Needed a new pair of xcountry ski boots so headed to the Outfitter. I had a delightful experience with knowledgeable sales people. Couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Ended up with new boots and bindings, as well as some clothing. Unfortunately, clothing had to go back (my issue, not theirs!) and the process was easy. Great service, great selection. Highly recommend! And always fun to run into a friend, so am posting the pic!

I had a great experience! The entire staff was incredibly helpful, but Josh went above and beyond, not only in getting the rental set up, but also in providing excellent advice and directions to good XC spots.The price is also exceedingly reasonable for an entire 24 hour rental. Highly recommend!

Huge shout-out to the team at The Outfitters. I needed a replacement part for my Bishop bindings...not only did they have the part in stock, but performed the repair for me on the spot. Got me back on the hill for some great Spring skiing yesterday! I definitely recommend shopping here, especially for your Tele needs.

Big store & election of stuff for a small town. The staff was friendly. The sale prices are very good especially if you have a "buy once" philosophy when it comes to quality items. The $50 for my Smartwool sweater was the lowest anywhere & I'll wear it for years. They also had outstanding sale prices on quality boots.

Great selection of products, and you can usually find a good deals on their closeout or clearance items in the back during the off seasons. I'd give this place five stars if I didn't the crappy encounter I had during the harbor springs merchant open house. I can't speak for everyone who works there but aside from that experience I'd say if you're in town and looking for some outerwear, stop in and check it out.

Was not able to find any base layers in my size, I'm assuming it was because I went around the holidays. Expect to pay top dollar for quality gear, even their clearance rack was still pretty close to MSRP. I've picked up a few things from here over the years, but for the most part I just walk through to kill time or if I cant wait for shipping on something I forget down state. Worth a walk through if you're driving by.

A great local store with all the brands you would expect to choose from.I shop here a couple times a year when I am in the area. Most recently I needed to rent a couple sets of ski's to enjoy the seven inches of fresh snow that just fell. At 5:45pm I called to see if they could help me out, 15 minutes after their closing time of 5:30pm, and they were more than happy to wait for me to drive to the store. By the time I arrived it was 6:00pm, and no complaints from them.Great service, and their pricing was better than any other place I called:Adult ski's, boots and poles rented at $35.00 for the first day, and $32.00 additional days. Kids ski's, boots and poles rented at $22.00 for the first day, and $20.00 additional days.They went out of their way to make sure I was happy, I would recommend this place.

Great selection and great folks working here. This is the kind of place that the big chain type places strive to be like but can never emulate. I wish there was one near me back home. I always make it a point to go in and visit when I'm in town. Great selection of outdoor clothing and gear.

These guys are outstanding. I purchased an NTN binding in the wrong size from a different vender that would not exchange for the smaller size. But the Outfitter team went out of their way to help me resolve the problem and was willing to exchange the wrong size binding and dial in my setup. Rented kayaks with my 12 yo son and had a great time! Hassle-free rental, great boats to use and unbelievable views of Harbor Springs and Lake Michigan. Would definitely recommend!!
