WOW! First time here. Super nice campground right on the Kalamazoo River. Kayak and canoe rentals with free awesome bus rides. Very clean bathrooms and showers and a small toilet area in the back with FLUSHING toilets! Love it! No outhouse. I could not speak more great things about Joe! What a kind funny all around great guy! Best jokes to quiet fun having loud campers down ever. Fast, funny easy. Will for sure tell my friends and be back! Best trip I've had in a while.

RV campground with good size sites. Water and electric, but no sewer. If you camp here, bring 50' water hose and electric extension cords, the hookups are spaced far apart. Also, get there and set up in daylight, it gets really dark and very quiet at night. There's a very nice kiddie playground with swings, slides, etc. Nice toilet and showers, and a gazebo to hang out in. A large pole barn hosts various seasonal activities like Halloween, live music, etc.If you're into canoeing or kayaking, the campground has it's own rental and shuttle service right on the grounds.Nearby activities: We stayed here and rode the Falling Waters bike trail that starts 5 miles north in Concord, MI to Jackson, MI.Also, Canoe, kayak and shuttle service on-site at the campground.

We went primitive camping for our anniversary and I was so pleased with our site it was the largest camp site I have ever had. The hospitality was fantastic neighbors and staff were friendly and the restrooms/shower space was clean. They were also were pet friendly so we were able to take our fur baby girls and they loved it! I highly recommend Twin Pines camp ground.

Joe is great but his wife is hateful! Brought our own kayaks and she had a nasty attitude. Will be looking for another campground.

Family like atmosphere. Pretty setting on the Kalamazoo River. All shady lots with many mature trees. Many seasonal campers give it a suburban feel. Quiet hours are not enforced so it can get loud.

Even with their power being out, still a great place to stay. They put generators in to be able to run the essentials. Camping is meant to be rustic, so campfire light and such being the only thing at night was great! Will recommend to all my family and friends.

Excellent, excellent, excellent stay at the Twin Pines Campground. Owners are very friendly and professional, they make you feel welcome. Twin Pines has two things I always look for in a campground, big sites and lots of trees. It’s now one of my favorite campgrounds and I will be back. The kayaking was awesome, perfect amount of time.(four hours) they also have a two hours trip as well. I will be spreading the word to all my friends and family.

My fiance and I went here just for a fun afternoon of canoeing. The guy was very helpful over the phone. When we arrived to rent canoes he was just as polite. He shuttled us to the river where we did the two hour trip. We were warned of river being low and still had a blast!! Was a great date with my lovely!! We are already talking of taking the family this summer and camping with canoeing again. Can't wait to see how much fun that is. He said updates were coming on renovating also can't wait to see. Althougwe both agreed it was an adorable place to come back and camp with kids. Must try I know we will be regulars from now on. ☺Give them a try!!!

First time visit! Beautiful property. Joe was very accommodating to our needs of changing sites right on the river. He had no problem with our dog ( who I believe had more fun then we did ) . Canoing was a lot of fun. Great place , will definitely revisit

Went kayaking, stopped at the camp ground to be picked up and also to see the campground as one friend raved about how much they liked camping there. Owner aggressivly came down on his scooter and threatened to take our kayaks, called the cops for trespassing and didn't give us a chance to explain why we were there. We will def not be camping there and the multitude of friends who camped there will not be back. Toxic environment.

My wife and I have been going here to kayak for years. We went recently and brought our own kayak and paid for a shuttle ($10 each) when we arrived we realized that we had forgotten our paddles. I asked the lady behind the counter if we could rent some from them, she said "yes" when I asked her the price it took her longer than it should have and she replied $10 each as if she just made a price up as she was standing there. (This price is not listed on the website along with other prices.) I told her that the priced seemed a little high and she rudely responded "you don't have to pay it and you don't have to go" I said that I was just expressing that I thought the price was high. She said "I can charge what I want"We have never had a bad experience at this place until that day. We will definitely not be going back again. I have a group of 12 family members that are cancelling the camping and kayaking trip they had scheduled for the end of the summer. People need to realize that they should not be so rude to customers.

What a perfect place to camp! Joe, his wife and staff are great people! Our favorite site is 65 back in rustic right on the river! We run the river trip in kayaks every time we come down for a stay!

Nice stretch on the Kalamazoo River. Wild roses, turtles, lots of birds. Twin Pines are friendly and helpful. They do a nice job of keeping the river open. Went on a Monday and only saw two other small groups. 3 hours on the river.

Best campground this state has to offer the lots are very large welcoming staff family ran. Get good entertainment and great fun for all. River trips are the best you can find with well trained staff on the river and seeing that you are started safely the fun awaits get your reservations soon I'm sure they fill up fast

This place is awesome. The owners were so great and caring. Me and my daughter went camping and rented their RV. It was clean and nice (cheap too lol). They treated us like family making sure we had everything we needed. And if we didn’t have it their little general store did and the prices were also cheap for a campground. They don’t over charge to the max lol. Most do. The river was so nice to go down to. We went fishing and had fun even though we didn’t catch anything it was still relaxing. Place is so worth going to. We plan to go back many times. Thank u for ur hospitality!!!

The campground itself was nice. Good shade. Decent distance away from other campers. The service however was poor. They fail to tell that the river is HORRIBLE for tubing. Canoing wasnt the greatest either. Some of the camp workers were very rude and unprofessional. They drank to much one night and decided to run their mouths about our group because we didnt want to tube for 6 hours. Bathrooms were broken, and showers are very limited.

Been going here for 4 years and probably won’t be going back again. In previous years, we were charged by site (as stated on their website) but this year, they charged us per tent - way too much money. The canoeing was also a pain...literally. It appeared they had attempted to weld the seat of the canoe on after it became unattached, which didn’t work so it was duct taped (also didn’t work well) so the seat was slanted and started hurting my back shortly after getting on the river. The patch job kept tearing as the trip went on and was almost completely detached by the end.
