's happy he smells fantastic and yep these ladies will be seeing me much more often! And let us not forget the FANTASTIC PRICING!! I could not be more thrilled with the results! Thanks ladies it is so appreciated 👍

Bark N Bathe is FANTASTIC!! I really like the owner and the other ladies that work there. It's important how my dog feels/reacts to the situation and staff as well-which was great! I was nervous how he would do or if he would even allow the ladies to groom him. Well sure enough he did and did great! He looked and acted like a new and improved dog! We were very pleased with the service we received (how great he looked and felt, how great they were to both my fur baby and I, the price, etc.) that we have, and will continue, taking our fur baby to Bark N Bathe. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here.

We took our 2 cats here to get groomed. Janis did such an awesome job on our boys. She is very thorough. She asked many questions to make sure she understood everything we wanted. When we came in to pick up our cats we looked in their cages and saw that Janis did an amazing job!WE WILL BE BACK!🐈💖

This was the first time our long haired Australian shepherd went to the groomers. We were very nervous about different factors. After entering and meeting the owner and staff, our worries were quickly gone. They're wonderful and are definitely in the right field- you can see and feel their genuine love and care for animals. Without a doubt, we will be taking our sweet Ollie boy back to get groomed. I highly recommend them.

Out of the 3 times I had my puppy visit for a grooming appointment I was not happy with the staff or the service!!! I had a gift certificate and she would have charged me if not for me having the paperwork.... He is a little fussy and I tried to tolerate them!!!!!I just didn't appreciate anything that was done with my baby..... Will not ever go back.....! Just saying... No thanks.....he is only barley a a year old sorry you didn't take the time to get to know him.....

We took our 2 furbabies in and they clipped their nails, super friendly staff and were wonderful with them, they are feline furbabies, and we are unable to do it ourselves , but the ladies were nice and the girls did not seem to mind having their nails clipped at all.

My previous groomer went out of business. Bark N Bathe was recommended by a neighbor. I was able to get our three dogs in quickly. The grooming was well done. A few things were not the way I wanted, but that is expected for the first time & I'm sure we'll get it figured out quickly. For the most part I was happy with the results & will be taking the dogs there from now on.

Our first 3 visits were great, with our mini schnauzer. This time what happened to bath, comb & cut. She was given a bath & comb the night before.They said she was matted ??. So they shaved her right down. We will not be using this groomer again. Also we will. not be reçomending this groomer to any one. Very unhappy

Needed to clean in between dog grooming. Dont know if your dog will get fleas from hair left on the floor of lots of other dogs.staff was very nice tho and did a good job

I would not recommend this groomer anyone who knows anything about shih tzus know that they no matter what always come out of their grooming appointment with they're long lucisous tails this is absolutely ridiculous that my dogs came out with no hair left on they're tails the multicolored shih tzu worked on his tail for almost 7 years growing and making thick and now its all gone! Not happy at all!

My mom took her just over year old Shepard there, just gave him a bath did not dry him do his nails clean his ears, they said he was uncooperative, they sent home a wet stinky dog... It has always taken two people to do his nails, they when I was paying full amount for only wash, the owner was making rude remarks about my dog, this is uncalled for. They could have towel dried him or called us or something... We will never go back

Maggie May is the love of our life. Janice cares for her as we do. The love and patience,s is amazing. Janice is the only groomer that has had enough knowledge on not only how to treat our furbaby but she also noticed the first time seeing her that there was a medical issue. She was right. We knew about it . But the fact Janice saw this with no knowledge of it shows me she not only loves what she does. But she really is good at what she does. Thank You Janice.
