Driving through from out of town for a camping trip and had a leaky faucet on our rv. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone go so above and beyond to help me fix a problem. Extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Got us back on the road in no time. Thank you!!!!

Had trouble with our generator and they were more than accommodating to help us. Gave us a lot of educational knowledge about the generator and other small engines. Highly recommend this place for any small engine problems if you are in the area.

Friendly workers and good customer service. Decent selection of quick fixes and other items. They have a paint lady if you need paints. She explained a few projects with me well and had the patience to inform me on how to do it and answered all my questions. This place has gotten better over the last 4 years.

This store has everything! Excellent amount of merchandise items and choices. Even has furniture and appliances. Very reasonable prices, quality name brands, unique items you can’t find elsewhere, spotlessly clean, very well organized & neat so it’s easy to find items, aisles well marked, cashier was friendly & helpful, too! Wonderful experience so much so that I went back a week later when I had time to browse further than I did the first time. I could literally spend hours browsing here! I’m so happy to have found this hidden gem that I will always come here for my needs. Hopefully I’ll never have to set foot in one of those big box places where you can never find help to even ask a question. I highly recommend Hale Hardware!

As usual great service. Picked up a great charger on the recommendation from Keenon. Staff members are knowledgeable and cheerful. If you need something check out our hometown hardware store. If they don't have what you need they will order it or recommend where to find it. Had my lawn mower repaired and it was quick and reasonably priced. The general idea is if you can't find it just ask one of the employees or ask for Todd and they'll find it for you or order it in. Eric & Todd are very knowledgeable about hardware in general. Tal is great at the service desk. Bought a new lawnmower cub cadet. Very satisfied.

Been shopping at Hale Hardware since end 1979 except when went to Texas for work in 1981 then back here in 1986.The store is well stocked. Jerry, Tod, Eric, Tim and Tal are very knowledgeable for ALL your projects. Even the new folks that work there are knowledgeable. Can't say enough good about Hale Hardware. They are great. There prices are fair period

Hometown hardwares are the best. They always greet me and ask if they can help.Today I bought some water softener pellets and a worker was checking out something in front of me. He asked if he could take them to my car. I said great but I have it. Got a propane tank refill. They called back to tell them I was on my way to get. Same guy who offered to take my pellets filled the tank. Really. Menards is decent for a big box but still not like this. Felt pretty good about this experience and pretty much every time I go there.

Staff is friendly and very helpful, we have been here over the course for the 3 months, at least once a week for some building projects we have been working on, in the area. The have been very accommodating, answering questions and helping to come up with solutions to different things we are working on. Kudos to the crew!!!

I rented a Lift from this hardware store, Very good experience, Both of the rental gentlemen were extremely nice and helpful as well as smart about any project. You never find this kind of help or genuine kindness anymore. Do not go to any of the big stores or other places in the area GO HERE. Very simple payment process as well as clean new equipment!

What a nice place. Helpful but not overly pushy assistants. Clean, well organized and stocked. A real complement to the community, which is a great place (Hale, Mi) in and of itself. Hale Hardware. Stop there for your home repair needs and a great small town welcome.

If you like Milwaukee tools you should not go in here, you will buy things that you did not plan on buying.... great selection of tools and hardware. Excellent and helpful staff as well.

If I had to have a complaint it would be to maybe expand their hours some. If you don't want to be open on Sunday, maybe have longer hours during the week. It sucks having to go to the West Branch Home Depot to get something simple only 12 minutes away in the evening.

We go here often when we're at our cabin. Bought paint today. They have a really nice "cabin type" décor area. Just to name a few off the top of my head. It has couches, end tables, lamps, wall decorations, signs, bedding, shower curtains & all the bathroom decorations. Everything imaginable to give your cabin a woodsie look. Washer & driers too. And then all the regular stuff you would expect at a hardware store. Prices are a little higher. But expected for a store in this area.
