Very helpful and explained everything to me so there was no confusion. I could tell he wanted to help and that's exactly what he did.Add on - they can make canceling your insurance complicated so just a forewarning if you plan to cancel. Try and do it like a month ahead so you don't end up paying two insurance payments when you don't have insurance/ or a car that doesn't need it.

Derek, was my my agent after my last agent retired, I have been with Derek for 2 years and never met him. I always had to deal with this agent on the phone. When I called his office and I asked a question, I was told I have to be hung up and they would call me back with my answer, I accepted to be put on hold, but to be asked to be hung up and called back, na.. don’t work with me.I went through a huge surgery and my income was severely impacted. I called Mr Leathers on the options I have, again I had to be hung up and you know it, his office called me back. They never gave me any options. They told me my policy had to be PAYED IN FULL. Before they reinstated my policy. My policy never expired per corporate ( state farm). Mr Leathers office kept txting me every month, stating they can reduce my policy’s and needed me to call them.My thoughts are, if you can reduce my policy do it, I don’t need to talk with you to do so.. I don’t have the time to play games..I have no I’ll feelings for Derek Leathers, that’s why I gave him 3 stars, Derek Leathers just wasn’t the agent for me.In regards to your response I would like to state I have many text messages from your office/your business phone number stating that I could save anywhere from 15%-20% on my policy’s. You won’t find my policies on your books, because I’m no longer a customer of yours.

I've worked with Derek and his team for 3 yrs. I liked that they offer bundle discounts at reasonable prices. This office is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their concerns. Staff is caring, mindful and polite when answer the phone. I’ve switched car insurance about a little less than a year ago and I couldn’t be happier. Not only was it cheaper but I get better coverage and when I call about something I can actually get ahold someone rather than leaving a message. Also they contact me about possible ways to save money with discounts rather than me having to call and ask. I would highly recommend calling and seeing what they can do for you!

Chris Ostrowski was such a HUGE help this past week with reaching out to me and helping me find the lowest quote I could find with car insurance! Sat with me on the phone and walked me through everything, was so sweet throughout the whole thing. If I could give more stars I definitely would!! My previous agent had retired and I was transferred to this agency. The first person I spoke with, and that contacted me was Kirsten. Kirsten is my go to at this State Farm, she's on top of everything and every issue I have had the past 7 months, which unfortunately has been quite a few. She will actually get back in touch with you, as she says she will, through any and all means necessary. That alone is a rarity in this business. Unfortunately I had a few headaches with underwriting when it came to my auto insurance, with renters I had, that kept coming up as household drivers and underwriting wanting to cancel my auto insurance. I called Kirsten and later that day she called me back telling me not to worry she had fixed the problem with underwriting. That same situation happened when a new renter moved in and again she fixed it. That's just a small example of something I needed assistance with. I'm set in my ways (yes you can read into that as stubborn, old fashioned, or however) but when I deal with one person that's the only person I'll deal with from that point on if they treat me right. Well Kirsten has gone above and beyond what is now the new low standard for many (you're just a number and a payment), to caring about the person and how to truly help YOU. She's a fast rising, bright burning star that's not only earned my business but will keep my business, as she is part of our family. Give her a chance and see what I mean. She's an unfathomable asset to State Farm, and to all her clients, she should be the staple for her colleagues to emulate. She's professional, courteous, caring, and extremely talented.
