I had the chicken fried steak with some of the most delicious mashed potatoes, gravy and baked beans (with real bacon in it!) I've had in a long time. I brought home a brownie with sea salt caramel ice cream (in separate container for travel home) drizzled in choc - totally off diet, lol, but delicious. Hubby had the most huge olive and swiss burger. The mayo, specialty made, was amazing as were the thick slices of pickles. He also had a (very good, he said) bowl of chili. He said it was very delicious. It was a great surprise for him.The food was so good that I had our waitress, Fiona, take a five dollar bill back to Teresa, the cook, as a thank you for the great food. Fiona came to the table and said I'd made her day, lol. Good!Highly recommend and will be back!Parking: Lots of room.

We had the chef salad, the fried mushrooms, the chicken noodle soup, and the bulldog pizza.Katie greeted us at the door and was our server. So friendly and right on top of everything.The food here is absolutely delicious. Everything tasted great and the portions were enormous.We almost missed it because it does look small from the outside. But don't let the outside deceive you, the food and people on the inside are definitely worth the visit!

I think they need to cook the food a little bit more, some of our stuff was cold. But other than that, they had the only gluten free options to be found in a 50 mile radius. Very good service as well. Neat men's roomDietary restrictions: Surprising amount of gluten free products.

Absolutely loved this little place.All in all, we had had a very bad night and morning; everything wasn’t going as planned. ~We decided on one last little hope that we could stop somewhere small & hopefully have something good to eat.Was greeted happily & and we quickly took our seats. Happy with their selection of Pepsi products, but they do offer a can of Coke if you prefer 😉Ordered biscuits & gravy with a side of toast and a BLT sandwich with fries. They make their own homemade jam which they offer for breakfast, Strawberry, Blackberry, or Razberry! We picked up a jar.Food was homestyle & just what we wanted, thank you! Success, finally! We will be back!

I visited this place during November and it was a cold rainy night.I had to work for a few hours and I asked the waitresses if I could work there if I bought some food. They said yes.The Wi-Fi is great here. The staff is very friendly. And the food is homey. Their pizza was AMAZING! It was hot, fresh, and just the right amount of toppings.I would recommend this place for the price and the bang for your buck. The price you pay is the quality you get. And it’s delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend this place as the waitress I watched working talked to other customers and let them know about a food choice or making sure that they get what they are looking for or a close substitute.Please make the drive to this fantastic place. It’s big in back area but a little bit smaller in the front. There is ALSO ICE CREAM here!Stop by Chandler’s. It’s no question. The service, the food, and the staff are all around great! They also deliver food!

We stopped here on the way to fishing for a late breakfast. The food was great. The jam is amazing and the people are friendly. I was pleasantly surprised they had gluten free bread/buns which made my daughter very happy. What a gem! Went here based on the reviews. Sure glad we did! The owner is awesome! The food was great as well as the coffee. I especially loved the onion rings! Homemade, lightly battered and delicious. Great little hometown restaurant. Definitely worth a try

In the middle of practically nowhere and not much to look at, but the food is INCREDIBLE! The homemade jams are perfection and the food is super fresh and tasty. They were short staffed when we went, yet they still did a great job of taking care of their customers. Would definitely go back again!

Absolutely a great local restaurant mom and pop great food more than generous portions for a reasonable price. The spaghetti was excellent far better than any restaurant I've ever had. And the Strawberry Shortcake looked to die for I couldn't eat it after I eat my dinner

I solo dinner at Chandler's Cafe. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staffer, Fiona. She's the host, greeter, server, bus person and smiles for miles to tired travelers and working folks.As I ate my dinner of tomato basil soup, battered fried fish and french fries the cafe was getting full. All by the time I finished my great soup and fish (too full, took desert on the road) MS Fiona had 9 tables for service and food. She ran with it and I'm glad I stopped by for dinner. I'll be back for sure. If you pass the blinking yellow light on M 37 you missed a good time and meal at reasonable prices. Safe travels.Parking: Plenty of parking area on four sides of the Cafe

Super lucky find today! The pizza was so good! and the fried mushrooms were literally the best I have ever eaten. The mushrooms were meaty and the breading was thin and seasoned perfectly! My only issue is...if the pizza and mushrooms were that good, how good is the wet burrito? Or the breakfast menu?...which is available all day!I'll be back Chandlers Cafe and I am bringing my friends!Thank you for the wonderful lunch.
