You know what the worst thing is if other CVS runs out of the meds you need and have to send to this location you almost want to just wait Because this place the customer service and the wait time is just unthinkable they are trash here super slow no wonder why the reviews all are less than 1 star it’s true when majority of the reviews are true but save time if you come here expect a big wait time and not have your medications ready deff not worth it but I had no choice but to come to this location worst CVS in history honeslty -0 starts would be the best to give but can’t even give this to this CVS horrible

My sister bought pimple patches but the pack was empty and even the packet was sealed with tape like can you guys take care of those and my sister had to pay for nothing. And it costs 11 dollars like guys please do something about it.

05/22/2019 UPDATED Review! Finally they have beautifully upgraded & renovated this CVS! It looks 1000 times better Yay!!!! RAVI and pharmacy staff are so helpful and truly nice and knowledgeable! I see more staff ready to help customers check out quick so drop by and see for yourself the new and improved CVS! I my rescue inhaler brand was changed and submitted to my Provider with consultation nor any details. When Provider provided refills to my current; again I was never consulted, and hung up on several times in seeking information and details❗️

If leave a 0, I would. At this point, it's better to notify corporate. Employees display not only lack of concern to help but also the nerve to not even have knowledge of their products or promotions. Store is always in complete chaos. The best thing they have is self checkout because your employees have made the quality of this store go down.

Pharmacy staff are rude. Hanging up on patients, snapping at customers because they're busy, they have 'lost' two of my husbands scripts. Watched a pharmacy tech or manager scold an elder man because he was early to his appointment. We need to do better for our community. The head pharmacist is the only one worth keeping hes always helpful, respectful, and kind.

I do not understand how a prescription called in at 10am is still not ready at 5:30pm. It makes no sense, and when I asked the answer was “you didn’t have to wait that long.” The point is I shouldn’t have to wait. I get you “pulled” my prescription and it was only a 5 minute wait but I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO EAIT FOR A SCRIPT THAT YOU HAVE HAD FOR 7.5 hours!!!! When the person behind me had the same “wait” and had their script called in 2 hours before arrival don’t be shocked that I am angry. Judging by the amount of unclaimed bags sitting on your shelves you clearly have no clue how to triage your incoming orders.To anyone reading this, save yourself some frustration and just find another pharmacy. This one does not care about people, at all.

Pharmacy staff overall is very nice and helpful. Last time I went to get my mothers prescription there was a lady named renata extremely rude. Yells at her co workers on her phone and always giving wrong time for pick up this not the first time this happened. She tells me to come pick up tomorrow I come there’s nothing there when I go in and ask she says absolutely nothing. I don’t know how she even has this jobHer behavior in unacceptableI will be making an actual complaint to cvs

The pharmacy here should absolutely be audited. Medications get refill notifications but aren't actually ready, people behind the desk saying they need 15 minutes but when you return hours later not ready. Employees eating behind the counter with medication. There is no way this CVS is compliant.Edit October 2022: Ive had a prescription on order for almost two weeks, I tried to pull it to take to another pharmacy but was told I couldn't and it would most likely be in the next day. I've had several conversations with different pharmacy staff of trying to get this resolved and have been told several times "You're not the only one waiting on this medication" WHICH I KNOW AND THATS WHY ITS DISTURBING SO MANY PEOPLE ARE NEGATIVELY IMPACTED BY THE OPERATIONS OF THIS PHARMACY. It is incredibly aggravating that this is the pharmacy I have to use and its never operated even at a decent standard.December 2022: Its mindblowing how awful this pharmacy is. Medicine on hold for over a WEEK because nobody got to "pushing it through" because its "new staff"

If i could give zero stars I would, Every time I go there to pick up my prescriptions I am never greeted, they will look at me & not say anything. I get that it’s busy and short staffed, but where is the customer service ?? No “ someone will be right with you “ or “ hello “ & they constantly lie about the wait time. There is one lady (not sure of her name) who is soo. . . rude. She finally comes to the register & asks my name & walks away to help someone else & as I’m calling her politely she ignores me until I raised my voice a little, all to tell me it wasn’t ready yet. It shouldn’t have to take for me to call for her. I never left the area, I waited. It’s not okay to have these kind of people dealing with meds. Something so small, turns out to be so big after dealing with the same thing constantly. I’m truthfully tired of this pharmacy & I will be going to a different location for my meds from now on.

