All ways a new staff I went there recently to load a card for my son make cashier admit he doesn't think he did it right but his fellow co worker reference me to the cards company. Then same cashier guy gets into it with another customer. They are not organized and really need more training on cashier and hospitality. Hard looking people working there busy gossiping more than working. I went there a month ago or so they had area were paper plates were blocked with boxes and carts I think around new years or Christmas maybe Thanksgiving but dang so we not supposed to get the paper plates smh . DVDs too high one time a make cashier laughing in my face cause I was trying purchase DVD player for my blind mom just yo listen too talking about them d fashion they should be darn near free this the last one they probably won't stick no more yet smh rude idk care what I'm buying shut your mouth. Not you diss my race don't put the males up on cashier at this location let them do stick or security. Hey more focused works from cooperate to play Under Cover Boss here.

I was literally just at dollar general on joseph campau. Not only was there only one employee, not only did she have her kid listening to a bunch of vulgar music behind the register, but she was very rude! Come one DG get it together!

The staff is always helpful in my experience. They don't always have in stock what I need "cat food" and like most discount stores of this type, the isles can be cluttered.

Very messy and unorganized store cant find anything falling over toats and boxes all over the place price changes are not update management is horrible they dont care about customers this place needs someone that is capable of running the store not leaving the store like dumpster so Sad

This store has declined in service with the isles being cluttered with carts that are full of products that should be on the shelf and it's very dirty and the cashier's have very smart comments to their customers they have no respect for their customers.Something needs to be done about this store

i come here a lot. everyone who works here is super nice. i wish they were paid more what they deserve. and to everyone commenting about it being messy or whatever that’s what happens when you don’t treat your employees right. blame the owners and dollar general.

Everytime I come to this store it's never stocked! 🙄 All the aisle are empty and crowded with restock carts. The staff is either in a good mood or shi**y mood. It's convenient for it to be right up the street but annoying as hell to almost never get what you went for. 😒

Place is semi organized. Things do go out of stock and stay that way for a bit. Not sure because there is a delay in shipments or because employees aren't quick with stocking. Most cashiers are nice with the exception of few. There are some things that need to be improved on to make this place a better plave but over all, it's okish.

A mess. I'm not sure what's going on, but they're unorganized. The aisles are always blocked. I know things have to be stocked, but do they ever get to it? Maybe management should offer overtime for stocking and tidying up the shelves. They're a horrible representation of DG. smdh

Two stars because the place is always a mess and the shelves are never stocked. But if I could give 5 Stars to the cashier's I would. The folks that work here are always friendly. I used to try and learn all their names cause I shop at this store every week but unfortunately I stopped doing that because the employee turnover is so high.Management or corporate, maybe both, clearly under pay and under value the people that work here which is why turnover is painfully high. With such high turnover you can't keep the place clean and well stocked.

Being well organized is very important however Dollar General missed the mark on this🤔Tips: make sure your floor are mopped, Make sure your customer's could walk through the store without stepping over the merchandise and Make sure your store smell clean. I had to give this particular location 2stars base on what I've seen on Sunday. I will say this Dollar General had everything I was looking for and the customer service was great.

Dollar tree is my store! I freaking LOVE that place. It like a cheaper version of walmart. Super cheap and a lot of amazing finds. The get A LOT of inventory so be prepared for a lot of boxes around. Pretty good size and service is fast enough.

It's an ok Dollar General. I've been in multiple times and sometimes an entire section looks out of stock. The pop section is not very good. They have a tiny selection of diet pop, only 4 options in a two liter.This is one of the better places locally if you are looking for name brand processed foods though.

First time there, was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store, well stocked, courteous associates, good selection. (Cleanliness I'm addressing clear aisles, no stock on floor, easy access to products, shelves well organized and stocked)

I went to this dollar general yesterday. I went in with my uncle and he held my line for me, when I returned as he got closer to the cashier- someone in the line said I can't get in front like that. I told them I was with him and everyone became extremely heated up. They said I was speaking my "Muslim language" and "not today in america" and threw many offensive racist comments toward me as well as profanity. There were two very inexperienced cashiers who didn't even look up to speak to me and instead forced me to go to the back of the line. There was no security and no professionalism. The cashier continued to let a few people just entering the line go ahead of me. I was left with no room to speak.

This is a good location to come visit and shop for items, good costumer service and good area, Just be careful when shopping because sometimes items are too expensive

The worst shopping experience I've ever had.The cashier & representative were so rude.I you asked them anything, they will rreply "bye, have a nice day" 👿👿👿mess everywhere. dirty.I'm not going to this store again.

Poor customer service and always one cashier and long line. Thought perhaps by it being just opening recently maybe that had something to do with it but nope that is the normal I guess! Been four different days , different times and same poor service and long slow line!

Right now all of their Christmas items are 70% off and since that holiday isn't widely celebrated in that area there is a lot of stuff. I mostly purchased winter items like tins with snowmen on them. 1¢ and 30¢

Everything is Generally a dollar. Lol hence the name !! This particular dollar General was cleaner than most I've seen in the metro detroit area. Also, all the floor employees asked if I was finding everything ok. Which was a shocker coming from the last dollar General on S.B Woodward just South of Clairmont that store was as Ghetto and trashy as any store could be. So if was to say the least refreshing to shop at this location.

I love the products& i find all items im looking for.12.3.2019!! Went in had basket full of things!! The line was very long!! Only one cashier was at desk!!! I left as well as other ppl!! I asked the cashier could she call for help!! She looked at me never answered very rude!! Im not gonna spend my money!! Where its nasty attitude cashiers got bad back already!! Sad!!

Every time I go in this place it is always stuff in the aisle. It is like it is stock day every day. I really like Dollar General but this location I try to avoid at all cost. It is always a mess. The one I like going to is on Davison and Conant. 3812 E Davison St, Detroit, MI 48212, this location is the one to go to. Maybe this one in Hamtramck could get some pointers from them.

Misguided advertising sales prices at this location. I was at checkout for cat litter and they wanted to add additional sales taxes. When I questioned that the litter was sitting on their side-floating-panel marked for $1.00 it should ring up for 1.06 not 1.36.The Cashier tried to say their distributors placed it in the wrong place. However, their distributors couldn't place rows and rows of cat litter in the wrong place with the matching labels on the panel. Somebody is lying here. Nevertheless, other items are marked up much higher than other Dollar General Stores. Idk this could be a franchised store.

This location still closed. Now it is 8.38 a.m. one employee also informed she had no key. So 5 minutes more to open but opening hours written 8 am .worst place.

Very messy boxes everywhere. Can only get one cart down the aisle. Great products just packed in a small space. Still happy with purchase.

Average dollar tree with a good selection too chose from. Often have deals on their items and the employees, at least in my experience, were very friendly.