I have multiple pieces of proof that my prescription was sent to the pharmacy. I talked to my doctor. They claim I don't even exist in the system despite having my prescriptions filled there for two decades. Good work CVS Hamtramck per usual. I'll be making a formal complaint tomorrow.

Today I had a last minute situation to where I needed some photos copied in a hurry for court. I was really struggling when an employee came to my rescueAnd helped me out. I think he was a manager by his shirt but JP was very helpful. I always come to this location because it's in my neighborhood but the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The pharmacy is a total disaster these days. For the past six months, there has been an issue with my monthly script every single time. I have repeatedly explained what I need, I've even had the doctor personally call in to explain- one would think that a note could be made on the account or something if the script is really that difficult to understand (which, honestly, it's not). Several members of staff are incredibly rude and act like I am inconveniencing them, or treat me like I am lying or trying to scam them. It's really a shame, this pharmacy used to be great. I've finally given up and am taking my business elsewhere.

THEY DO NOT ENFORCE MASK LAWS.While the staff is friendly and the store is clean, with well lined plans for distancing I have now gone in twice and seen multiple people not wearing masks. The staff and management do not say anything to these people breaking the law and endangering others. I want to know what the management plans to do to address this before we start shopping here again.

Every time I try to get a prescription filled here it is a problem they say it’s over the counter and not covered by insurance I have looked up my insurance coverage and they are covered it’s like they are trying to force people to spend money in the store and the pharmacist are extremely rude and hung up on me!!! I will be calling corporate on them they don’t even deserve any stars whatsoever I’m calling my dr in the morning to switch pharmacies

This store is horrible. Nobody was at the front counter I had to go find someone. A lady fell down in the store and really wasn't trying to help her up until I said something. That's just disrespectful and she was a senior citizen and I am a senior citizen I will never go there again.

The stores not bad, they have really good products. The employees are not the nicest and the lines are usually 5 minutes long. They have cheap products like pepsi for 1 dollars instead of the usual 2 and they also give you CVS cards that can save you a ton of money. The pharmacy itself, it's not that good, it takes them a long time to respond and give your medicines. Overall, I would give this store a 7/10

Bad customer service. It takes them a very long time to fill prescription(sometimes days). They're not very knowledgable in pharmacology. They even get prescriptions wrong or try and fill it with things they think are similar. Im surprised these people went to school for pharmacology and somehow passed. Getting a prescription filled within a week and getting it filled right seems impossible at this place

Incredibly incompetent people who take days to fill your script. Absolutely zero customer service. They never answer their phones, when you call. I have called them, waited on hold, drove up to the store, and still been on hold the entire time only for them to claim they are "too busy" to answer the phone.That's not the case, they just don't answer the phone.

Pharmacy made me wait an hour just to not have what I was prescribed. They also took my INSURANCE CARD AFTER I TOLD THEM 3 TIMES Hey you have my insurance card I need it back . Oh and they also dont answer the phone which was super helpful.

Shift manager David is extremely helpful and went above and beyond in patiently helping me out with a greendot card trouble. The other employees did not help since there was not much they could do, but david went back n forth with green dot and solved the crisis situation for me. Thank you so much for that.Also the pharmacy staff were extremely helpful and friendly..

Larry (I believe that was his name I think he was the manager) from the Hamtramck CVS store was INCREDIBLY nice. My sister and I came in to grab some essentials and he was so accommodating and polite. We are so lucky he works at our local CVS!
